Trump was responding to Birx’s Sunday interview with CNN’s Dana Bash, where the White House Coronavirus Task Force coordinator faced questions about the recent surge in Covid-19 cases around the country. Birx also used the opportunity to respond to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who reportedly accused her of helping Trump spread pandemic misinformation.

Trump’s tweet comes a day after White House Director of Strategic Communications Alyssa Farah rebuked Pelosi by calling it “deeply irresponsible” and “wrong” to “repeatedly try to undermine & create public distrust in Dr. Birx.”

Attorney Alan Dershowitz defended himself from sex abuse claims Friday after his name appeared in a slew of unsealed documents related to a since-settled defamation case involving Ghislaine Maxwell.

The emeritus Harvard Law professor was accused of having sex with then-minor “Jane Doe #3” — identified in court documents as Virginia Roberts Giuffre — and witnessing Jeffrey Epstein and others sexually abusing girls and young women.

The allegations, lodged in a 2014 court filing, reemerged in more than 600 pages unsealed Thursday night in Giuffre’s 2015 defamation case against Maxwell.

Dershowitz claims the document dump exonerates him.

A brutal new video from MeidasTouch PAC mocks President Donald Trump for another of his broken promises from the 2016 campaign.

Starting in 2015, Trump maintained that the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare, should be killed and that he would replace it with something better. The problem is that at no time in the 10 years Republicans have tried to undermine the law have they been able to create an alternative.

“Obamacare. We’re going to repeal it, we’re going to replace it, get something great. Repeal it, replace it, get something great!” Trump said in 2015 at an event at the American Airlines Center in Dallas.

“We’re going to have insurance for everybody,” Trump said in a 2017 interview with The Washington Post. “There was a philosophy in some circles that if you can’t pay for it, you don’t get it. That’s not going to happen with us.”

Republicans have effectively defunded much of the program by eliminating the health insurance mandate, leaving Democrats with a list of things they’ll need to restore and alter when the U.S. Senate falls back into Democratic hands.

It has become clear that the GOP has little interest in a healthcare bill. When they held both the House and the Senate, they weren’t capable of crafting any legislation that their own party could agree with.

In PA, Biden's home state, this is already turned back to blue for Biden. So the only state left is Florida and we know the current situation in that state. Biden is more or less in a tie with Trump, including TX which is already confirmed a purple state. Trump's chances are quite limited for now.

To the 'uncertified' MAGA folks on nairaland, it will take a massive turnaround of mega proportion for Trump to win in Nov. This is well known to him and his campaign, hence his suggestion last week about postponing the election in Nov and giving other excuses about fraud to mail voting.
