Romance › Re: Girls Think Men Are Easy Until It's Time To Get Married (Photo) by femi4: 10:19pm On Dec 02, 2024
Gistmedia10:
Social media user ThatBlessedGirl stirred online conversations with her post:

"Girls will think men are easy and cheap to get. Until it’s time to get married. You’ll realise that commitment from men might even require you to go to Shiloh." shocked

This statement highlights the challenges women face when seeking long-term commitment from men, particularly in the context of marriage. The mention of Shiloh, a well-known annual Christian prayer retreat, implies the level of spiritual dedication some may feel is necessary to secure a serious commitment. shocked

Netizens flooded the comment section with divided opinions. Some agreed, sharing personal experiences of how men often hesitate to commit, while others felt it unfairly placed blame on women.
Boy friend n girl friend commitments na child's play compare to that of husband n wife

People should try and find out the condition of the person they are wishing happy birthday on Facebook.

They haven't chatted with the person for years neither did they call.

They didn't even go through the timeline of the person properly but when the person's birthday appears on Facebook, they will be wishing happy birthday.

They will end up wishing late People happy birthday every year.
There is nothing wrong in it, after all people dey do happy posthumous birthday

➜The olden days before or after the Assyrians destroyed Israel more than 3000 years ago?
➜Abi the olden days before the Romans finally decimated the nation of Judea almost 1900 years ago?
➜Abi the olden days before the Roman Empire was taken apart about 1600 years ago?
➜Or was it during the Dark Ages when Christianity and Islam pillaged and destroyed all those who stood in their way and the world was scourged by war and disease?
➜or was it the olden days before Hitler when right after World War I, the great depression hit and World War II followed?
➜Abi na the olden days around the time of the Biafran war when neighbors butchered neighbors, friends killed friends, and many raped and pillaged that which belonged to people they had known and even grown up with?
➜ abi na the olden days of the 70s when Adeboye shifted full-time from being a college professor to a full-time career scamming and lying to Nigerians using the name of a foreign God whom he knows and cares nothing about?
➜Or the olden days of Babangida and Abacha?
➜Or was it the olden days when Tinubu was governor of Lagos State after which we began seeing the political side of the man, Adeboye?

When?😩😩😩😩

diamond68:
Now it's no secret among Nigerians living in the UK that the hardest time you will get in the UK will be from a fellow Nigerian. They bone you on the street, look at you in anger, you greet them they don't greet back, you work with them they try to get you fired, they see you in a train and don't want to sit next to you etc etc. It's very fascinating to observe this behaviour . So why does this happen ?

It's very important to understand that the landmAss called Nigeria is just a geographic location like everywhere else on the planet. If you evicted all 200 million Nigerians from that location and filled it up with whites or Chinese, in under 50 years Nigeria will be transformed to a first world paradise and the whole world would want to japa into Nigeria because imagine a first world country that's blessed with that much resources and it's managed well ? It would be the ultimate pAradise on earth. Nigeria has the potential to be the ultimate pAradise on earth . So it's not the country that's the problem, it's the people.

When someone japas out of Nigeria he is running away from the people not the country. And when he sees the same people in the UK he trieS to run away from them. He tries to japa from them. He does not want to associate with them. It's the same people he japA from in Africa. In his mind he associates these people with corruption and violence and brashness and mismanagement and stealing and incompetence. So the Nigerian tries to japa from the Nigerian everywhere he sees him outside of Nigeria
They always want you to greet them first. You will speak pidgin to them and they will respond in English forming nonsense. Especially those student visa people

LocalFARMERS:
This is the simple method I used to cook Goat head with bitter leaf. Few weeks ago, I went to drink on a weekend. I asked for pepper soup, they said it's finished. That, they only have Goat head. I ordered for a plate of Goat head and I like how it was prepared.

They did not prepare it like the usual Isiewu that is prepared with the Goat brain. In this case the brain is removed and they added bitter leaf. Few days later, I went to the market and buy 2 Goat heads. Which I used to prepare a replica of what I was served at the Bar.

Episode22:
Hello Nairalanders, I'm not here to brag, I just need advice before I get lost.

I have two relatives living abroad (UK), both are from my mothers side, same father and same mother...

Just few days ago, I was called and told that they are making plans to send me to the UK early next year to go and stay with my uncle and find something doing there... they already communicated with my uncle abroad, and they just wanted to surprise me.

I'm 29 years old now, I graduated from school last two years as a petroleum engineering. Though, I'm not doing any work for now. My girlfriend is pregnant for me, and I have not disclosed it to anybody yet.

But the truth is that my mind doesn't want to go, I'm not ready and I have told them. They have already started telling me this is a one time opportunity, and that if I miss it, I won't see it again, but I have made up my mind that I don't want to go.

I just can't leave my friends here, I just don't know but I can't..

I need advice,

Why should I go, when my self and my mind is not ready...
Look at the silly excuse for not leaving. You will be shock that in 5yrs time your friends will leave you behind

I thought DBN was the first private TV station in Nigeria, or was it clapperboard? undecided
It was ahead of dbn by few months, both started alone in 96.

Before then, dbn n nta were in partnership for many years

Clapperboard was with ltv 8 , didn't standalone until 1997, disappeared then later rebranded as superscreen. I doubt if they still exist

Worth mentioning was cabetel , it came around in 95 but switched to being Nigeria first paytv
