PTF REWARDS AMODU, EAGLES

For qualifying Nigeria for the 2010 World Cup, the Presidential Task Force on Monday night in Abuja, presented Super Eagles Head Coach Shuaibu Amodu with a brand new Kia Sportage SUV and the sum of N1.4 million.

Sports Minister and vice chairman of the PTF Sani Ndanusa, said the gift was in recognition of the coach's success in getting the country the World Cup ticket.

Amodu's assistants were given N500 000 each, while each of the players received a Longines wristwatch.

The presentation was made at a dinner organised for the squad by the Nigeria Football Federation in Abuja on Monday.

Thirteen players were present at the occasion.

The other option I see is this, win all that we can this season and use the following seasons (at least 2) to build and develop our young boys.

@Ibime, Uncle Carlo understood yesterday that he had to do some tweaking with the formation but I don't think he is going to adopt the 4-3-3 formation for the rest of the season. Maybe just for winter period?
