Tdarry:Easy! It is absolutely wrong to resort to insults as a form of correction. Your fears are understandable but no one forced you to believe the info either. You can rightly ignore it if you suspect a lie. Really, so much favoritism have been going down concerning this recruitment. I also know someone who was invited for test weeks ago. i didnt bring it here cos it sounds unbelievable but it is true. The only advise I will proffer is for people to silently wait till invites starts flooding in, which I believe will be quite soon. I called the DPR helpdesk on Tuesday and was told that the DPR recruitment site was down because they are collating the names and wouldnt want any form of intrusion or compromise of d site. |

Beautiful development. The traffic on that Oshodi-Sango expressway is no child's play. |
Congrats....... |
Good riddance.. |
divicoded:Matthew 17:24-27 Jesus paid tax Romans 13:1-7 (NIRV) 1 All of you must obey those who rule over you. There are no authorities except the ones God has chosen. Those who now rule have been chosen by God. 2 So whoever opposes the authorities opposes leaders whom God has appointed. Those who do that will be judged. 3 If you do what is right, you won’t need to be afraid of your rulers. But watch out if you do what is wrong! You don’t want to be afraid of those in authority, do you? Then do what is right, and you will be praised. 4 The one in authority serves God for your good. But if you do wrong, watch out! Rulers don’t carry a sword for no reason at all. They serve God. And God is carrying out his anger through them. The ruler punishes anyone who does wrong. 5 You must obey the authorities. Then you will not be punished. You must also obey them because you know it is right. 6 That’s also why you pay taxes. The authorities serve God. Ruling takes up all their time. 7 Give to everyone what you owe them. Do you owe taxes? Then pay them. Do you owe anything else to the government? Then pay it. Do you owe respect? Then give it. Do you owe honor? Then show it. 1 Peter 2:14 Obey those in authority The problem some Christians have these days is that they have chosen to follow the words of their pastors and ignored the Word of God. **** |
divicoded:It is so unfortunate that people would view this thread and have a wrong perception of Winners' members.......you are supposed to be on a 21 days fasting, sober and meek......yet you are here acting exactly as a deranged pig would. Are you fighting for God or Oyedepo? Funny thing is people like you barely even contribute anything to the church. You are a nuisance Sir! |
divicoded:I have given more tithes and offering in Winners Chapel than your entire lineage can ever give in a lifetime. Yet, I insist that all religious organizations must pay tax on their commercial ventures. God cannot be mocked. |
divicoded:If I did not have friends & family who attend Winners, I would have assumed you picked ur madness from there. But I know better, you must have gotten yours from your ancestors. I have an idea where this arrogance emanates from though. Market square kor, school circle ni.....na gate of hell u for open for your family ![]() Keep forming e-warrior, idiot |
divicoded:who released this dog? Abeg don't stain my apparel with your saliva o. |
musicwriter:you should have noticed by now that the dude is operating on a 'GIGO' basis. He is just pouring out what has been fed into their heads at school. You're trying to teach him common sense but their brains have been occupied with garbage. Though I attend Winners Chapel periodically, I am against this level of brainwash. Free the dude abeg |
Sibrah:Are you asking me like you're blind or something? Do you know how we spot the half-baked, sophomoric & myopic students? When they encounter a superior argument, they resort to insults. So much for a CU student......I won't be so petty to engage you with insultive words. Next time, before you post a distorted fact on a public forum as this, use your brain and don't just assume every1 will swallow your dirty opinion. Run along now boy! |
If you do not know that VP Osinbajo met this FRN act which was already enacted under the Goodluck administration, then "I'm suspecting you have some brain def***' |
Sibrah:They cannot continue taking offering for these projects because they are completed projects. Is it even sensible to keep requesting funds for a project that is over a decade now? CU and LU collect school fee (which is not cheap compared to public universities), the church has a bakery, a water company, a publishing company and generates revenue through rent/sale of shops and land within the church complex at Ota, aviation services, all the church branches remit 10% of their monthly income to the HQ.......and you say this huge fund is used for what exactly again? |
