No, we don't have to rush but then, we don't have to sit back for too long It is RISKY!!! And Yes, Turnbull will play. ![]() |
I just realised that I had this movie "take heed" all along. Funny enough, I must have watched it and can't remember seeing anything offensive in it. So why the whole fuzz about nothing? or is it because of the "Alfa Sule" tag? |
I say score early, and this will force them to come out by all means and we can catch them on the counter. The best form of defense is to attack and we should force them to play our game. You can defend all day and Inter may still score. Why not score as many as possible and make them sweat. Catania did, heck we can do it. But Yes, Uncle Carlo is a gem in UCL games , lets see how he goes about it, this time around. |
Welcome to the Music Section. ![]() Dagrin is the King. Most folks on here will tell you so. There are several threads about him. https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-314451.128.html https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-60171.0.html https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-397119.0.html |
nateevs:You spoke my mind. That was electric. However, I read Uncle Carlo comments on CFCOWS yesterday saying that we don't need to score a early. 'I don't think we have to score early,' says Ancelotti. 'We need to play well, in a game with balance, because then we can still score in the last minute of the game. http://www.chelseafc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10268~1993726,00.html Frankly while he may be "right" I don't really like that. Odikwa risky. |
Eagles gutted by Niger loss ThankGod Ike says the home-based Super Eagles squad feel gutted after losing 2-0 to Niger and are determined to do everything to qualify. Goalkeeping errors from Segun Oluwaniyi handed the hosts two goals in the first half, and a plethora of misses by the forwards consigned the Nigerians to a defeat that has stunned and angered fans back home. Ike says the players are well aware of the implications of failing to qualify. "We are all disappointed," the defender told KickOffNigeria.com. "Nigerians put so much trust in us and we did not deliver. It will be a shame for us if we fail to qualify but we are determined to make sure we don’t miss out." Ike said the team played well enough to win. "They did not even create chances. We just gave away two goals, but we are not blaming anybody. "We created so many chances and had about 10 shots on goal and five that went wide. But we were just unlucky not to score. "We won’t make the same mistake in the second leg." That game comes up in Kano in two weeks time. Nigeria line up v Niger Segun Oluwaniyi - Terna Suswan, ThankGod Ike, ThankGod Amaefule (John Huan), Mutiu Adegoke, Isiaka Olawale (Hassan Taiwo), Reuben Gabriel, Chinedu Ezimora, Uche Nwofor (Bello Kofarmata), Osas Idehen, Ejike Uzoenyi http://www.kickoff.com/news/14383/eagles-gutted-by-niger-loss.php |

Michael Schumacher raises doubts about F1 rule changes Seven-times world champion Michael Schumacher aired doubts about changes to Formula 1's rules for 2010 after his return to the sport in Bahrain. The 41-year-old finished sixth in his first grand prix for four years, won by Ferrari's Fernando Alonso. "Overtaking was basically impossible unless somebody made a mistake," the German said following the race. "That is the action we are going to have with this kind of environment of race strategy." http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport/formula_one/8567043.stm |

One would think that he should be under serious surveillance even if they cannot arrest him. And I don't understand why non-indigenes should leave. Are they no longer Nigerians? |
Coalition Issues 24-Hour Ultimatum to Non- indigenes As the Court of Appeal sitting in Sokoto fixed tomorrow for judgment in the case between the Democratic Peoples Party (DPP) governorship candidate, Alhaji Maigari Dingyadi, and Sokoto State Governor, Alhaji Aliyu Wamakko, a group, Sokoto State Youth Coalition, has issued an ultimatum to non-indigenes and other religious groups to vacate the state within the next 24 hours for their safety, saying the condition will be disastrous if justice did not prevail. It also raised alarm over alleged plan by some unscrupulous individuals to influence the decision of the judiciary by all means and cautioned the judiciary to tow the path of truth and fairness, warning that the situation in Sokoto needs proper handling and mistakes should be avoided. Addressing journalists in Sokoto at the weekend, its Chairman, Comrade Abubakar Salame, said due to the peaceful and harmonious relationship existing between the indigenes and non indigenes, it had become imperative for non-indigenes to vacate the state for their safety, if justice is denied. He maintained that people were ready to defend their franchise through the most acceptable process in modern times and threatened to make the state ungovernable, if justice is denied. Salame stated that the association was aware of attempt by some unpatriotic individuals to tamper with the decision of the judiciary by all means, stressing that such acts will only lead to anarchy in the state. “We are aware that certain individuals are exploiting all possible avenues to tamper with the decision. This we assure the nation will only lead to a massacre of the highest order, as our people are not going to fold their arms to see their rights trampled upon”. He alleged that the group is aware that certain individuals are being sponsored by certain countries to create chaos and instability in the state and will not fold its arms and allow such thing to occur. http://www.thisdayonline.com/nview.php?id=168624 |

Niger beat home-based Eagles Nigeria's chances of qualifying for the second African Nations Championships suffered a major dent when the home-based Super Eagles were beaten 2-0 by Niger Republic on Saturday. Both goals were scored in the first half of the game in Niamey. The result means that the team, led by Daniel Amokachi, will have to score at least three times to progress. A total of 16 teams will contest the second ever championships, double the number that took part in the inaugural event.
^^no be offside??
No it wasn't. Watch the replay. But what a strike from Seedorf. Good enough to win any game but Chievo's coach is to be blamed IMO. Why remove that guy on the left side of defense? He shouldn't have. |
Ibime:If we play like Catania did, oh yes we will win. I watched the match and all we have to do is get behind the back 4 from the wings (that was exactly what Catania did) and not trying to push through the center. Tell Nic to take note. |
Good Morning Jesus, Good Morning Love! |
This refs done come again ooo! Chievo scored a good goal but ruled out for offside. |
MRbrownJAY:Don't bet on it just yet. Report reaching Moi is that Ferraristas might have exceeded their car engines limits in the process of winning this race. You should care to notice that there is still a long way to go! I'm Happy for Lewis though. ![]() |
Thank You Lord. You are wonderful to me and my family. |
