Alcatraz003: You tried in decoding my message as articulated in the second paragraph of your post but you failed to read in between the lines by not capturing the fact that the meat of my message is that igbos cant be relevant by throwing tantrums and burning bridges.
Igbos have to learn and relearn the art of diplomacy as that is the password to attaining power in Nigeria and World over.
Me i don taya to dey talk peeps. Educating igbos is like speaking to a wall.
Na friday night we dey....Club things. please before you go clubbing please educate me particularly on the steps igbos should take to be relevant in the affair of the country... Thanks in advance |

Alcatraz003: What you Igbos dont know is that the ordinary masses dont care if igbos leave or stay. I can assure you that the average yoruba man wants the igbos to have their own country, whether that is borne out of hatred for the igbos is what i dont know.
As for the hausas, i think they want the igbos to stay and continue being subjugated while they (hausas) continue to enjoy the oil wealth of the east.
I know most minority tribes dont like the igbos so they dont care if they leave or stay. In all these mess, the most worried set of people are the elites accross all tribes who are scared that their pot of soup (Nigeria) is being threatened by this Biafra issue.
The igbos should not even hope of faring better because they are protesting or heating up the polity. Yoruba or Hausa will not shift for you in the power tussle because igbos cant compete politically so these protests wont help the plight of the igbos, rather, it will worsen it.
All i am trying to say in a nut shell is that nobody cares whether igbos leave or stay. The Igbos will do well to face their agitations and ensure biafra is achieved on the end but till then, igbo suffering continues in Nigeria. I am still struggling to read a meaning outta your long piffle. At a point you said igbos are not politically relevant and still went ahead to say their striving to be relevant is also irrelevant. Are you lots programmed to hate any step taken by the Igbos |

mrvitalis: The truth is this.. We igbos have not demanded Biafra... if we actually did.. We would have had referendum since
What u have is a man who claimed he was sent by God to librate Biafra (well doctors in the house know this is a medical condition)
If all the five governors, senators, representatives collectively feel the people they represent want BIAFRA do u think they wont demand for it??
Only a fool will shout Biafra and still vote in the Nigerian election Mehn.... your ignorance is nauseating. Eritrea had their government officials in the Ethiopian parliament throughout the push for freedom till the time of war. Igbos participating in the day-to-day activities of Nigeria don't connote they are not serious in their pursuit of freedom. |

President Muhammadu Buhari has appealed to “discerning” Nigerians to ignore orchestrated attempts to sully the integrity of ministers and other senior government officials, who are being tarred with the brush of corruption without any concrete evidence, a statement by presidential spokesman, Femi Adesina, said Tuesday. According to the statement, the president was reacting to reports, particularly by online media, that the immediate past Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), who is also Minister of State for Petroleum, Ibe Kachikwu, is being investigated over crude oil swap deals and gas liftings during his tenure as GMD of the petroleum corporation. President Buhari appealed for decent and civilized comments, particularly when it has to do with the integrity of those who are serving the country, Mr. Adesina said. “Terrible and unfounded comments about other people’s integrity are not good. We are not going to spare anybody who soils his hands, but people should please wait till such individuals are indicted,” the president was quoted as saying. President Buhari reiterated the administration’s commitment to probity, accountability and integrity, promising that transparency remains a watchword, which would never be trifled with, the statement said. http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/207174-buhari-ministers-officials-tarred-brush-corruption-without-evidence.html |
