Which bank did you use during your account update? I used first Bank but didn't see alert yet. I updated my details on the 19th too

I accepted my offer on the 19th of November and I haven't been credited since. More than 48 hours now still hopeful it will drop today or tomorrow.

Did my update this week Thursday and what I observed at the stage of entering my account number is a drop down menu where I only select my bank from the list of available Banks. I wasn't typed any bank name. I only select my bank. It was only my account number I typed. Don't know when you have done your own sir.

It seems no one receives payment throughout this week. Let hope for next week.

I don't think there is need to open NIRSAL account because people receive their loans in their accounts with other Banks.
I used FCMB account to update my details, even though I didn't receive alert up til now but I believe it will show any moment God willing. I have updated my Bank details a day before yesterday.

I was called in the morning around 11am.
The questions asked are:
1. What is your name?
2. What is the name of your business?
3. Are you the owner of the business?
4. What is the address of the business?
5. How many staff do you have?

Oga that payment was for artisans wooo.... They never start payment for payroll support. What they said on payroll support is that they are still enumerating and verifying applications and when they are done a payment date will be announced.

I believe so because they have started paying in about 12 state including FCT. Check news online for the updates of payment by batches to know your state date.

You can't say it is irrelevant if truly you can read between lines.
An important update is given with regard the payroll support application status.

About 70000 companies have been shortlisted from the 432000 businesses that applied for the payroll support.

Payments will commence this new week. The only delay may be for some states who haven't met their quota. They are about 400,000 names on the payroll for now. 100,000 names left.

Please is there any way one can know if his application is shortlisted for payment? Thank you for your kind response

It can't be first come first serve sir. I applied on the 14 October, a day to the deadline for the application and my application has verified. Let's just keep praying we should all be there soon God willing.

No, I was verified but didn't ask to upload anything. Have seen many businesses that are not verified but asked to make such an upload.

There might still be a chance, a few individuals that are currently verified were instructed to re-upload bank statement/ evidence of employee salary payment.

I red it from many National dailies that payment for payroll support commences end of October. Everybody can't be verify Sir. I believe more applications will be verified but it can't be all. Verifying all simply means everybody will get the support which is practically impossible.

From a reliable source, all those will all be verified, it's part of what is keeping them at work. Captured, send evidence of payment... All will definitely changed to verified. Hope this helps, not yet to ascertain when the disbursement will start.

Mine too has changed this morning. Thank God, we are now good to go.

Mine too has changed today but employees' accounts details still remain captured. I believe it is a gradual process. Soon employees account details will also change.
My question here is that, what does VERIFIED mean please? Does it mean one is shortlisted for payment or what?

My account status changed to verified this morning, hope my employees too follow suit.

Admission is not a big deal especially in Malaysia and UK. Just pray to be among the successful applicants.

From my verified source, PTDF scholarship is next year....

This is exactly my thought. It is like they are targeting February next year.

I don't understand ptdf's decision on how this year crew is to be handled. I feel they are planning for early next year resumption.

I'm a little bit confused with the way PTDF handles this year's scholarship process. I thought the process takes long because of the restrictions in interstate movement. But now that such restriction was lifted, there is no any sign that PTDF will go on with the interview anytime soon.
The worst part of it is the communication gap between PTDF and the prospective scholars. PTDF could at least informed us of their plans with regard to 2020 scholarship so as not to continue keeping us in a dark.
Question: Do you people think schools closure will be the reason why PTDF are yet to conclude the interview process?

High impact journal alone is 5Mrks. If you have any of Elsevier, Springer, Taylor, etc, you earned your five points intact.

For those who may want to calculate their chances, my observations during the interview has led me to this template (my observation);

1. Class of degree = 30marks.
first-class =30, 2'1 =24 etc

2. English, Math + best 3 Olevel grades = 30marks
A1=6marks, B2=5marks, B3=4marks etc

3. SOP + your oral Presentation = 25marks

4. Max 5 professional memberships = 10marks
each membership carries 2mrks....

5. Publications = 5marks
each pub = 1mark, I can't say for high impact factor pubs like Elsevier, Springer, Taylor etc

Total.............. = 100marks
NB: This is my observation!

I think Msc applicants are also affected by the suspension. Because their interview results could have been out if they are not affected.

In my understanding, this suspension does not in anyway affect Msc candidates. Besides, the induction isn't done together.

The most important thing is interstate travelling. Once it is lifted PTDF can continue their interview if they wish. It is the students resumption that the federal government is trying to avoid. If you go to university environment you will notice that some staff, mostly non-academics, are busy doing their works. I don't think that can stop PTDF from continuing the interview.

Nobody is doubting the fact that Coronavirus affected everything. What people are complaining is the communication gap between PTDF and the applicants. People are eager to know their stand, those that are successful should start planning toward their resumption and the unsuccessful ones should move ahead.
I believe if we can channel our complains to their Twitter handle they will do something.

Any hints on the outcome of the meeting of PTDF management staff with regard to the outcome of interview for Msc applicants and the propose date of interview for PhD applicants?

What I know for sure is that they will not cancel this year's scholarship entirely. It might only affects the resumption time. I could remember, there was the time PTDF had case similar to this. What they did was that they delayed the previous year's results and matched them with the next year's results so that they have awardees of two years in a single year.

Unfortunately, the probability for cancellation is very high. Most schools in UK, France, Germany, Malaysia and USA have decided that next year lectures will be online mixed with just considerable group teaching with few numbers. Visa office are still shut and there is no international flight.

The aim for OSS is for you to do see and apply what you learnt practically which mostly involves travelling to the field, industries and overseas your country of study to acquire the expertise. It is not for you to do online course. Even current OSS students have just been in their accommodation studying online without any practical experience and no value of money. No jobs and lots of people are at home fighting mental health issues as no where to go and forced to stay home.

But just keep on praying sha so Coronavirus vaccine can be found.

I believed they finished interview for all Msc applicants before the suspension of the process. Even if they will cancel this year's scholarship, they suppose to consider those Msc applicants. Because they spent a lot to attend the interview. They paid for transport and probably some of them paid for hotels in the states where they attended the interview. I don't think they are just to these applicants if they cancel the entire process. They will at least complete the process and release the final results and ask the awardees to wait till next year's academic session before they can start their studies. I hope they will not cancel the entire process God willing.

The information below(bolded), I got it from someone who has contact at PTDF.
Everything is still on hold. A meeting has been convened for next week to decide whether to continue with the process or cancel it for this year.
