Marbella003:
I have a main account but I decided to create this one to post this in order to avoid embarrassment or reveal my identity.

I got married 4 years ago to my husband. He was in his 40s and I was in my 20s. The age difference between us has never really been a problem as we are both educated, well spoken, have similar personalities and share a lot of interests, and as a result we mesh well. My husband is a very caring and thoughtful man. This is one of the traits that made me fall helplessly for him, along with his intelligence and fun personality. I will not reveal anything pertaining to kids as this might punch a hole in my wall of anonymity.

I've always loved my husband and I still do. But I've never really been sexually attracted to him. This is not to say that I find him unattractive. No. He is okay as far as physical appearance goes, but his look has never been the kind to turn me on sexually. To put it plainly, I find that I'm only sexually attracted to young men around my age with tall, athletic bodies and with the energy and agility to please a woman satisfyingly in the bedroom. I met this kind of man in my work place and after we talked a few times I couldn't help but become attracted to him. I realized he was also attracted me, and fast forward to a week ago, we had sex in a hotel room.

I'm ashamed to admit that sex with him was glorious, but it truly was. It was better than anything I had ever done with my husband. I loved how he tossed me around the bed and did stuff to me that my husband doesn't do and I liked how ever part of his body felt firm and strong. After the act I felt a wave of shame wash over me. I recognized that I had committed an atrocity and I knew I had broken my marriage vows. The guilt of what I had done followed me around like a stench. I hated myself for betraying a man that had always loved and cared for me.

The problem I now face is that despite the guilt and the shame I constantly feel, I still yearn to experience another period of sexual bliss with my colleague. I can't help it. I'm torn. I already told my colleague that that one time was the last but deep down I don't want it to be. I know that if I tell my husband about what I did, that it would mark the end of my relationship with my colleague, but I don't know exactly how my husband would receive this information. I don't want him to look at me and see a betrayer of trust; a woman lacking integrity and virtue. No. I even thought of resigning from my job or requesting a transfer so as not to be in close proximity with my colleague but I know that wouldn't solve anything as I still have his social media info and occasionally stalk him(yes I do). I'm so conflicted. I don't know what to do.

Crime / Re: Chinese Bank Programmer Steals Millions From ATM Using Loophole (Pics) by fellyman: 8:14pm On Feb 06, 2019
Raychux23:
Bank programmer stole millions from ATM using loophole

This sound more like a feat seen in movies “bank programmer stole millions from ATM using loophole”. But it actually did happen as confirmed by both The South China Morning Post and Daily Economic News. The bank programmer exploited and finds a loophole to withdraw $1 million in cash from his bank ATM. Can this just happen in one night raid? No, no bank ATM can house such a huge amount of money. In fact, the average sized ATM machine can hold as much as $200,000, although only few machines do. But in off hours, most ATM machines contain less than $10,000. This is as a result of withdrawal during the day and a good security measure. For most ATM thefts happen during off hours.

Back to the question “how was he able to withdraw such a huge amount from a machine with limited cash deposit”. Could he possible had stolen the money from several machines and accumulated the sums? No, he actually did find a loophole and exploited his discovery for years.

Qin Qisheng, a 43 years old senior programmer working with Huaxia Bank’s technology development centre in Beijing, China. He discovered a loophole in his bank’s core system. The discovery was that the bank’s system couldn’t properly record withdrawals made from the machine around midnight, due to time and date change from one day to another. This resulted in the machine spitting out cash without deducting the withdraw amount from a user’s account. This system failure normally will log an error report on the bank’s system.

On discovery this as a programmer and his job was to report such abnormalities and system failures. Qisheng instead inserted a scripts (computer program file) into the bank’s system to keep those alert unreported to the system. He afterwards started withdrawing money from the machine around November 2016 to January 2018 with a total of 1,358 withdrawals amounting to over 7 million yuan ($1 million upwards). He was apprehended when the bank later discovered the program script he inserted in the system with traces to him.

Aftermath of his arrest

The bank decided to let go of the charges against him on the condition that he would return the money. They also did ask the police to drop the charges leveled against Qisheng. Their explanation was that Qisheng as a programmer to the bank was merely testing the bank’s system vulnerability and holding onto the cash to be later given back to the bank.

The Chaoyang district court refused the bank’s plea and found him guilty. They didn’t accept the bank’s explanation and Qisheng was charged for theft. For he moved the stolen funds to his personal bank account, instead of the bank’s dummy account and did invest some amount in the stock market. The bank did so, simply to hide its face from publicity scandal since the loophole has already been fixed.

Qisheng was supposed to be the good guy and report any lapses discovered about the system, but he took advantage of it. He is now looking at 10 and half jail sentence after losing his court appeal.

