Update on the get together!!

From popular demand, and suggestions garnered through all channels, I am here to inform y'all that the get together has been Postponed to Thursday, January 21st, 2021. The Venue still remained Jamrock Cuisine, lekki -Epe expressway after Elaganza bus stop when coming from the Mainland.

The shift of date was necessitated because of activities lined up for almost everyone of us taking cognizance of persons traveling this week and the wedding ceremony of one of us (Bishop). And again, the thirst for surge cannot be dampened whatsoever.

The organisers pleadingly seek everyone's advantage before this conclusion was reached and we together we can do to this.

The account is still open and the fee for food alone is 1,800. Please pay up so we can all do things together.

Hoping this meets you well.... We move!
Best decision by the organising Committee
I suggested January b4 but was greatly surprise to see 20th December, on a Sunday for that matter during festive periodhuh?

Its good it was re-considered.

Na today I know why some drivers dey assault riders. Picked this Olosho from Osapa London to Elegishi area this morning. Trip ended 1100, she now said she wants to transfer. I said ok during the transaction I got another trip, called the rider that I'm trying to collect a transfer he should bare with me, he agreed. After like 3 mins this girl was just fiddling with her fone complaining of network. I now told her to use my hotspot. She said it was not working, that 2 of her banks app have network issue. I now told her she should have told me it's transfer she wanted to do, the next thing that came out of her mouth is why am i talking like an illetrate that I'm the one supposed to ask before the trip of its cash or transfer. I just laughed and told her she doesn't know what she is talking about and she shouldn't insult me. She said I'm the one insulting myself that I should not say it outside. All these while I was trying to control myself because I stutter when I'm angry. I told her no Wahala let her borrow money from someone, she said nobody ok let's go to an ATM , she doesn't use ATM card. I now got angry that she should find away to pay, the stupid girl now said I should come tomorrow that I'm just wasting my time and I should go for my other trip. My head just dey raise fire small, I now called the new rider that he should cancel and explained to him. I now put off my app told her I'm ready to wait for that money, anyhow e go be my money go come out. She now called one of her friends and was explaining to her, she now repeated that illetrate statement, I don't know when i flared up opened my back door did like i was going to grab her phone and shake her a little. The girl still dey raise voice saying She will blow me. Some of her neighbours and alaye's were now trying to calm me down. One of her neighbours that has a store ended up paying for her. Anytime I get request and see say na Olosho my moral dey always drop. Ive been taking alot of side comments lately
o ma ga ooo! So poor illiterate and hoodlums driver's like us should now ask if it's cash or transfer againhuh

Aiit, we move!

Bolt rating is meant to manipulate the driver

to make money for them at all cost.

The moment the machine /algorithm sees that you are not making money for them evidenced by constant cancellations / refusal to pick orders.

The app starts dropping your ratings, so that it has a justification to push you out of the system.

Once, it appears you have repented grin and you now pick more orders, it will put a halt on the expulsion process.
Strongly disagree with this... My bolt commission two weeks ago was above 22k, fast forward to present week, 17k+ that's because I didn't work on Monday and Tuesday... Not working today as. I almost hit the 22trips threshold for the 7k bonus if not for my car breakdown.

Their system is just bad generally born just the rating alone.

Where have you been tho, good to hear from you.

if he was attacked and robbed, then vehicle stolen from him, he shouldn't be detain.

But if he park it somewhere and vehicle was stolen from him, he has to be detain for 24hours, that is standard procedure for investigation and must be release.on bail within 48hours, then investigation continue. Make sure police wont pressure him write something incriminating, he should just state exactly how it happen.

If they find strong evidence linking him to the crime, then they will have to get a court order to continue his detention for couple of weeks, or even a month.
this Bros have seen things. But I wonder y you talk like a small boy sometimes... Could it be for fun?

Wetin man go do na. Surge go dey everywhere, bolt go dey give you non surge trip with 22 minutes pick up distance. The destination self no be even where surge dey.

When the rider calls and you say you're not going, out of annoyance he'll tell you to cancel.
This is what I now tell riders when I accept unfavorable request I wouldn't want to embark on.

If rider doesn't call immediately after I'd accepted tye request I wouldn't want to go, I arrive then start waiting.

If rider eventually calls these are some of my responses;

My car just developed a fault please request another ride.
Take for instance if rider and I are in Isaac John Ikeja, I say, "ha! Me I'm in jibowu, oshodi, stadium oh". I give them one far distance. No one will tell them to cancel on their own.

But, should the person not cancel afterwards I wait 5min n then cancel. To me this is where I think I prefer driving with Bolt. But with Uber? Omo those guys are the greatest hoodlums though I'm still their president grin. It's either you cancel or you drive to PU and cancel after 5min because most of their riders will never want to cancel... na there I go know say Nigerians value money grin

I really don't know how things work with them now because they give me 600yrs grin...yeye people

Can some explain why the rating keep dropping veryfast. Mine from 4.90 to 4.48 yesterday n today
Bolt rating system is a total nonsense... How could oncebrating drop from 4.78 to 4.28 in just 3days? I barely did 16trips within these 3days. Before the drop my rating rises from 4.58 to 4.78 and the next thing was a sky drop.

Its like I'll change my mood of operation going forward, any time in get a request and the name is Eastern, Jennifer, Sharon, or any of those flashy names I will just accept, arrive and cancel after 5min... No time for bad energy.

grin grin I kind of have faith you will get ur money, but from a brotherly advice, next time try to report to uber within d space of 24 hrs, no matter the intent of the rider, b on d safe side, let him/her b d one doing the explanation.
When this issue was first brought up here this was my advice to the young man and I see no reason why he still didnt report the issue to Uber but allowed it to linger this long before reporting.

Lets learn to take advice from experience people, me once i don't get paid on Uber I drive out of the point, park in a safe place then report the case instantly.

I've had an issue with payment from a lady i took to banana island (I supposed), she did transfer to me and money didn't reflect, she left and I was still parked outside her compound for like 15-25min no alert. I immediately reported to Uber. About 30min later this lady she called that the money had been reversed so i should text my details with out her knowing I'd already reported to Uber. 2-3min later I got alert of my money. Another 45min or there about she called complaining she can't make any request and in a hurry to go out if I'd reported to Uber and i told her yes because drivers are always advices to do so b4 COB for immediate resolution.

I reverse to Uber that I've received payment and the matter was resolve.

It is still same riders on bolt and uber, just as drivers.
It is the regulations from each app company that determine riders' and drivers' conducts.

I want to believe you got me wrong, or maybe I didn't put the statement right.

Yes, I still maintain most ladies from that region are the once that gives drivers problem the most. If you're a driver I'm sure you can relate.

Mind you I'm not from the SW so don't bring tribalism to this. Some SE ladies top my list of trouble makers and 1star giving riders. It's saddens my heart bro.

You are free to disagree, I'll respect your opinion.
