@FBS
So Yobo mentioning the fans is now a crime? Jeez. Na wa for una o. He was only stating why they played to the gallery. They wanted to show off for Nigerians, and then he immediately admitted that they were wrong to have done that.
Is it now a bad thing to give the reason why they did what they did? Come on!
Crizzle, you know very well that I will be the first person to give support to this guy but FFS, why mention the fans at all? Will he blame the fans of Everton given the same situation?
They messed up, simple. Why blame the fans?
No crime is playing samba football, but the deal is this: Play it, entertain the crowd, but DON'T mess up.
At the end of the day, they fu.cked up and still got paid and now it is the fault of the fan for demanding beautiful football?
Tell me, why did they play to the gallery?

Sports › Re: It's The Fault Of The Fans We Lost: Joseph Yobo by FBS: 7:13am On Sep 09, 2009
Why bring in the fans into this in the first place?
Agreed Nigerians demand entertaining football but everyone will agree that the 3 points was more important.
Had we won and played rubbish, they would have at least justified the $10000 paid to them and the hopes of the whole nation.
People would have simply said-  "Mehnnn these guys no sabi play at all"
and others would have countered- " damn right, at least we won".

These guys earned some big cash in 90+ of rubbish football and it is the "gallery" that is at fault?

Gaming › Re: Nigerian Government Reacts To Sony's Playstation 3 Ad by FBS: 6:29am On Sep 09, 2009
sony can go to. . . tongue

To those saying the ad is cool I ask you
- Are all Nigerians scammers? - NO
- Are most Nigerians scammers? - NO

The level of scam in the US and russia alone pass water for indian ocean but we never heard any reference to that.

Therefore Sony can go f.u.ck themselves and their stupid ad along with those in support. It is an insult on the Nation and responsible Nigerians.

PS: Btw, why did they change that line in the ad if they felt it's ok to "joke" like that?

Family › Re: Can You Disclose Your Salary To Your Spouse? by FBS: 12:47pm On Sep 08, 2009
Utaroz:
The answer to this depends on the type of spouse one has. Some are good fund managers while some are spend thrifts. A spouse whose motto is that "money is made to be spent" may not be the best confidant on such issues. However, a prudent spouse is the best confidant on your income and investment dynamics.
You have a point.  wink

MRbrownJAY:
lets not stray away from the subject, ok? so here is what the question was: in which country do mothers who give their child up for adoption get paid?! and i am still waiting for your answer.
Ok and to answer your question: None but did you hear me say otherwise? I only countered the fellow who said this can only happen in Nigeria to which I said that it can happen anywhere in the world. Even you agree with me going by your post.

MRbrownJAY:
what are you talking about? YES,I repeat, the woman described on this thread CLEARLY lost her mind and what she did happens all over the world as this is not the first time some lunatics tried to sell their babies. there is even one that try to sell it on EBAY and another one on CRAIGSLIST both were arrested and sent to jail.
Now do you understand what I'm saying?  grin

Sports › Re: Argentina Vs Brazil - Sept. 5-world Cup Qualifiers: Clash Of The Titans ! by FBS: 9:47am On Sep 08, 2009
Strange sport called football or is it the world generally?

Read somewhere that Maradona's fault is due to his preference for home based players over foreign based ones.
I said strange because most countries are now screaming for their players to play at home and a coach should be given the support needed.

Brazil on the other hand stopped playing their samba style (for which dunga was seriously criticized) and well, they are winning matches (guess that's what counts). In fact they have qualified for the world cup something they don't normally achieve until the latter stages.

Can someone please explain to me what is going on?

Needless to say Messi was pissy poor.
