your recovery drive is read only so u cant delete the contents except u format it ...all the files needed to restore your system back to factory mode are on it so i suggest u leave it like that..
i also suggest u get an external storage if u need additional space...

What if I back up what I got on the recovery drive on an external storage device and then format the recovery drive in what way would it affect my system?

I deleted over 100gb of stuffs on my system recently to increase the space I got on my system.my c drive seems to have more space now but my recovery drive seems to be the same way it was before I deleted those files. Please is this normal?
