Gud evening! Pls, is it possible for a candidate to be given admission into a different course at UI if it happens dat he didn't meet the departmental cut off mark, lets say he choose medicine, can he b given physiology if he didn't meet d cut off mark for medicine?

from last year's experience if u didnt meet d cut off for a particular course,then u have to take d COC(change of course) form,then u can now choose another course u want,provided they make it available for selection

i had someone wif 72 last year she applied for law..cut off for law was i think 74..she had to change to theatre arts n she was admitted to theatre arts

There is this objective questions am given to solve. I have solved so many of them except 2 which has to do with intergration. I'll be fine if u guys can welcome me with the solutions. The questions are as follows:

Options:
A tan^2x + 1

(2)Intergrate {xcosax^2 dx

A cos^3x + c
B sin2x + c

Just go UI jeje..UI's admission process is credible and transparent
since its a federal skul expect an affordable tuition fee unlike unilorin whose admission is the opposite of UI's and u have to pay compulsorily for tab,bandwith and starters' pack..

If I were a newspaper house and this is the second best graduating student, what it tells me is never employ anyone from this University or polytechnic if this is the best of their graduates.


We are talking about mass communication here, it's all about your words, presentation, communication. The substance what you are trying to say does not even matter once you lose the presentation and a student of mass comm should know better or he was poorly taught.

His English is not that of someone with a 4.0 GPA. If it were any other field I would understand but not Mass Com. How do you get a 4.o GPa in Mass com with poor English and sentence composition? These are the people that will end up as journalists and start printing misleading news all because they didnt get their English right. Did you notice how he said he "demanded" to see the GM, that should have been "insisted" or "requested" also twice at least he said salaries instead of salary.

Of All the Logical things he wrote,you could only point out is mistakes not learn and think.

after some iterations i got this x=0.734603507789 i took 0.7 as d initial value

what i mean is that Unilag,i Think uses or considers candidates jamb score and PUTME score in preparing their aggregate
since ur jamb score isnt that high You will do well to Opt for another that doesnt use your jamb score as admission criteria e.g UI

Each course had it own cut off
some courses were pegged at 180
while some 190
some 200 and above
it depends on the number of candidates who chose the course