Sibrah:Next time, please be honest enough to add "I was told" before your statements. You appear to be just a CU student/graduate than a regular LFC member. Let me take you down memory lane, long before you got admitted to CU, church members gave special offering to finance the project, some even volunteered in areas of manual labour (carrying blocks, concretes and assisting on the site). Who are these partners you're talking about gan? What do they get in return for their partnership? Please dont you dare say 'nothing'.....else you sound naive. Talking about recurrent expenditure, is that enough reason not to pay tax? Abi other profit making companies that pay tax no get recurrent expenditure ni? Are you confused? And all the weekly tithes and offerings (which runs into huge millions) are used for what exactly if not recurrent expenses.....or does God come to pick them up personally, maybe He has an account. People who are mentally limited are not hard to notice. |
Sibrah:When projects are to be financed in Winner's Chapel, special offerings are raised which are project specific e.g Shiloh offering, CU offering, Faith Theatre offering, etc. Of course, people who give are termed 'partners' but that cannot change the fact that these are offerings/sacrifices given with the hope of getting more blessings from God. You cannot place Federal Universities in this category because they will not ask people to bring special offerings, rather people give for different reasons; philantropy, to be recognized by the institution, BOT, alumni contributions etc I also give to the church including winners but we need to be clear on this issue.....and yes, the church should pay tax on its commercial ventures. Jesus Christ wasn't into any profit making venture yet he payed tax. |
Seun:Very apt. |
Anger destroys..... |
fratermathy:You are right but FUPRE can still be allowed to run social science courses that are industry specific such as Petroleum Economics, Energy Law/O&G Law etc. However, Accountancy, Business Administration, Banking&Finance in Universities of Technology or Universities of Agriculture is a no-no. |
BuzyBrain:lol......just grab a seat and watch how events unfold. |
latonyn:And I stand to gain what exactly by telling a "very big lie" on a faceless forum as this? Money, Fame, Applause or mere likes? You must be a very big idiot. Next time, find a mature and sensible way to discredit a piece of information, better still, provide your own valid info to counter another's. I did not ask anyone to lose hope or quit waiting to be shortlisted. I only narrated my experience and this is not my first. I have seen it happen with at NUC, NPC and few other agencies. Infact, some have collected appt letters at FIRS and have resumed duty weeks before the general recruitment even commenced online. Whether or not you believe doesn't change the fact that it's happening, just do not jump on my post to call me a liar. I won't be so nice next time. |
Rick9:Amen and thanks bro. I'm inspired. I'll add up more thoughts and share it as you've suggested. Hopefully, it will inspire someone to achieve greatness. I also just attached a picture to my original post. It sums up everything I tried to say. |
4tune490:You're most welcome bro! |
Time changes yesterday! Indeed, life is in phases. That is why I always tell people who care to listen; fly, run, walk or crawl if you must, but make sure you're not in the same position you used to be per time. Life is loaded with so much opportunities than to be idle, complacent or redundant. This is 2017 and the year has just started, try something new, brush up and showcase your talent, invest wisely in a new venture, get some education, skill or certification, learn or do something new, network more aggressively, improve your creativity...........just do not waste your time on non-productive ventures. You never can tell who might just become the next big thing......YOU! Thank you for the nice comments and likes

I met someone last week who had collected his appt letter for FMS&T. The same guy even told me another person got his for BPP and they both had to part with some amount of money running into hundreds of thousands in Naira. I thought people have been called for interview but I'm surprised most people here are still talking about interview and shortlisting. The nepotism in public service employment have remained the same despite the so-called change. Such a pity people have forgotten how the last advertised fcsc recruitment for bpp, environment, etc went down. People who are getting the real jobs are not even applying online. Wish you guys the very best as you await shortlisting. |
I have an idea where this arrogance emanates from though. Market square kor, school circle ni.....na gate of hell u for open for your family
