Good morning mama's,pls come to my rescue av not been menstruating since I gave birth I menstruated last July 2016 although I did family planning immediately I gave birth that was may last year and since last week Monday av been feeling like menstruating and it's painful but it's not coming out small something black will just come out and that will be the end.pls is it normal? cos am disturbed.Thanks for the response Cc All mama's.

Nursing and walking don't have anything to do with one another ma'am,you can go ahead,he will walk when he is ready but weaning should be a gradual process to avoid engorgement and to also allow him to adjust physically and emotionally,,,two weeks is too much o

Thanks for the response MA, during the day he goes to school but in the night it's problem my boy won't sleep if there is no breast in his mouth if you remove it when his sleeping and he discovered that will be the end of the sleep so how will I wean gradually?

I don't think walking matters in this whole equation cuz some people wean before baby can sit sef. I think taking him to your mum's is a good idea esp if you live in the same city, I think he'd eat there and you can always go get him back if he's still not eating. But two weeks is sha too long, try a week.

My baby had the same discharge some days ago, I googled for solutions and read on baby Center that it is clogged tear duct and I should clean with warm wet cloth and then gently massage the area between the eye and the nose, I did that and it stopped coming out after 2 days.

Thanks ma i will definitely do that only that my ds doesn't allow pple touch his body especially his head and eyes.

Pls,take the child to hospital.Eyes and Ear are delicate even if the prescriptions work.If you want to try,try boobi juice on the eye.

Please don't give him the eye drops, you can get penicillin ophthalmic ointment to be applied under the eyelid. It's suitable for babies that should clear it up if it's caused by the harmattan Dust. Also give him vit c, If the discharge reoccurs after a day or two take him to the hospital.
My ds had the same symptoms and after applying the ointment cleared up the next day.

I wouldn't put anything into a baby's eyes without a Paediatrician (not even GP) prescription.

Eyes are delicate organ, Once damaged. . .

Please help a depress mother. My baby is 7month plus and she refuse to take food. If u put little stew in her mouth she will behave as if it has enter are brain, egg custard she will vomit, ceralac both rice and wheat it's a struggle,pap(ogi) it's a fight, formula nko she will close her mouth so tight. All she wants is continuous breastfeed and little water.though I did exclusive breastfeeding. Though she is fast in all her development milestone but she is not getting fat.

same is happening to me too my 9month old ds as refuse to eat too not even pap but i was told he will eat when he stops breastfeeding cos his not even fat. so don't worry he will eat later

This was me few months back. My baby didn't really start eating solids till he was 9 months or so. Initially he would only take a small quantity of watery pap with Breast milk and Amala and ewedu with plenty singing sef. He hated cereals. He was EBF. I also noticed he preferred finger foods so I sometimes give him bits of food from my plate. Now he is almost 15 months and is feeding has improved. He even takes d cereal he refuses before. Just be patient and persistent. He will improve with time
