Things of God cannot be twisted.
This is why I have some respect for Islam. They know that religion is sacred, and they try to keep it that way.
But you self-acclaimed overly-educated Western-wannabes have bastardised the body of Christ.
We used to take the church to the world; now the world resides inside the church. Show me what was twisted? Baddie is an english word which you wrongly defined |

Angel go soon blow trumpet geskia!! End time don pass A church baddie is a confident, stylish woman who is not ashamed of the Gospel Act 11:26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch. |

MrPresident1: Jesus Christ is not a proper noun, like the name of anybody. It is just a codeword for the man anointed of the LORD, the eternal King of Israel.
In mathematics, when you are given an unknown value x in an equation and have to solve for x, the value that fulfils all the parameters of the equation for the unknown x is the x we were looking for.
Jesus Christ is from the loins of David, born of the virgin Mary He is the word that became flesh The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. |

Blue86: What we have is : 1. A glorious church ( Ephesians 5:27 ) 2 A Wise church ( Colossians 4:5 ) 3 A ready church ( Matthew 25:10 ) 4 A Holy Church ( Ephesians 5:27 ) 5 A Church with the manifestations of the Holy Spirit ( 1 Corinthians 12:7 ).
Any person referring to themselves as a church baddie is just saying, I am a church goer who believes in Jesus but with the touch of nasty and crazy things in the world.
Such are not the glorious, wise, powerful, holy and ready bride to be presented to God finally. Why not check the meaning of baddie first A baddie is a slang term for a confident, stylish, and attractive person (usually a woman) |

chieveboy: No. This is not happening.
As important as this idea is presented by the person who is said to write this in the bible, Jesus himself would have hammered on this when he was around.
No instance of Jesus ever saying this himself. If this was his mission, someone else should not be the one to tell people this many years after he was gone.
Imagine being sent to a people to tell them this truth, only for you to never mentioning "accept me as your lord and savior" till you die?
How would the people have heard your message? Will you ask your father to burn them in hell too, having met you, but you never delivered the message?
So many things inside that book with people eating onions for Jesus. He said it. Infact the word hell first came out in new testament |
Politics › Re: Who Is Likely To Win The Lagos Governorship Election In 2027? by femi4: 7:39am On Oct 25 |
AriseNewsLG: Obafemi Hamzat has the strongest structural position among declared candidates, based on his executive experience and the APC's statewide organization. No reliable 2027 opinion poll exists yet, so this is a judgment about structure, not a forecast of the result.
Who are the main candidates? The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) published its final candidate list in October 2026. Among the leading contenders are Hamzat for the APC and Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour for the African Democratic Congress (ADC). Rhodes-Vivour contested the 2023 governorship election as the Labour Party candidate. Other parties have also fielded candidates, so the race is not a two-person contest.
Being on the ballot does not make a candidate a strong contender. Party structure, voter recognition, past results, resources, and alliances all matter.
What is Hamzat's record? Hamzat has been Deputy Governor of Lagos State since 2019 and was re-elected in 2023. He has worked under Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu throughout. Before that, he held the Science and Technology and the Works and Infrastructure portfolios.
His record is strongest in digital government. During his time as Commissioner for Science and Technology, he was associated with digital government initiatives. His infrastructure record is harder to isolate. Major public works are delivered by many agencies and administrations, so it would be inaccurate to credit him personally with every project in the period.
As deputy governor, he shares the administration's record, including the budget constraints on major projects. The Fourth Mainland Bridge, for example, had not started construction as of April 2026. In late 2024, Hamzat said the initial budget had tripled and that talks with contractors were continuing.
He has the endorsement of Governor Sanwo-Olu, announced in April 2026. The APC's Governor's Advisory Council later adopted him as its consensus candidate.
What is the strongest case against him? Hamzat's experience is also his main exposure. Voters can reasonably ask why problems such as traffic, flooding, housing affordability, waste management, and the cost of doing business persist after years of government in which he has served.
He has answered with specific commitments: a stated goal of shorter commutes for residents of four named areas, a pledge to harmonize and enforce levies, and a plan to digitize land administration. Those commitments will be tested against results.
The opposition's strongest argument is that continuity means more of the same. Rhodes-Vivour's 2023 result showed that a substantial share of Lagos voters were willing to back an alternative, and his ADC candidacy is a fresh test of whether that support holds.
Can the running mate change the outcome? A running mate can broaden a ticket's appeal, strengthen local networks, and add policy credibility. It rarely compensates for weak party organization or a candidate who does not connect with voters. The effect depends on the candidate and the campaign.
So who is likely to win? Based on current evidence, Hamzat has the strongest structural case: executive experience, the ruling party's statewide structure, and the backing of the sitting governor. That makes him the candidate to beat. It is not a guarantee. A united opposition, turnout, and how voters judge the current administration's record could all change the outcome.
The fair test for every candidate is the same: how their promises will be funded, how long they will take, and how progress will be measured. Hamzat should be judged on his stated commitments, and on whether the results show up in residents' daily lives.
