@FBS
Kindly erase Angola from your poll and replace with Mali.Angolans 3rd and 4th goal were ''ojoro'' goals
GBAM
The two penalties were LEGIT!!!. Mali messed up before they decided to produce a magnificent comeback.

RuuDie:
Amazing as it seems, this has got nothing to do with keshi or coaching genius. . . . just plain luck as far as i'm concerned. I've seen it before in the AFCON in Burkina Faso, then it was like 3 goals in about 7mins in the 3rd place match between the burkinabes & the DRC.
how is that? Luck? did you see the GOALS?

4 GOALS in some 7 mins? What sort of luck is that?

Keshi made a sub - Keita and he banged in 2 GOALS!!!

Coaching genius and determination if you ask me.

2017:   From the BBC's Richard Connelly on Twitter   "Flavio could be president one day. Now he's scored twice. Both headers and he's five foot eight. Angola do have proper width."

2024:   Totally addicted to Basey (Cheers Irish) on 606   "What formation are Mali playing? Shame for them that three of their best players all play as defensive mids."

And Keita scores. . .see goal keeping error!

Bumpy pitch but the match came ALIVE after 30 mins.

Two super deliveries and two superb GOALS. Them say Flavio's head is made of GOLD!!!

Me thinks the free kick that lead to Angola's goal was erm, very soft and was Flavio not offside? Just asking.

The second goal was CLASSIC!!!

@Dr Kit, I dey gbadun the game small. Keshi was probably high on expired phensic when he made that statement. grin

Hosts Angola play Mali in the opening game of the Africa Cup of Nations - the first ever game to be staged at the 11 de Novembro National Stadium.

Angola coach Manuel Jose has two injury worries ahead of the game, striker Flavio and Stelvio Rosa da Cruz.

Mali's only concern is Barcelona's Seydou Keita who missed the Eagles' warm-up games with a thigh problem.

The Eagles' Nigerian coach Stephen Keshi says his team can go all the way and win the Nations Cup.
