Food › Tomato Scarcity : Has Anyone Used Dried Tomatoes For Stew? by favouredon(op): 6:50am On May 18, 2016 |
With the recent scarcity of tomato, after going up and down without getting good fresh tomatoes to buy, one of the tomato sellers told me to buy dried ones which she now sells.
I want to know, has anyone tried using d dried tomato? How does it taste? How is it prepared? Is there any difference in colour, taste etc with the fresh one?
Your contributions are highly welcomed. Thank you. |

pazienza: How can we say that Anioma is not original Igbo and yet, for years, the two elite Igbo organizations ie Aka Ikenga and Ohanaeze Ndiigbo were led by Anioma sons, and the Asagba of Asaba remains a grand patron of Ohanaeze Ndiigbo.
Nne eh, it's high time you stop listening to our detractors. Igbo belongs to all of us, that was why Nzeogwu coup was termed "Igbo coup" and not Okpanam, Aniocha/ Oshimili or Delta coup, even though they( Nigerians) all knew that Nzeogwu was from Okpanam Oshimili in Delta state and not from SE.
Never did Ndiigbo from SE protest and insisted that Nzeogwu is not Igbo, even though denying him would have been a safe option, but we never did, even till today, and we all bore the consequences of Nzeogwu's actions. We suffered together and survived together. Anyi bu ofu, don't let our enemies tell you otherwise.
No SE Easterner is a more originally Igbo than any Anioma person, don't let them tell you any different.
Anyi bu ofu! See beta person dey talk. No be people like that disgusting tonychristopher. Thank you |

melzabull: I am from ogwashi ukwu in aniocha south LGA, and I'm pure breed Igbo. I see no difference between me and our SE siblings. Stop trying to mislead uninformed and gullible people like yourself.
Igbo is Igbo irrespective of dialect or state. A few individuals in the time past for selfish political reasons have tried to plant the seed of division amongst .ignorant folks. Living in denial does change the FACT. It is what it is-the TRUTH!
You are a girl. If another girl out of 1million other girls tell you 'you are not a girl', does that mean you will start telling people that you are not a girl?
If being myopic is your forte, then keep it up. Can u kindly tell me where I wrote in my post that I am not Igbo? |

tonychristopher: Aturu is not an insult maybe it means something else in your lanagauge but in Igbo itvus something else
So what does aturu mean in your language ?
Lol Like u didn't read my initial comment very well. I am from Delta state. Oshimili North LGA and I speak my dialect which is very similar to the Igbo spoken in Onitsha very well. So what does Aturu mean? |

It is only the Benin rejects that were exiled in anioma are not the original Igbo and we know them not ukwuani pure blood
So find another gist
Aturu Must u end ur comment with an insult? That is how to detect immature people. Even though they may be matured in age they are immature in reasoning. |

CoCoLav: Its preferable to use Knorr Chicken cubes, it brings out a better taste. I usually use bitter leaf and uziza cos that's how my dad likes it. You could also use Ugu leaves alone. From the image, its obvious the egusi isn't hand peeled (I personally prefer hand peeled). Use enough ugu (the egusi is more than the vegetable) and remember to use enough salt and pepper. I don't use ogiri. Pls educate me more. How did u detect the hand peeled Egusi from the picture? I only know thru d level of neatness when I want to buy in market |

Would you as a female going into labour allow your husband's brother who is a medical doctor/gynaecologist deliver you of your baby or as a man allow ur brother to deliver ur wife of d baby?
Give reasons for ur answers pls. |

What about the ovia osese festival of the Ogori-Magongo people of Kogi state where where Maidens are prepared for the journey into womanhood. the maidens dance half naked, dt is upper part of the body will be naked while the lower part is covered (Though I hear they have stopped this now). If u don't perform this as a maiden, then u are not qualified to get married. |
