If these states are canceled, APC still won

Obi is winning in most number states currently. But he may not get the popularity votes.

Irrespective of what Tinubu gets, if he doesn't make 25% in FCT, there will be a runoff
You should try to day calm down before arguing blindly.
You were insisting on this wrong notion and refused correction.
Day calm down boss

Not true. Christians are majority in 9ja. The reason Jagaban won was because Christians voted for him. Not all Christians bought the lie/sentiment which Obi was trying to sell to them. Some people saw him for what he really is
Christians are not the majority in Nigeria

this shows that Nigeria is too polarized along tribal lines.
OBI got overwhelming votes from South East
TINUBU swept the south West
ATIKU captured the North West
EVEN ORDINARY KWANKWASO got good votes in the North West

Wrong for south west. Tinubu lost his home state lagos to LP and lost Osun state to PDP.
Atiku also didn't sweep North West coz Tinubu won Jigawa and Zamfara

It is the South East that's followed the tribal polarity you described

It`s irrelevant. Atiku, Kwankaso and Obi courted each other but nobody agreed to step down. They collectively gave their destiny to Tinubu. It wasn't hard for me to see. I knew this would be the outcome.
You sabi. None of Kwankwaso or Obi has the political power to single handedly defeat APC.
Atiku could've, if he had a united house.
What Obidients failed to learn is.... to become Nigeria president is about getting the HIGHEST vote. On their own, it was futile from the start.

Erm... elections actually works like that. Remember the 2015 elections?

An alliance wins you elections world over. An Atiku/Obi candidacy would have won the elections.

Unless you're choosing to just argue for the sake of it.
If Obi was still in PDP, he can never garner anything close to his current massive support in Nigeria.
Rather an Atiku/Obi candidacy, with Wike and Kwankwaso support would have defeated APC.
PDP disunity handed over The Country to Tinubu

Thank you.
Peter failed to grasp that Nigeria is North and South.
The Core North can't vote for him, but they would vote if he is side by side with with powerful, well known and well loved northern politicians.
Only Christians can't win you Nigeria presidential election.
Hope he learns now.

Rather than vote for whatever candidate that the parties force on us from their primaries. I think the youths should get in involved in party politics.
We are being forced to pick bad from the worse.
Just my thought.

God bless you for this
Actually, youths are trying to, but lack major support from fellow youths.
Just try take a look at the minor parties presidential candidates

- sokoto?

- Rivers results should be cancelled, APC did not win ward talk more of LGA in that state

A day before the election.

The legal body of the Inec staff insisted that the winner of the election must as a matter of fact, win Abuja if not,he or she must be set for a rerun.

And today, that is where we are...Abuja is NOT a state and it is Federal Capital territory and no one can lay claim of this place not even any tribe and so shall it be.

"Legal body" of "INEC staff" insisted winner of election "MUST WIN" Abuja.
Why you day lie na?

the second run off just requires the winner to score the highest number of votes
So, according to you, a candidate sweeping all of FCT votes is enough for a rerun regardless of all other 36 states results

then their will be a re-run which a simple majority will now win the election.
the constitution is clear here.
you can't appoint an administrator where you're rejected because that will no longer be democracy.
that's why the constitution was clear on that.
According to you then, a single candidate sweeping most of the votes in FCT alone is enough for a re-run regardless of all 36 others states

these people doesn't even know what a state is

FCT has an appointed minister from the president.
Constitution is clear here that's why they specifically put and
because meeting 25% means you're averagely accepted there so it means they trust you to appoint a good administrator for them.
anything apart from 25% is not acceptable which means they totally rejected you.
Falana is confused here.
the constitution doesn't say you must win it but you must get 25% there.

FCT is not a state that's why we have only 36 States and capitals

Think about it from this angle.
Assume a very well loved candidate from FCT decided to run for president.
Even if he woefully lost the total election, he will most likely win the FCT with others not getting 25% just as OBI won Enugu.
Do you think INEC will deny the overall winner just because of FCT

Why haven't they declared him the next President? The FCT is not a state, and the law requires you to have at least 25% after having the majority of votes and meeting the 25% in at least two-thirds of the country.
