BlueDiva:Remember the last time Scolari lost at The Bridge? what happened afterwards. . . |
Ibime:I didn't want to laugh but heck. . .LOL ![]() We were simply supposed to dictate the pace of the game. . .scare them a lil bit. Rush them like we blitzed Barca in 05. Carlo approach was wrong. So was yours. Why wait till the closing stages of a game, knowing fully well, that was what your opponent will try to do? |
nateevs:Feel you man and I can't even post what I went through while watching that match. . . I mean, damn it, this was ours to win. A victory would have been sweet! Besides, I see no reason why he should think about us. He works for Inter now. But shait happens. . .we got to move on. Back to the drawing board. No hard feelings. It's safer that way. ![]() |
Ibime:Ibime, told you that Carlo tactics and decision of not scoring an early goal was wrong but you thought otherwise. Tell us what happened? Nic was absent. As a matter of fact, we played with 10 men for most of the match. Nic should be sent to the reserves. DD did more than Nic. That is a fact. He won more balls, delivered more passes and defended more. What did Nic do? nada. Lamps, Mikel and Co just played as if they were contesting for "whoz got the skinniest boots" Turnball even tried. Kalou deserves a salary raise for his performance today. ![]() |
From James, Chelsea fan, via text on 81111: "Mourinho knew exactly what he wanted his team to do and they delivered. What was Ancelotti's plan? Walk around for 90 minutes and hope the ball obliged and walked into the net. Where was the urgency? We still haven't been able to replace Mourinho with real quality. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/8567919.stm |
nateevs:Nateevs, its hard to understand why any Chelsea fan would have rooted for JM tonight but I want to just assume that it is simply because JM remains our best manager till date. His sack was very hard for some fans to take. Take it or leave it, this man clearly put us on the "map" and until we win something BIG, I'm afraid, it will stay this way for some time. It's back to the drawing board. |
This is what I was saying. . . 2153: Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho after his side knocked his old club Chelsea out of the Champions League: "We were the best team by far. Chelsea is a great team, we know that and my team came here knowing very well how they play. We knew if we did not control the game by having the ball we would have no chance. We had the ball and we created the best chances and we should have scored before the goal. When we did score, Chelsea were completely out of the game. I thought everything was superior, not just our tactics but our attitude on the pitch." http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/8567919.stm True this. We were not in the game. I mean damn it. This was a match we should have won hands down. And Yes that ref na BIG TIME WE RE! MAD REF! |
lonelydude:He did. HE should have stepped up to the game and make sure that we dictate the pace of the game. Chelsea never woke up until the closing stages of first half. . .the second half was a mess. What was Joe Cole doing on the pitch. Maybe DS would have done better. I read his (Carlo's) comments before the match where he said we don't need to score an early goal. That was his BIG mistake. Why sit back and soak up pressure. . .does he not know how JM plays in most cases? score and close up shop. He said it before the match. . .he does not lose at SB in the UCL (bar against Barca). And for a man/coach who has never lost a league home match snce his Porto days? Carlo should have done better. Make him feel uneasy. Are we saying we can't win anything without Jose? 4 flipping manager since he left The Bridge. . .WTF! |
dayokanu:I really dont understand why JC came in for Ballack? WTF, that guy is not fit. That's not the JC I know. JM is not the only manager in Europe. . .But he just took Inter to the Q/F for the first time in years at his 2nd attempt. But that is not the issue, JM brought the best to this (Chelsea) club. The BEST manager so far. . .Why sack him? Carlo should have won this game hands down and easily but messed up BIG time. Anyways, we played with 10 men for most of the match. No not the red card. Nic was absent throughout. |
No hard feelings at all. Said it before the match that scoring early is the key. . . not waiting till final minutes as Carlo suggested. Where is that boy called Ibime? Roman should be eating his head off now. Should have known better not to have sacked JM. And that German ref is a plunker. Most Germans. They are no good. sons and daughters of that idiot hitler. |
Let us concentrate on the EPL. Next year should be better. ![]() The REF is a disgrace! |
Cristalz:LOL! ![]() No . . .I've been watching. . .! NIC berra wake up. He is NOT yet in this match. We are playing with 10 men. |
dayokanu:Even Barca couldnt do it but Inter did on home ground. |
That was a STONE WALL PEN! |
What! na wrestling them dey fight? |
NICCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC! oh |
Tough match eh? |
nateevs:Ibime does not agree with this. |
No one in particular. |
ofokaofoki:I agree. ![]() |
Jarus:How many foreign based players were there? Agreed it is embarrassing to lose to Niger, we should sometimes learn not to ALWAYS condemn. They tie is not over yet. |
Yes He Loves me. ![]() |
^^^ That was the only snide he made. Read the full interview and you will get a lot of positive vibes from it. And mind you, he said the truth and I guess he just couldn't help it. . .Roman must have hurt him bad. But then again you are right, we have to win this one. |
To all those saying ordinary Niger, I ask you, where were you when we beat Congo? Yes, you all will always complain. |
This is just the beginning. |
Eagles gutted by Niger loss ThankGod Ike says the home-based Super Eagles squad feel gutted after losing 2-0 to Niger and are determined to do everything to qualify. Goalkeeping errors from Segun Oluwaniyi handed the hosts two goals in the first half, and a plethora of misses by the forwards consigned the Nigerians to a defeat that has stunned and angered fans back home. Ike says the players are well aware of the implications of failing to qualify. "We are all disappointed," the defender told KickOffNigeria.com. "Nigerians put so much trust in us and we did not deliver. It will be a shame for us if we fail to qualify but we are determined to make sure we don’t miss out." Ike said the team played well enough to win. "They did not even create chances. We just gave away two goals, but we are not blaming anybody. "We created so many chances and had about 10 shots on goal and five that went wide. But we were just unlucky not to score. "We won’t make the same mistake in the second leg." That game comes up in Kano in two weeks time. Nigeria line up v Niger Segun Oluwaniyi - Terna Suswan, ThankGod Ike, ThankGod Amaefule (John Huan), Mutiu Adegoke, Isiaka Olawale (Hassan Taiwo), Reuben Gabriel, Chinedu Ezimora, Uche Nwofor (Bello Kofarmata), Osas Idehen, Ejike Uzoenyi http://www.kickoff.com/news/14383/eagles-gutted-by-niger-loss.php |
DreaShola:You don't necessarily have to do a fresh install. You can do a repair with an XP boot CD ( I assume you are using XP). When you boot from the CD, press R wait while it loads. . .you then get the command prompt (black screen) type chkdsk /r wait (it may take long) When the process is complete, type exit, it should reboot. (don't forget to remove your boot-up cd) it should work. Hope this helps. |
God is GOOD! |
