Working in a teaching hospital, I have learnt to understand my patient and learn empathy towards their pocket. The NCDC and Min of Health encourages prompt RDT before treatment of malaria but allows treatment commenced when you identify the classical symptoms: Fever, headache, chills and rigor. As a patient, you are also allowed to self commence as much as you contact your doctor on the 3rd of use if no changes.
