Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has mocked Super Eagles players, Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi for displaying the Nigerian flag after Leicester’s FA Cup win against Chelsea on Saturday.


Ndidi and Iheanacho celebrated their win by displaying Nigerian flag for their first ever FA Cup title for Leicester.

However, Kanu reacting on his Twitter page described their action as shameful.

According to him, it shows the players do not support his agitation for the state of Biafra.

In the meantime, it's normal for the fans of other clubs to hate. When we were winning, we were simply doing what other club fans would do if twas their teams. So it's normal to see folks bragging and all that. Maybe Exception for man city who don't have that many fan base in Nigeria and NL.

They're non commissioned officers who are being cheated and u expect them not to complain? Look, I really don't blame the soldiers when I see them doing things that normally we as civilians do not like. But, they were given the orders, so blame the ones who gave them others, not these non commissioned officers who were left with no choice than to obey. It is the duty of a soldier to do as he is told even if it is killing his/her parents.
