Nigerians are not blown away or get any form of dead inspiration from the likes of Obama and Che. In nigeria, their likes talk and make all the promises without delivering.
Nigeria does not teach history in her schools, exactly the same way the japanese does not teach part of her history with china.
In what way are the inspiration of Che and Obama dead?why was a the film "Che" shot then?
That Japan doesn't teach part of her history with China doesn't mean Nigeria should not even teach her history at all.

mr. poster, its because we are not sentimental like westerners. We don't need humans to inspire us to dream, we just go ahead and do it. I watched the inaguration of Obama and i heard how he has inspired a lot of African Americans and a lot of Americans, in Nigeria its not so because of our unsentimental nature and we are not always blown away by romantic heroes like "Che", or Obama.
I beg to disagree. sentimentality has nothing to do with culture or race.
Everyone needs inspiration and it can come in any form. It can even be your parents. Have you any idea how Obafemi Awolowo inspired a lot of people?
The best form of inspiration comes from God

no one. I understand that other countries have refused to take them. The best answers to all these can be provided by the current administration. But again, why were they detained in the first place?
It doesnt really make sense to detain someone guilty of no charges.

it sure helps a sysadmin if he knows programing ,  but its by no means a requirement,  as long as u can troubleshoot and always project into the future and stay current on recent technologies ,  then you wont have a problem.
The 1 most important thing a sysadmin should learn how to do is troubleshooting and when I say troubleshooting, I mean doing it fast. How fast and well you can troubleshoot is what will make any sysadmin stand out.
You can know have have all the programming (software), engineering (hardware) skills but if you aint fast with it, your worth may not be that valued.

The sweetest part of being a sysadmin is when you are not around and everything goes bad. Only for you to appear, perform a few tricks and after 5-10 mins, the office is up and running. You almost fee like a genius. aint it?
Thats what I mean by troubleshooting fast. grin

Folks lets keep this thread alive.

Trend Micro is flagging the network tool from spiceworks.com
It says this is an issue with Trend. Will have to check this one out. It will be a sad story if you have some malware sitted somewhere wink
AVG Also reported that the EXE package included a potentially harmful program, "HackTool. DHQ".
Sounds like a cool software if the above threat doesn't really exist.

Yes, I'm just reading about the ex Gitmo al-terrorist. He was released about a year ago.
Certainly I don't think they will just allow them walk away freely especially if the government has cases against them.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090123/ap_on_re_mi_ea/ml_yemen_al_qaida
Report: Ex-Gitmo detainee joins al-Qaida in Yemen
agoCAIRO, Egypt – An Internet posting purportedly by al-Qaida in Yemen says the group's No. 2 is a Saudi national who is a former Guantanamo detainee.

The Yemeni group — known as "al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula" — posted the statement this week on a militant Web site that regularly carries al-Qaida messages.

It says the man returned to his home in Saudi Arabia after his release from the U.S. prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba about a year ago and from there went to Yemen to join the terror group.

The Internet statement identified the man as Said Ali al-Shihri and says his prisoner number at Guantanamo was 372.

The posting could not immediately be verified, and Yemen and Saudi Arabian authorities would not immediately comment on it.

Its take over time so says Soccernet. Man city tycoon to take over chelsea with some german investors.

http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=612007&sec=england&cc=5739
Both Liverpool and Chelsea have been linked with possible takeovers. Liverpool's American owners are reportedly in discussions with the Kuwaiti Al-Kharafi family over a possible £500m takeover. Meanwhile, the Arab tycoon behind the takeover of Manchester City is working with a group of German investors and may be ready to launch a takeover bid for Chelsea.
But on reading the whole article, I didnt really see anything about chelsea.

With this type of power, why did he not borrow one goat, transform the one goat into one thousand and one goats? He will then return the one borrowed goat and have one thousand goats to sell and make his money. If he is so much in love with mazda car, he can then buy one without molestation and police wahala. In fact, I suggest that the "goat" be set ablaze. Maybe, he will transform back to human being. Ewu mmmeeeeeee!

Guantanamo has being there b4 9/11 attack, so what different dose it make now?
`
Yes but wasnt really used for what its been used for today.
Though like some other people here and in the world, I have reservations as to closing it but we can bet the present adminstration has plans of how to deal with this.
They cant just let prisioners start flying about? and very soon most of them if released will the sue government of US for unlawful detention.

is the writer serious at all? why do they just lump everyone together? The writer is misinformed. Not everyone is a stereotype. I dont give a bagger where you come from, if we get to flow on the same frequency and share the same values of life, thats all that matters. God will give his blessings to the unions. I have graduated from being a sysadmin to a Head IT Support Dept but I still perform the task of a sys admin. Its so much fun when you know what you are doing.
With SOE, installation, configuration has been made easy and will remote access tools, you can afford to sit while you resolve all trouble tickets.

The World belongs to US and God bless US. cool wink

Like a fella said, there are 2 ways to make changes in a country:
1. Either from the top. i.e good and transparent governance
2. A nasty revolution.

Question to everyone, which option are you going for?
