bullstriker: You can reapply for a study permit or travel with this visa the first week of June 2025 – before it expires. Ensure your passport is valid for the program’s duration to receive a study permit that is valid for your program’s duration. Thank you for your response, let’s say I reapply and God forbid I get denied, will this current visa still be valid to travel? |

bullstriker: The 150 days apply to study permit holders, which is issued based on the Letter of Acceptance (must be the same school and program submitted with the application, but start dates can change) you present on arrival. Then, a study permit is issued on the condition that you must be enrolled full-time during the study permit – you have not received your study permit. Now, the counterfoil (study visa) is just a travel document that allows you to travel to Canada to obtain the authorization to study (study permit), and the 150-day rule applies after you receive your study permit with the deferred letter. Your application was approved, study visa issued, but you have not received your study permit. Thank you for your response, I just got my passport back now, and it’s only valid for 9 months, the visa would have expired before the start of the program , that is September next year... I’m really starting to get worried now |

JMG12: No, I have someone who got his visa last year, deferred one, and had to apply to the same school and program since Uni Calgary only allow for 1 deferment, the said person just entered Canada last week. His visa will expire next year dec, and was issued 2 years SP at POE. Thank you for your response, I just got my passport back now, and it’s only valid for 9 months, the visa would have expired before the start of the program , that is September next year... morganchimex: Just bear in my mind that any deferral beyond one academic semester (150 Days) requires a new visa application irrespective of the school, so starting new year September is unlikely to work with your current visa Omo, does this mean this study permit is gone |

bullstriker: It will not affect you if you resume next year and attend the same school. Ensure your visa is valid at the time of your intended entry. You cannot change your program. Thank you for your response, I read through other people’s reply and some said my visa won’t be valid by the stated time as I have already deferred for more than 150days(1 academic year) and I’d have to reapply.. this is an awful situation to be in, after all the waiting and all. I’m thinking of sending a heartfelt message to the school if they can reconsider... does anyone think this can work? |

febishola20: Hello everybody, I’m in a bit of dilemma, I applied since the 26th of June, till date I’ve not had a single update on my application, program start date is 3rd of September, my school doesn’t allow deferral, if I don’t resume by the 3rd of September my admission will be cancelled and I’d need to reapply, I’d like to know if this won’t affect my application and yes I’ve raised web forms 3 times now and yet no update About this, my application was eventually approved last week but school had already cancelled my admission, I contacted them to ask if they can re-activate my application they said no that I have to apply again, the next available intake for the program is September of next year, I just want to know if this would not affect me at the POE if I opt to resume next year and also can I apply for another course for the January intake ( it’s also related to my course of study) I need urgent reply please everyone |

Good evening every one, quick questions please
1. Can a gift of deed be done for a property, if yes how can I go about it and also how else can I prove transfer of ownership of a property? 2. Is land sale agreement enough or I have to accompany it with survey documents as well? |

JMG12: I will advise your sponsor to transfer the required funds to the applicant's account this will demonstrate that the applicant has full access to the funds, and other documents should follow to back the source of the sponsor's income. Thanks for the response, I have the full tuition in my account with an active 6 months balance, no lump sum within this period, the sponsor is serving as a co sponsor, he will cover my living expenses, can I proceed or I should still have him send the money to my account? |

Teddiement: No, you don't need to cancel to get an earlier date. Infact it is advisable that you never cancel. I once had a similar experience. I'll see an early date on the cancel page, but by the time I get to the reschedule page, I'll get a different date.
Just exercise patience. Continue to check the cancel page. When you find a favourable date, get to the reschedule page ASAP, and you'll see the date right there steering at
I saw a July 5th 2023 date yesterday morning. So it is possible. Thank you bro I really appreciate the reply, I’ll keep checking |

Teddiement: There is a daily limit on the number of times you can visit the reschedule page. Too many attempts will lead to your account being frozen for 72 hours. Mine was. The solution: Visit the 'Cancel Appointment' page. You will find something like the 'earliest available date'. If it is within what you want, simply go back to the reschedule page and then reschedule your appointment. Please don't cancel your appointment on the 'cancel page'!
Simply return to the reschedule page and then reschedule.
tried this now, on the cancel appointment page , it said “ the earliest appointment date is July 20 which is within my time frame” but when I went back to the reschedule page, it was November 2023 I saw, please how can I get past this? ] |

For me o , I will say don’t lie , he’s your brother , it won’t make sense if you lie and it comes out later that you lied .
