Family › Re: Man Shares Outcome After His Cousin Went To Their Uncle For Financial Support. by femi4: 7:04am On Oct 22
Easyincome24:
An X user, @alAnyawuMalachy, shared a story about his cousin which has left people talking on whether the uncle did what is good or not.

Here is the content of the post:

"My cousin got admission last year and went to our uncle for financial help.

Instead, uncle told him he doesn't have such money but offered him a deal: defer admission and remit N35k weekly from using one of his motorcycles.

My cousin felt b#d that day but eventually accepted the offer.

Now he l's gotten admission again and went to see our uncle.

Uncle handed him an ATM card and told him to withdraw the entire N35k he remitted weekly since that last year (over 52 weeks) he has been using the motor cycle to sort out his school stuff.

Do the maths."
A wicked uncle

He lost the first admission cos he has a silly uncle
Family › Re: Over Borrowing By Neighbors by femi4: 7:01am On Oct 22
Jozilinn:
There is something bothering me and even as I'm typing this there is no auta of happiness in me. My elder sister has made it an habit of giving out things to neighbors and sometimes it makes it hard for me especially when I am in need of that particular thing. They'll borrow big pot for a whole 2 weeks sometimes when we want to cook there'll be no big pot to use and when you go to their house to knock they'll say they are using it.

To the extent that if I collect that thing they'll come back at night to collect it back. This morning she was complaining that a neighbor wanted to carry pot and saw the onions we hid and took two. Now here's the most annoying part they'll mention the amount of things they want like four pure water, three onions, three Maggi even the gas doesn't last us to a month. And these are paying Ajo and doing pledges in various groups.

I know one that is doing Ajo of 50k to get 500k the time I was working in my former job and I was earning 45k she will say I should do her card now,or small data because I sell data but I don't do it anymore because no profit. I will tell her I don't have she's earning if not mistaken 200k and she's buying wigs and perfumes and skin care and hair care products but immediately they pay her she is broke but has money to spend on herself.

I don't want to sound rude but they're making me feel bad,and I don't want it to be like I'm getting frustrated or anything but it is not right.
I couldn't even boil water this morning because the kettle wasn't in our room. I have told her it's her fault because she has also been complaining about the fact that they don't knock our room and my cousin sister said I should leave her because there was a time she refused to give someone block from the fridge saying she cannot force it out and my sister started shouting that the should give the person.

Her friend who was inside the room with us angrily went to the fridge and forced it out to give to the man and said she is two sided and doesn't know what's doing her. Can you imagine that one of our neighbors went to the market bought onions and grinded everything while coming to borrow onions from us every day morning, afternoon and evening.

We're contributing to buy this things because where we stay food stuff are very expensive,I was even complaining to someone that when I wasn't paid salary it was hard for me to feed because if I go to someone for credit especially one lady at my house she'll frown face and this is someone I buy something from in a regular. Sometimes she'll say that thing is not available but she'll sell to someone else in my presence.

The one wey pain me pass na egg she collected the egg from me and said it's remaining only two and she wants to go and buy new one so she can't give me credit.

So you can see why I'm very angry with everything that's going on I don't want to fight anyone because I don't want to bring myself so low I don't care what they'll say but it is getting out of hand and inconvening me
Its either you are big enough to say no or you dash them n buy another one

Romance › Re: "I Got Married To A Man My Friend Rejected" — Woman Shares Her Story by femi4: 10:57pm On Oct 21
[quote author=EmmyMaestro post=140970698]"I got married to a man my friend rejected" — Woman shares her story

A woman has sparked reactions online after revealing how she married a wealthy businessman her friend allegedly rejected, only to face accusations of betrayal and alleged attempts to ruin her marriage.

In a viral video shared on X (formerly Twitter), the woman recounted how the relationship began, explaining that her friend dated the man in 2023 but repeatedly told her she was not interested in him.

“My friend used to tell me that she doesn’t like the man. She was just there for the benefits because the man was still turning up for her whenever she needed him,” she said.

According to her, her friend disliked the man’s dressing and Igbo accent, claiming she could not introduce someone like him as her husband.

How she met her friend’s former partner
The woman explained that she lived with her friend at the time and frequently saw the man whenever he visited.

She said he was deeply in love with her friend, but the relationship did not progress because the friend was not serious about him.

She recalled that her friend had complained about the man’s appearance and manner of speaking.

“She said she doesn’t like the way the man dresses. She doesn’t like the way the man talks because the man is an Igbo man and he has this Igbo accent,” she said.

The woman added that her friend eventually lost the opportunity to pursue the relationship when the man stopped visiting.

About six months later, she said she unexpectedly ran into him at a shopping mall, where they exchanged pleasantries and shared contact details.

They subsequently began communicating on WhatsApp, allowing her to discover his personality.

