So, Tomorrow is my friend's birthday. I was thinking of the impact she has made in my life, when I remembered what happened during our undergraduate days. On that fateful day, during one of our exams I was seriously down with stomach cramps, that all I could do was keep rolling over my bed. I had an afternoon paper to write but the pains were so intense that I didn't know when I slept off. Luckily for me, I had a friend that cared though from different tribes, nature bonded us together as true friends. She was in another department though but in the same faculty but we were supposed to write the same course that afternoon. When it was time to start entering the halls for the exam, she'd looked across the hall and didn't see me to exchange our normal goodluck wishes. She asked some of my coursemates if I had already entered and they said no. It was then it dawned on her that there was fire on the mountain. She took permission from one of her lecturers, and off she zoomed to my hostel. She woke me up from my deep slumber, and we rushed down to the exam hall together. And by the time we reached, the answer script had already been shared but at least I didn't come 30minutes late which would have meant me not writing the exams. She sacrificed her relaxing mood for friendship. Thank God we both passed the exam. Dear B, I juz want to use this time to say, thanks for being my friend in deed, happy birthday, keep living. |
Say NO to Pre marital S*x
|
Definitely you'll feel bad, you are human that after 3years you are juz getting to know this very important information now. Although it is better knowing it now than years into the marriage. I know also that you'll be thinking that this guy's love is going to be divided between yourself and his child perhaps also his baby mama. Maybe he was feeling you might leave him and wanted you deep down into the relationship first. Let him know how bad you feel about keeping this kind of secret away from you. Let him assure you that there is nothing again going on between his baby mama and himself. He has to assure you there are no more skeletons in his cupboard. FINALLY, the innocent child deserves your love if and when the marriage pushes forth. What an ORUBEBE juz when everything was moving on fine, but in everything try to be JEGALIZED and make the right decision. |
My guys how market na? |

In my journey of life, I've come in contact with people who said "the reason I don't want to be very very rich is because the very rich always have problems". Given the fact that 90% of the very rich do have problems, why is it that people don't tend to see the 10% living happily? It's high time people stopped seeing the negativity of life but rather start seeing the positivity. What's your opinion, are the very rich always unhappy? Does it mean that the not very rich are not unhappy too? Finally, my advice strive to make the money first, and believe God that you'll be among the 10% living the good life with less problem, because as far as you are alive, everyone has his / her own share of problems. |

femojie: @ OP please clarify this: Is it living with his in-laws or living in one of their properties alone with wife and kid?seconded. If it's the former, there will be little or no respect for the man, mind you the heart is trickish, the in-laws may not show it but within them they don't respect him. Bt if it's the later maybe it is their wedding gift, who knows. |
Using bible verse(s) or any gospel song, let's inspire someone today. You can juz name the verse and song, or write down a little thing about it. Mine: "When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee." (Isaiah 43:2). The I AM FACTOR by Donald Lawrence "confess I am to turn sickness to health, confess I am to turn lack into wealth, the heaven responds the universe always when you say I Am" |
Hello Nairalanders! Here is one funny gist, i came across courtesy of a female undergraduate. Shows how confused most of our feminine counterparts can get sometimes and it's really irritating! Here it goes "Admin please hide my ID & post this for me. Because of the strike i stays at my mum's shop & i meet a guy (graduate) he stays near my mum's shop and i use to pass through his shop each time i want to go get some goods. This guy has been asking for my number for sometime now & i've been refusing him, later i collected his own & gave him a call that same day and told him to stop calling me any day i pass & also asked him if there is any other road i should follow apart from there line. He got upset with me, said that if not for the fact that he has not gotten a job that i won't have seen him there & promised that he will never call me & that he wouldn't even save my number & banged the call on me & i sent him a text that same day telling him that he just insulted me by banging the call on me even when am the one that called him, & he didn't reply my message. So since then, i do follow another way each time i want to pass through there line. But the problem now is that i have fallen for him. Note: i don't have a boyfriend, so please how do i get his attention back?" Piece of advice for her please because i myself i'm very much tempted to talk her down on such a shabby attitude... Seriously!
|
