OrlandoOwoh: Soldiers are trained with the belief that death can come at any time. The fear of death is strange to them. OP, you should be concerned about the future generation of Ndigbo that lost their lives through kwashiokor.Reread your post for substance, after reading, do you think you 're making any sense? |
Professor Ashton's comment falls a bit flat when you think of the billions that is spent on malaria research...perhaps again the cynical part of me might think that this is a plea for research funding... Ebola could potentially affect every single person on the planet, there's no white bias operating here, only in the proffessor's mind. |
The African Queen of track. Thank u for bringing joy and pride to the father land. |
What are we to believe, Lagos state govt or unconfirmed report? Duh! ![]() |
Stink Bomb! Does that mean it was a dirty bomb? lol on a serious note, strange how things work out sometimes - lives were saved due to his disgusting hygiene. "Life without parole" - The USA certainly have sensible sentencing. |
There was anger last night after it emerged militant group ISIS may have ordered compulsory female genital mutilation (FGM) for all women and girls in a region of Iraq now under its control. The extremist group has seized large swathes of the troubled country's northern regions and is now said to be imposing its hardline Sharia rules on the population. The United Nations expressed deep concern yesterday at reports all girls and women in and around city of Mosul are to being forced to undergo FGM procedures. A UN spokesman in Geneva said that they were seeking clarity and trying to establish the facts. Such a 'fatwa' issued by the Sunni Muslim fighters would potentially affect 4million women and girls, according to UN resident and humanitarian coordinator in Iraq Jacqueline Badcoc. 'We have current reports of imposition of a directive that all female girl children and women up to the age of 49 must be circumcised. 'This is something very new for Iraq, particularly in this area, and is of grave concern and does need to be addressed,' Badcock said. 'This is not the will of Iraqi people, or the women of Iraq in these vulnerable areas covered by the terrorists,' she added. Source - www.mailonline.com |

The question is, did Nigeria become better after the war? 44yrs after the guns went silent, are we better off? Are we building a nation based on equity, justice, religious freedom, economic prosperity? |
I thought they say don't interfere with politics? ![]() |
Congratulations! What a ray of hope and sunshine among all the darker news. Just as bright and hopeful as the boy's sunny outfit and the released woman's happy rainbow colored top. And these people have been through hell and back! And likewise, may the many challenges that the world community faces these days end up getting resolved in a positive, win-win way for all the parties involved. Free at last! And what a positive omen for the world, that this pope would certainly give his blessing to as well! |
There's an incredible amount of downed aircraft this year, both from unusual and malicious circumstances. It seems to me that it's a very dangerous time to fly on a plane. First Malaysia airline that disappears, then a plane is shot down over Ukraine, then a plane crashes in Taiwan and now this.. Not a good time to be up in the sky. |
Jeeez!!!! Can't even finish watching the video. My question is, how did we get here? |

It was a beaconed commercial airline. Clear as day on all radar. Putin has given weapons to children. It was obvious what would happen. A lot of power in little mens hands is a recipe for disaster. It is terrorism, plain and simple. |
How are they able to operate such sophisticated equipment but they cant distinguish between a fighter jet and a commercial plane. |
This is so freaking cool. Me likey. |
apolonius: Why are people giving themselves too much powers over another's choice of a wife? Is Peter not matured enough to make his choice of a bride freely? And to imagine that Jude took his dictator attitude to the level of being absent from Peter's wedding is plain stupidity.
