EsotericMonk: Brother, that you haven't seen many cases of Post Bleph doesn't mean they aren't common.
And hey, if you you have practised or are practising outside Nigeria you would understand that all that talk of common things occurring commonly doesn't hold true all the time. You could get sued for failing to pick a leukemia or lymphoma in the early stage while you thought you were treating recalcitrant malaria and typhoid.
It's also ethically unhealthy for me to continue this discussion / argument with a colleague (medical or not) on social media. So, I'd hold my peace. ......i'd be good to my patients. Better to look for a cancer and not find it than not look for it and lose my patient to cancer. I duff my hat |

EsotericMonk: The joke is on you broh. If you get a situation with sandy/gritty sensation in the eyes, tearing, eye discharge, a corneal lesion and conjunctivitis (as seen in the pic) and blepharitis isn't part of your top differentials then you need to ask yourself some honest questions about your competency and reflect on your circumstance.
Posterior blepharitis could indeed present with all of the above and lots of corneal signs, sometimes leading up to corneal perforation. don't confuse yourself. corneal ulceration is so obvious from the symptoms and most frequently present with grittiness. common things occur more commonly |

EsotericMonk: Sounds to me like blepharitis with a developing corneal ulcer, May also be secondary to corneal ulceration.
Dude should go see an ophthalmologist.
PS : Every Tom, Dick and Idiot just dey call cataract like say na malaria. Pfft! blepharitis? better go back to your books |

If he is motivated or not, that is the headache of the Lunatic Albno.
The fact remains, he is a half-cooked beans eating prisoner of DSS.
What he lacks in intellectual capacity, he made up for in senseless noise making. and I suppose you are intelligent with all the poorly worded nonsense you've been saying so far |

If I were you I will take the two. lecturers have ample time so you can easily adopt a flexible working arrangement and also government jobs have better job security. The multinational job on the other hand will give you the much needed skills and exposure to boost your cv and also the pay is usually better . If you find a way to combine the two it will boost your career prospects exponentially and also give you the much needed financial strength to weather the harsh economic reality of Nigeria |

The girl's Condition is not thrush (thrush manifests as a whitish plaque on the tongue) , it's not cancer , it's not likely to be viral otherwise it would have spread to other members of the family ,it seems to be a lichenoid reaction (oral lichen planus) from the picture you posted. A biopsy of the bullous eruptions on the tongue should be adequate to make a diagnosis. take your niece to a teaching hospital. (NB my diagnosis may not be accurate since you did not provide adequate medical history ) |

tochimas: A beg everybody should go buy where there is no doctors, its a very important book to have at home even where there is a doctor. after all majority of these our present crops of medical doctors kills more people than they save, only few emergency situation is going to be needing them this season , if other health professionals are well trained, they should be able to handle most, and the ones they can't handle should be referred to the army or private hospital, they can all open their own hospitals for all I care but they should first resign from the govt owned hospitals first. U sound really stup...IId |

Sunnybobo3: A supposed doctor that does not know that medical practice in Nigeria is regulated by MDCN is at best a quack.
Doctor wannabe. Educate yourself you £ool . I never said mdcn does not regulate medical practice. You sound like a dimwitted fellow that's why I won't waste time to go into details |
