Congratulations President Trump! He has been nominated for Nobel Peace Prize by Norwegian official, citing Israel-UAE peace deal

Democrats will be crying all over the place in pain shouting their usual Nobel prize is white supremacists grin grin grin grin grin

Sleepless Night for the socialists

Anyone can nominate anyone else for the Nobel Peace Prize, it doesn't really mean anything until a recipient is actually chosen - and this year they've had 318 nominations, of which Donald Trump appears to be one. The winner won't be announced until next year October.

The committee won't publish the list of people/organizations nominated until 50 years have passed, neither the names of the nominators.

I thought Trump was nominated back in 2017 and the committee laughed then threw it away.

The nomination came from right-wing Norwegian politician Christian Tybring-Gjedde and relates to the ‘historic peace agreement’ between Israel and the United Arab Emirates.

Trump's ex-lawyer Cohen links Falwell’s endorsement in 2016 to suppression of racy photos

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-falwell-endorsement-idUSKBN25Z2S0

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - In his book released today, Michael Cohen, the former fixer for U.S. President Donald Trump, ties for the first time the 2016 presidential endorsement of Trump by American evangelical leader Jerry Falwell Jr to Cohen’s own role in helping to keep racy “personal” photographs of the Falwells from becoming public.

As Reuters reported last year, the Falwells enlisted Cohen to keep “a bunch of photographs, personal photographs” from becoming public, Cohen said in a recording, made surreptitiously by comedian Tom Arnold. “I actually have one of the photos,” he said, without going into specifics. “It’s terrible.”

In “Disloyal: The Memoir,” Cohen describes thinking that his involvement in the Falwell photo matter would be a “catch and kill” — the practice of American tabloids to obtain and then suppress unfavorable stories about celebrities — “but in this case it was just going to be kill.”

He later writes: “In good time, I would call in this favor, not for me, but for the Boss, at a crucial moment on his journey to the presidency.”

Cohen has said that he helped persuade Falwell to endorse Trump just before Republican voters gathered in Iowa in February 2016 to nominate a presidential candidate. Falwell not only publicly vouched for Trump’s Christian virtues but also barnstormed with the candidate. His backing of Trump — a twice-divorced candidate who had talked about grabbing women’s genitals and engaged in extramarital affairs — was one of the major surprises of the 2016 campaign.

In the book, Cohen doesn’t explicitly say that the endorsement was the favor he sought in return for his help in having kept the Falwell photos from getting out. But his account marks the first time he has linked the two issues.

Uneasy is the head that wears the crown.

The president is the president of the whole country. He is also the president of Antifa, even though they dont like him.

Bush started two unnecessary wars. Obama did not fold hands and complain that it was not his fault- Obama ended the wars
Bush created a financial crisis. Obama did not fold hand and complain that it was not his fault- Obama solved the crisis.

Now, there are BLM people and conservative instigators rioting in the streets. What has Trump done to stop them? Has he tried reasoning with them by addressing police brutality directly? Has he reached out to various black leaders on the other side (not his uncle toms in his party)?

History will only record that Trump was president during the riots.
I concur with your analysis

Greed, mutual hatred of Hillary Clinton drove Trump to seek Putin’s help in 2016, says Michael Cohen’s new book

Greed — not treason — drove President Trump to seek Vladimir Putin’s help in the 2016 election, ex-Trump fixer Michael Cohen says in his bombshell new book.

Trump wanted to build a 120-story tower in Moscow’s Red Square, with 30 floors devoted to a five-star hotel with an Ivanka Trump-branded spa, according to a report on Cohen’s book published by the Washington Post on Saturday.

Trump planned to give the penthouse apartment to the Putin for free “as a way to suck up” to him, Cohen writes.

“The whole idea of patriotism and treason became irrelevant in his mind,” Cohen writes. “Trump was using the campaign to make money for himself: of course he was.”

Trump and Putin were united in their hatred of Hillary Clinton, Cohen says. He notes that Putin was angry with Clinton for her support of mass protests against him in 2011.

“What appeared to be collusion was really a confluence of shared interests in harming Hillary Clinton in any way possible, up to and including interfering in the American election — a subject that caused Trump precisely zero unease,” Cohen wrote.

Cohen’s book, “Disloyal: A Memoir,” is to be published Tuesday.

In a statement to the Washington Post, the White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany attacked Cohen’s credibility: “Michael Cohen is a disgraced felon and disbarred lawyer, who lied to Congress. He has lost all credibility, and it’s unsurprising to see his latest attempt to profit off of lies.”

If ever there will be a film about Trump, Hollywood have got more than enough resources for production.
