The most pertinent question is will Jonathan or Shepopo or any member of their family go to UBTH to undergo a stem cell transplant? The last time shepopo had headache, we didnt see her for weeks cus she was being treated abroad. |

This clueless, incompetent, dumb man at it again. God is not a man that he should lie, you cannot be a corrupt man and be using God as a shield. This has to be the most obtuse leader Nigeria has ever had. |
Afam4eva: MIT, Caltech and maybe Georgia Tech are out of it cos of the reasons you stated. I don't want an Ivy league school or their friends.Ok. Since you mentioned UCLA and Berkley earlier, are you thinking of going to California? The University of California system is very large, I think they have over 10 campuses apart from LA and Berkley for e.g Santa Cruz . Most of them are very good but I am not sure if they do masters in IT. As for ratings, UCLA is more internationally known but Berkley has maintained a higher rating over the years but realistically speaking, I dont think there will be a massive difference in employers perception. |
Afam4eva: IT & BISThen it is better to look for colleges that are technologically focused i.e. MIT, Caltech etc however the aforementioned are very expensive and the entry requirements are very onerous, if you have a good GRE Score and a good GPA from your undergraduate degree, you can apply for a scholarship- extremely competitive but not unattainable. If you want to go for mediumly priced colleges, i will recommend IIT, GIT and probably University of Virginia. Their masters programs are very good. You are actually spoilt for choice in the US. Just curious, why the US in particular? The UK has very good universities for your field too |

Afam4eva: Which nice schools are there. I know UCLA. How is it compared to Berkley?Lets start from the basics: What course do you want to do? What is your primary degree in? |
adejoro75: Why do virtually all Yoruba support APC and expect virtually all Igbos not to support APGA?You will get an answer when you post with your real moniker and stop pretending to be a Yoruba man/woman. Adejoro ko Segun Oshogbo ni ![]() |
ALTRUTH: I hereby prescribe that a life ban be slammed on Omonnakoda for harassing me all over nairaland calling me Afam against my will. This is online terrorism.Coming from someone that harasses Desola all over NL. How many shepke you don drink tonite? Abeg go sleep |

morufoye: Fellow nigerians,Really? Can you expatiate on that please? |
omonnakoda: What is Tribal or Ethnic in asking for the whereabouts of the President during the civil war which devastated our nation so much.It is indeed an interesting thread! Like a lot of folks, I have never thought of which side Azikiwe's allegiance was; did he support the Nigerian government or did he support Ojukwu? What role did he play in the Nigerian civil war? These are interesting questions that this thread can provide answers and further illumination. It is certainly not ethic or sectarian unless a Mod can prove otherwise. |
omonnakoda: I find it strange that a thread on Abiola who never held any public office is considered neutral#Afam I know you are sensible Mod, can you please move the thread back to the Politics section or can we get an explanation why it was moved to the sectarian section so we can start from there- Thanks |
funnyx: He's no doubt a village dweller as he know nothing about what he's posting aboutPeople are so funny on NL ![]() Just yesterday , top BBC Presenter -Jeremy Paxman called the British Minister -David Cameron, a "Complete Idiott" http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2496352/Furious-No10-demands-apology-Jeremy-Paxman-calling-David-Cameron-complete-idiot-plans-World-War-One-centenary.html |
agbameta: But you can not dictate to people what to and not say.Fact!! ^^^ |
callmenow: I am talking as a person who has lived in the US and EU, specifically UK amongst other places. Please come to London and repeat that nonsense and see what will happen. What gives an ill-informed person like you the grounds to imply that Obama who is probably the most reviled president because of his ethnic make is receiving the level of abuse people like you give to GEJ. GEJ despite his faults is clearly head and shoulders above his critics in all measurable areas. What do you know? What is freedom of expression? To call your parents inane 'names'. Will that mean that I will feel that I am exercising my freedom of expression? You come on forums to expose you lack of knowledge and your myopic ignorance. I suggest you read opinions and not espouse things which you do not know much about. Democracy does not mean GEJ is your servant. He is serving Nigeria as the president. Remember NIGERIA. Not you as an individual. But the collective. Is your views a collective view? Here, there and over there. That's nonsense! Are you sure you have lived in the UK and US? The amount of pressure that UK prime ministers get from the public, opposition parties and the media is unreal. Gordon Brown was called every name under the sun from a Fat fool to an incompetent slowpoke. After he claimed to have saved the world economy by nationalising Northern Rock and started engaging in quantitative easing, you dont want to know the names that the then Opposition Leader -David Cameron called him. Jeremy Clarkson, a popular TV personality went on air and called Gordon Brown a "Scottish One Eyed Idiott" - That was the first time I knew Gordon Brown is actually blind in one eye. It is absolutely disingenuous for you to come here and suggest that Nigerians are outliers when it comes to criticising their leaders. Please visit Guardian.co.uk, Telegraph.co.uk, dailymail.co.uk and read comments from Brits and you will quickly realise that Nigerians are very respectful towards their leaders. Americans are even worse when it comes to the way they castigate their leaders. I cannot believe you even used them as an example Actually I think, Nigerians are still conservative and have a obsequious attitude towards people in power, this could be due to years of military rule and the fact that politics in Nigeria is very tribal. |
malele: Useless unrepentant OLD man.Why do you say so? He performed his job as head of government, we can question and debate his methods but he did his job. However I think he should reduce the amount of interview he grants. |

Itoroetti :There is absolutely no need for the name calling |
Kilichi: In Nigeria when those that feels govt appointment is there birth did get it they start ramping cursing govt in power. But when they get it they use it against the mass.God is watching.Including those that destroy ppls houses as minister and resold the the land to there croniesIt is only in Nigeria where people misinterpret criticism as cursing |
Pukkah: You're obfuscating the issues. I also stated in my earlier post that introducing distractions (e.g. the poster's mastery of English or Fasola's SAN) won't help your case.^^^^ Simples!! ![]() |