“That’s when I discovered that this man is actually very funny, kind and he’s also a giver,” she said.

Woman discovers businessman’s wealth

According to her, she later discovered that the man was a successful businessman who owned six cars and a house.

She said she had not realised the extent of his wealth when he was dating her friend.

“This man was filled to the brim. He was into important business. You know, this big Igbo businessman. He had six cars and a house already,” she said.

The woman explained that their friendship gradually developed into a romantic relationship, and they eventually got married.

She admitted, however, that she did not inform her friend about the relationship until after their marriage introduction had taken place.

She said she eventually informed her friend about her decision to marry the businessman, but the revelation allegedly triggered a dispute between them.

Friend allegedly accuses her of being a gold digger

The woman claimed that her friend began insulting her, calling her names and accusing her of being a gold digger.

She also alleged that the friend told other people she had stolen her life, a claim she questioned because, according to her, the friend had previously rejected the businessman.

“She has been insulting me, calling me all sorts of names, that I’m a gold digger and all. She even went on to tell people that I stole her life,” she said.

The situation reportedly escalated when the friend allegedly began contacting her husband and making claims about the woman’s past.

According to her, the friend accused her of previously engaging in hookup activities and repeatedly called her husband with information she believed was intended to damage their marriage.

She maintained that her friend had every opportunity to be with the businessman but had chosen not to pursue the relationship.

“She had every opportunity to be with him, but she said she didn’t want him,” the woman said.

Woman speaks on alleged attempts to destroy her marriage

Expressing frustration over the situation, the woman said she understood that her friend might feel betrayed because she eventually married someone the friend had dated.

However, she maintained that the alleged repeated calls to her husband had gone too far.

“I understand that she feels betrayed by her friend, but calling my husband repeatedly, trying to destroy my marriage is getting too much,” she said.

The woman added that she had made several attempts to resolve the dispute, including asking other people to intervene, but the situation remained unresolved.

“I’ve begged her, called people to even beg her. I don’t even know what to do anymore,” she said.

STATEHOUSE PRESS RELEASE

PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES SENATOR RABIU KWANKWASO AT 70

My warm congratulations to my friend Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, former Governor of Kano State, one-time Minister of Defence and former Senator representing Kano Central Senatorial District, on his 70th birthday on October 21, 2026.

Senator Kwankwaso and I have had a longstanding association, dating back to our time in the National Assembly in 1992, he in the House of Representatives and I in the Senate, and later in 1999 when we both emerged as governors of our respective states.

As members of the Class of '99 Governors, we both played pivotal roles in laying the foundation for the democracy the nation enjoys today.

Shaped by different political choices, our political paths differed until we coalesced in 2013 to form the All Progressives Congress. Since then, history and service have kept us intertwined.

I must acknowledge Senator Kwankwaso's immense contributions to Kano State and Nigeria as a two-term Governor, former Minister of Defence, former Senator, former presidential candidate, and now a presidential running mate.

Senator Kwankwaso remains an influential figure and a progressive politician.

That we are in different political parties and competing on different platforms in the January 2027 election will not remove my affection for Senator Kwankwaso.

As the former governor marks this milestone, I wish him good health, personal fulfilment, and many more years of engagement in the nation's democratic process.

A Nigerian woman has cried out after buying just 2 Titus fish for N10,000!

According to her, she spent N10k on only 2 fishes and now she is asking where she will get money to buy ingredients to cook it.

Is Titus fish now only for the rich?
Should sellers reduce the price?

If you are a young person who wants peace of mind, privacy, and you are ambitious and focused on your dreams, avoid this type of building. It is usually associated with the following:

1. Loud noise from children and annoying adults.

2. Gossips here and there. They will talk about your clothes, the way you walk, the time you usually come home, and all sorts of irrelevant things.

3. There is trouble lurking everywhere. The more the people, the greater the troubles.

Business › Re: What Business Can I Do With 2.5M? by femi4: 7:10am On Oct 21
KStylist:
Good my people.

Please I need advice on what kind of lucrative business one could do with 2.5M. That's all I have in heaven and earth unless I want to sell my properties to raise more. But as things stand, 2.5 is all I have in my account as capital although there is a possibility I can double the amount before December.

I'm actually a dispatch rider but this work (although very lucrative) is too hectic and tiring.
I decided to buy more bikes but then it turns out that dispatch work is only lucrative if you ride the bike yourself. The moment you start giving out bikes, the prospect dwindles. So I plan to sell my remaining 4 bikes, reason I claimed I could double the capital later down the year.

My spine hurts badly, my chest feels tight, my palms moved from soft too coarse, my eyes are sandy. Dispatching isn't something one does for a long time, in fact when I ventured into it, the plan was to do it for 1 and half years but ended up do 2 years. I have gathered enough and I need to go into something lucrative and yet less stressful.
Please advise.
