dayokanu:I can see u are high on paracetamol. Keep smoking yam u hia. On an Off day(i.e today) they all stand a chance however on a normal day only federer and nadal can confidently say they will defeat murray. |

Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by JeSoul(f): 4:21pm On Sep 09, 2009 |
I'm not suprised but impressed Clijsters has made it this far . . . a successful comeback so far. Taking out Serena will be a tall order though. . . . and can one of these fellas do quick and oust that creature called Nadal it will be better to spare him the heartache FedEx will deliver to him should they meet. As for Murray lol . . . it will be another 100yrs before a brit holds a GS trophy - they have been cursed. |
Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by ThiefOfHearts(f): 4:32pm On Sep 09, 2009 |

Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by RuuDie(m): 4:52pm On Sep 09, 2009 |
hope kim's fairy-tale story continues by knocking Serena out. . . . any other winner but Serene! |
Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by JeSoul(f): 5:11pm On Sep 09, 2009 |
ThiefOfHearts:When he showed up on the scene feeling like a wanna be trendsetter wearing those hideous abominable capris that hugged this skinny behind tighter than my jeans, and he was pulling out his wedgie after every point on international tv leaving unfortunate viewers like myself traumatized it was dislike at first sight. Then he beat my boy Federer couple majors straight he must pay a heavy price for that. Like Jaybee said he has no finesse, no fine touch, no charm, na so so muscle and a constantly squeezed face like say everything na fight. |
Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by ThiefOfHearts(f): 5:14pm On Sep 09, 2009 |
lmao. shouldnt you be beefing Federer for LOSING instead of being mad at Nadal? and are you saying the crack fiend he played against yesterday has finesse? |
Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by JeSoul(f): 5:29pm On Sep 09, 2009 |
Don't worry, I have already sat down and talked with Federer he must never allow himself to be disgraced like that again. You refering to Monfils? that kid must have been on something illegal . . . the way he was twitching and fidgeting and talking aggressively to himself . . . scary , but nevertheless entertaining stuff. |
Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by dayokanu(m): 5:33pm On Sep 09, 2009 |
however on a normal day only federer and nadal can confidently say they will defeat murray. On a good day Akwa United would beat Barcelona. As for Murray lol . . . it will be another 100yrs before a brit holds a GS trophy - they have been cursed You have said it all Brit win Grand Slam?? When the sun shines purple. When he showed up on the scene feeling like a wanna be trendsetter wearing those hideous abominable capris that hugged this skinny behind tighter than my jeans, and he was pulling out his wedgie after every point on international tv leaving unfortunate viewers like myself traumatized it was dislike at first sight. Traumatised for what? Dont worry Fedex would take care of him if Del Potro doesnt |

dayokanu: Dayokanu,I have noticed that you obviously have issues with the UK.You have absolutely nothing good to say about them in all respects,it would be better if you explained to nairalanders what the root of the animosity is. In relation to Murray, I think your analysis is very flawed and it basically reeks of your personal prejudice towards the brits. >Murray is not ranked 2nd by a British org, so it would be fair to say his ranking is well deserved as it is done by an independent body >Murray is one of the only handful players in the world that have beaten both Nadal and Federer (he has beaten both of them thrice). I think he is over-hyped by the British media(, but so what most countries do that,, there was a time Nigerian media and populace thought Okocha was the best thing to happen to football and yet he has never been ranked among the best 50 footballers in the world or even won an African footballer of the year award).I believe that he has potentials, definitely not in the league of Nadal or Federer but if you consider the fact he is just 22, he has a lot to offer yet. For someone who has a knack for critisising the Uk all the time, what about your country? If you watched the last world athletics championship in Berlin and last sundays world cup qualifier ,you honestly should quit talking about the Uk and concentrate your efforts on Nigeria( considering these are the two sports we traditionally perform well) At least the English team are surely going to the world cup in South Africa and yet again Nigeria has to rely on permutations and hope that Tunisia get beaten at some point. |
Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by Nobody: 8:15pm On Sep 09, 2009 |
viewlekan: Murray is ranked second for one reason alone - the 1.5 months Nadal was out by injury. viewlekan: That doesnt count for anything . . . Ivo Karlovic has also beaten Federer, Djokovic boasts wins against Federer and Nadal. viewlekan: Nadal was 18 when he won his first grandslam, Djokovic is also 22 and Del Potro is 20. |
Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by chic2pimp(m): 9:42pm On Sep 09, 2009 |
viewlekan:He applied for visa but unfortunately he got turned down. viewlekan:He ain't nigerian though. He is a nazi, hitler's surrogate son to be precise. |

>Murray is not ranked 2nd by a British org, so it would be fair to say his ranking is well deserved as it is done by an independent body Just like Safina was ranked number one without a Grand Slam, And it wasnt done by a Russian org >Murray is one of the only handful players in the world that have beaten both Nadal and Federer (he has beaten both of them thrice). Meaning what? What has this got to do with tennis and winning grand slams?? I think he is over-hyped by the British media(, but so what most countries do that,, there was a time Nigerian media and populace thought Okocha was the best thing to happen to football and yet he has never been ranked among the best 50 footballers in the world or even won an African footballer of the year award).I believe that he has potentials, definitely not in the league of Nadal or Federer but if you consider the fact he is just 22, he has a lot to offer yet.Murray 22? How old is Djokovic, Tsonga, Del potro, Nadal and Federer? |

fed express rolled into yet another slam semi final. fed is god what a genius |
Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by RuuDie(m): 5:56am On Sep 10, 2009 |
Doesn't matter how old or shitty Murray is, important thing is he's still got years to play and as long as he remains in that top bracket of men's tennis, he will get the opportunities to win a GS! |

Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by tubabie(f): 7:32am On Sep 10, 2009 |
Hmmmm OUDINI has been ousted. She has good years ahead of her to up her game and come back for more glory.I wish her well. Caroline obviously had a better game and dominated the match all through. Djokovic and Federer are through to the semis too and will play one another in the semi-finals, I can't wait, I hope Djokovic gets his revenge against Federer for the 2007 loss. |
