santity100:The people you are referring to, was it pre or post biometric era? the introduction of biometrics by most countries(last 6-7 yearish) makes it easier (literally the click of a button) to detect migration fraud, so if Canada has your bio-metrics and you refused to declare that you had been refused by Canada, supposing DIBP decides to check randomly, what happens? In my opinion, it pays to be truthful. Moreover, the thing most of us forget is that when we indulge in such shady practices, we spoil it for others, how? because this could attract unnecessary scrutiny for applications from Nigeria. I strongly advise against putting false /misleading information in visa applications. Just be truthful and then pray ! |

Re: General Australian student Visa Enquiries Part 2 by WestAfrican: 11:36pm On Mar 29 zimunachimdi: thank you sir and God bless you. sorry to bother you but i have few questions to ask again. so one who goes for diploma too will not be given a 2yrs graduate visa?the mba has not been giving yet. we are just looking for cheaper fees No diploma is not inclusive. Sorry Another is,how can one who has a bsc in public administration study bsc nursing since no background of sciences. does it mean writing another WAEC? Don't inform them you already have a degree in public admin otherwise you may find it hard securing admission with the school. Just enrol as a freshman. And NO i dont think you need to rewrite a waec. tbanks. There is a graduate entry option into nursing for people without a nursing qualification, how about trying that option instead? depending on your age, you may have a bigger fish to fry ( if you do not declare your previous bsc) in an attempt to explain the gaps (i.e what you were doing during the periods you were actually studying for your bsc pub admin , which I presume will be 4 years ? ) there are also graduate entry options into social work you may wish to consider that as well |
please can someone ans this questions i wish to change my career to nursing, i have bsc in physic already i will like to apply for bsc in nursing for july intake. am 30 years i want to know my chance of admission and visa grant. can i file together with my husband and son? we have 20m in our sponsor account thanks [/quote Your visa grant depends on your ability to convince the Case officer of your reason for career change, if you're planning to change to NUrsing, I'd advise you apply for the Master Of Nursing Practice (Univ of New England has an October entry, Edith Cowan and some other universities offer this course. It is a graduate entry option into nursing for people with non nursing qualifications(although they do accept people with non Australian nursing qualifications too) , graduates of this course are eligible to register with ANMAC-Australia Nursing & Midwifery ........body . PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE ARE SOME UNIS THAT OFFER THE MASTER OF NURSING COURSE WHICH DOESNT LEAD TO REGISTRATION WITH ANMAC,SO PLEASE read the details of the course very well before applying when I last checked, universities offering the master of nursing practice( course name varies) --i.e graduate entry nursing that leads to ANMAC registration include: Monash Univ Of Queensland# Curtin UNE UniMelbourne Univ Sydney UNE ECU |
virtual3xpert:I wonder if anyone knows if BABCOCK falls under institution 1 or 2. Has anyone had a BABCOCK degree assessed as equivalent to an Australia Bsc ? I checked the aforementioned country education profile and it appears I'm required to pay AUD 318 to get this info, anyone with access to this platform please? Willing to pay ( though less than 318). Thanks |

Flinders university has a graduate entry option for non social work gradautes. I.e you can gain a Masters qualification in social Work even if your BSc isn’t related to social work http://www.flinders.edu.au/courses/rules/postgrad/msw/ graduates of courses listed here are eligible to for membership with Ausstrlian association of social workers https://www.aasw.asn.au/careers-study/accredited-courses a word of advise, always read the course information properly, check accreditation status and if it confers eligibility to register with the respective professional body,e.g there are some Master of nursing courses offered to international students which don’t confer eligibility to practice as a nurse in ~Australia. Same goes for teaching, for Masters level students, if you’re aiming to register with the Teaching professional organisation in Australia, then you should enrol on the master / post grad diploma of teaching and not EDUCATION |
Did you contact the OSHC provider directly? theirs is always more expensive, why not go through your UNI, it is usually cheaper when you buy through your UNI lusen: |

For those enquiring about courses, tuition fees, entry requirements ,etc you can access this website cricos.education.gov.au It lists all the government approved institutions ( for international students), you can type in your desired course (using the course search tab) and it will list all institutions offering the course as well as teh individual websites for the institutions where you can get further information. Hope this helps! |
Hello Solomoncaster Hello I recently got an admission to study nursing in NZ ,I did my Bsc and PGD in the UK I have read through the immigration website but uncertain about the following, I wonder if you will be kind enough to shed some light? 1) If the spouse of international students studying for Bsc on the skills shortage list are eligible for work visa? If yes, what are the work rights attached to the work visa in question? 2) If the spouse of the international student in question is eligible for a visitor visa ( i.e in the event of ineligiblity for a work visa) , if yes, what are the work rights? 3) Are the children (primary school age) covered under the spouses' application ? or are they required to apply separately? If applying seperately, what type will each of the children apply for? 4) visa application costs 5) general job prospects, to keep body and soul together at the first in |
ello nairalanders Still expecting my COE from the university , got a mail requesting for additional documents(which I will send), and they also added this clause.. is it like forewarning me not to mention that I have close relatives in Australia? DIBP Ministerial Direction No 53 Alert related to an Applicant’s Close Family Ties in Australia: This applicant has an Australian-based paternal aunty and Uncle who are residing in Australia as a citizen and is also participating in the financial sponsorship of this applicant. Keeping the requirements of Ministerial Direction No 53 in mind, the fact that the applicant has very closely related Australian-based relatives, may bring additional focus to this case when it is being assessed by DIBP officials, who are required to assess GTE conditions more closely when an applicant already has established family links in Australia. Therefore, the applicant needs to be made aware of this so she may be in a better position to address this subject with confidence if DIBP assessing officers insist on a student visa interview in order to investigate this issue favouredme: favouredme: |
