Akure— Ondo State Police Command’s detectives have arrested a middle-aged man identified as Moses Alugo, for killing and burying his friend, who allegedly slept with his wife.

Police source said that some neighbours of the deceased told the man that his wife was usually seen with his friend, suggesting they were having an amorous affair.

The suspect was said to have challenged his friend who reportedly denied the allegation.

The source said the deceased left only to return, warning his friend of dire consequence if he failed to let go his wife. The source added that an argument ensued, leading to the death of the deceased.

He was later picked up by detectives from Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, CIID, for murder after the matter was reported.

However, it was gathered that the suspect, after committing the crime, reportedly buried his friend at Akinpelu Camp, Ode-Aye, before the incident was reported to the Police.

The state Police Command image maker, Femi Joseph, said that before detectives could get to the scene of the crime, the killer had buried the victim.

Joseph, who said the case had been transferred to the state CID for further investigation, described the incident as unfortunate and warned the people against taking laws into their hands.

The suspect, according to the police spokesman, would soon be charged to court after detectives are through with their preliminary investigation.

Keshi, in my opinion is the the best indigenous coach this country has ever produced.
Now let's consider the manner of treatment he got from NFF:
1. Keshi was owed 7 months salaries towards the confederation cup competition.
2. Keshi was denied the use of one of his staff due to financial constraint as given by NFF.
3. Keshi had to beg and plead before he was given a house and official car as promised by NFF, in fact GLO and some other philanthropists had to come to the rescue of big boss in this regard.
4. After the expiration of his contract, NFF refused to renew the contract while urging the coach to just help in managing the team until further notice.

With many other reasons in addition to above, how do someone with a sane mind be judicious in carrying out the coaching work for this team.
Keshi is calling the bluff off NFF cos the only and one problem the Nigerian football has is the NFF not Keshi or the players.
Instead of sacking Keshi, NFF should be reorganised and made to work for their money instead of waiting for the government.