Politics / Re: Fact Check: Who Started The Lagos - Ibadan Railway Project? by fellyman: 7:46pm On Feb 06, 2019
Fixed match[/quo
Just as the popular saying goes, "The Internet never forgets". At a time when we are a cross-road and when we are in between truth and fallacy, it is expedient we dig out some truth and we separate the wheat from the chaff.

The Lagos-Ibadan Railway project has been a subject among the APC and PDP loyalists. While PDP insists that the project was started, designed and awarded by the PDP government, APC seems to have another side of the story. APC insists that the project was started, executed and designed by the Buhari-led administration and this has been a tussle of discussion in the social media and in the dailies as well.

AutoReportNG has been following the Lagos-Ibadan Railway since its inception and now it has reached its 70% conclusion stage, we can say, we are at liberty to cross-check and have a say on this interesting topic.

To those in the political scene, they will remember that the minister of transportation, Mr. Rotimi Ameachi has been working tirelessly virtually on a regular basis, he will come to inspect the railway and ask the contractors how they are faring and the challenges they encounter. The APC has guided this project as its baby and so they won't want any stain to rubbish it.

A close check into this shows that the project was awarded 28th August 2012 during the former President Jonathan led administration.

We will quote some dailies that reports about this signing for a clear view.

Abuja — FEDERAL Government, yesterday, signed a Memorandum of Understanding of $ 1.5billion Lagos - Ibadan rail project with Messrs CCECC Nigeria Limited.

The Federal Executive Council had on July 2012 approved Lagos - Ibadan Standard Gauge Track on double formation, covering a distance of 156.65km, totaling 313.30km double track in favour of the company, in the sum of US$1, 487, 782, 196.00, all taxes inclusive.

ThisDay

The Federal Government yesterday disclosed that it had signed a $1.49 billion contract with China for the construction of the Lagos-Ibadan Standard Gauge Rail Double Track.

The rail line with Double Formation under Addendum No. 2 (2nd segment) is for the modernisation of the Lagos-Kano railway project.

It also approved other contracts covering the transport, power and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Briefing journalists in company of his colleagues after the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting in Abuja, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Bala Mohammed, Trade and Investment, Olusegun Aganga, Transport, Idris Umar, Power, Bart Nnaji, and Urban and Housing Development, Ama Pepple, the Minister of Information, Labaran Maku, said council approved contracts including the implementation of Addendum No. 2 (2nd segment: Lagos-Ibadan to the main contract for the railway modernisation project (Phase 1; Lagos-Kano).

Messrs China Civil Engineering Construction Company Nig Ltd which clinched the job, is expected to complete the project in 36 months.
The variation of the scope of work for the contract for design and construction of Abuja Rail Mass Transit Project (Lots 1&3) from the initial work span of 60.67km to 45.245km (Lots 1A &3) upped the amount payable from $841,645,898.00 to $823,540,545.87 payable at the prevailing exchange rate inclusive of 5 per cent VAT and 5 per cent variation on prices.

“The contract is in favour of Messrs China Civil Engineering and Construction Corporation (CCECC), with a completion period of 36 months”, Maku said.

Nigeria: Railway Modernisation - FG Signs Contract Agreement With Chinese Company

As part of the Federal Government commitments to transform the railway sub-sector, it has signed a contract agreement with CCECC Nigeria for the construction of the Lagos to Ibadan double track.

The Minister of Transport Senator Idris Umar hinted that the Addendum No. 2:Lagos to Ibadan Double track is a double formation to the main contact for the modernisation phase 1 project even as he recalled that on the 18th July 2012, the Federal Executive Council approved in favour of Messrs CCECC Nigeria Limited the sum of $1,487,782,196.00.

Nigeria Signs U.S.$1.49 Billion Railway Deal With China

The Federal Government yesterday said it had signed a $1.49 billion contract with China Civil Engineering Construction Company (CCECC) to build a railway between Lagos and Ibadan.

The contract has a completion period of 36 months

For more, you can check on this link AllAfrica News

From all these articles, it can be said that the government of Pres. Jonathan initiated and signed the Lagos-Ibadan Railway Project which was meant to last for 3 years. According to the contract, the project is meant to start in 2012 and end in 2015 but due to how the government works, the APC led government inherited it and started work.

While credit must be given to both PDP and APC for this project: PDP for having the mind to think of connecting 3 states together using railway and thereby making the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway free of traffic and signing the contract with CCECC and APC led government for making sure they finish up what the PDP government started.

We hope this analysis will end the argument of whether the Lagos-Ibadan Rail Project was either APC or PDP. No matter which party started it, Nigeria comes first.

God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

These are some of the constructions across the 3 states
