It wasn't Pique. . . . . .Capdevilla was marking the striker from a wrong angle.
He was the last man. . . . . Why try and get in front when he shoulda stayed with him.
Yep precisely. I was just commenting on this.

Emperoh: Look at how he turned Pique!!!
Vincente Del Bosque would change things around. . . . .

Personally, the 4-1-3-2 Spain deployed in the first half didn't really work.
Alonso was getting pulled out of position as a DM and the Spaniards have been all over the place.
We might see Senna coming in to help Alonso in the middle with Fabregas getting a breather.
4-2-3-1 with Torres leading the line woulda been more effective.
Then who goes off?

Capdevilla is the left back and he is having a nightmare of a game.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: FIFA Confederations Cup: South Africa '09 Official Thread by FBS: 8:24pm On Jun 24, 2009
By the way, it wasn't Pique that he turned. Wasn't it Capdevilla?
Pique was in front chasing back towards goal? No?

Hehehe
But to be honest,Tosic  has been a pile of coagulated self-service! cheesy
Serbia was poor and Tosic didn't really impress much. shiat happens .

MrCrackles:
Put it this way, the premiership is Level 1, so i am not far off but at 20's and a blossoming career in engineering, i cant be bothered! grin cheesy
When i was younger, around 16, i was on a YTS scheme with Leyton orient then trials with Leicester City Youth setup
That was as far as i went but no regrets, i am committed to my career now, footy is just a side passion! tongue
I play as a striker or left winger!

Is it me or engineering guys are very good in football. Olofijana comes to my mind.  grin
But keep up the good work man and to think you are left legged, sorry footed.  cheesy are you more like RVP or Arjen Robben?  grin or Obafemi Martins.  grin grin
.

Under21 Euro 2009
I seriously think Italy wont make it into the final
Balotelli, i dont know whether he will get a starting place in the next game, he needs to get level headed! grin

He is their main threat. Scored their first goal and a beauty it was. The lad is good and you can understand where he is coming from. But I guess he is trying though.

MrCrackles:
hehehe
I play semi-pro footy actually!Level 9 in the FA English footy pyramid. . . .Started pre-season training 2 weeks early to get extra fit
Not much ballwork, for the first few weeks, so it is hard with all the running and fitness drills, this is the part i hate the most! angry
But looking forward to the preseason friendlies and the season proper!

To the under-21's
Sweden looks red hot at the moment, i am leaning against them VS Germany!
I strongly tip them to get to the finals. . . . . . Attack and midfield wise, they look lethal
Final - Sweden Vs England! tongue
ha I see. Level 9? That will be like division what? 60 or simply division 9? LOL  grin And what position do you  play?

U-21: That aint possible. tongue
Semis:
England vs Sweden
Italy vs Germany.
Sweden is hot but I'd want to see Italy vs England in the final. Want to see my boy Balotelli in the finals. Assuming he doesn't get in soup again.

West Ham sign Inter Milan forward Jimenez
West Ham United have completed the signing of forward Luis Jimenez from Inter Milan on a season-long loan, with a view to a possible permanent transfer.
The Hammers moved quickly to fend off interest from other teams for the player, who will officially join on July 1 provided he passes a medical.

Me thought it was free as his contract will be ending in June. But I guess because he is under the age of 24, so now Bosman transfer. Can't Chelsea wait till he is out of contract?

MC is trying to rip Chelsea off.  cheesy

I watch GOlTV and me thinks they have the best commentator in Ray Hudson. The guy is second to none.
As regards ESPN, well except the hire British guys who understand that football ain't soccer and that the EPL is as good as a way of life, me thinks they can't do much to surpass Setanta. Plus, damn its very strange to me when these Americans anaylse soccer.
ME just try not to listen at all.
