Kayusfity: Fellow Nl'ers, please kindly enlighten me on the new British student visa policy. I'm about to apply at greenwich university and i'd like to know if work permits are still issued to international students. Thanks

Work permits is different from student visa.

With student visa you can work up to 20 hours per week during seamster periods, while during holidays its 30 hours per week.

You had quite a long stuff there so I had to trim it for scrolling sake grin (Before some NL users begin to pass comments). Yes, to the gist. Although I agree with you we have abused the essence of the church, its importance in one's life cannot be over-emphasized, especially living in a country like this where many of the inhabitants are either agnostics or atheists. Beyond the spiritual importance in terms of growth, there is also the advantage of socializing and development of a sense of worship - which was part of man's creation. In other words, don't consider the 'other sides' of what 'we' have turned the church into and stay closer (like you said you would anyway. I just thought to further encourage you.)
As for the Nigerians who don't like to associate themselves with other Nigerians, I think it is more about the exponential increase in Nigerians living abroad than it is about snobbishness. In other words, there are possibly 'too many' Nigerians living in the UK that some of them don't consider themselves Nigerians any more.
The last rate as at the 12th of Nov, is #262/£ from GTBank. So it's just in that range 260-263 for some time. But I'm not sure of other banks though.

I agree with that, some nigerians don't consider themselves nigerians any more. I have witness a lot of nigerians here putting fake accents to sound british even those british born nigerian will sometime say they don't understand pidgin. Those british born nigerians don't classified themselves nigerians anymore, some of them you will see them hanging out with Oyinbos, not with their african counterparts.

Did you just say it is a proven fact? Then why did you say I should contact efcc since it is already proven? I am not defending nobody, I'm just telling you to prove your point.

The reason i told you to contact efcc was, because you asked me how much did he stole ? Well i can't tell you the right amount. but i know he stole billions, and secondly you haven't heard in the news that he has been donating generously/ His wife and his Turbaning ceremony in kano cost billions of naira, to give them a royal title . don't you watch news ? or are you living inside a cave ?

If you do not look like EFCC and cannot investigate why are you saying he stole money? You said something and cannot back it up. Chatting with you was fun tho cheesy

It's a proven fact, Where did he get money to donate 20Billion to universities. Is it from his salaries ?

I don't blame you for trying to defend a thief.

Brain cells don't go missing. You're ignorant. And how much did Sanusi steal?

You have just proven they do go missing. You're asking how much did Sanusi steal?, Go and ask him personal.

Or Do i look like EFCC to you?. Go and Ask them to investigate and find out how much he stole from CBN.

No I am not paying for your internet connection, I was simply marveling at your ignorance and your willingness to display it. I'm not surfing with mtn neither am I browsing with free "15mb"

My ignorance and willingness?, Bros that should be you. you're a buying a story that a multibillnoaire will become a lecturer ? after stealing from CBN Bank. Some of your brains cells are really missing to not see the catch.

From Money Making Machine To Low Money Income.

Is he working for free or what ?, because France can't afford his salary imagine the billions he is stealing daily. He is suppose to say i'm relocating to France to avoid EFCC investigating me.

Shop is not a problem, you don't pay rent every month. it is year, all he needs is a collateral to prove he will pay the rent.
