The issue remains. Don't be in a haste to judge someone just because of public opinion.

If the crazy good surgeon has a history of operating very well. And is very good at his job. Besides no medical practitioner would be allowed to work when he is crazy. Talk about other fields like crazy IT specialist or whatever. Just because someone is eccentric people are fast to tag it with mental disorder.

HOW TO ASSESS PEOPLE (NON POLITICAL)
"That lady is a flirt, forget about her"
"You mean you want to work with that dude? I
mean, he is a debtor and drinks too much"
"I don't like that man, he is a womanizer"
The above comments are used about a lot of
people everyday when it comes to assessing
their worthiness to a cause, job, or project.
But is that really the criteria we should employ
when assessing people? Should these be the
qualities you focus on when you want to
employ the services or partnership of that
brilliant lady or guy in your organisation or
project?
I knew this dude once. Always drunk. People
always made fun of him. But there was
something special about him; he could fix ANY
problem on a tractor or caterpillar. He did not
even own a workshop. Most people would not
go to him even if it meant taking their faulty
machinery to mediocre mechanics around. But
an Italian construction firm working in the
area would always call on this drunk when
their White engineers were overwhelmed by
mechanical issues. And this drunk ALWAYS
solved the problem. Despite his other
weaknesses. That firm focused more on his
innate positive abilities while trying to help
him manage his excesses.
King David in the Bible had flaws. Even had a
man murdered in order to steal his woman.
Had many women, enough to make modern
day womanizers pale into insignificance. But
God loved David, probably more than most.
Ditto King Solomon, the wisest king.
In today's extremely self righteous and
vindictive world, we would have ignored the
wisdom of Solomon and attack all his
womanizing and other fallibilities. We would
have hounded him and while he spent time
trying to defray the attacks, he would never
have built a house for God nor had time to
utilize the wisdom he was blessed with.
Methinks that many geniuses have been
overlooked in life by some bosses or recruitment
officers who were incapable of understanding
genius.
In today's fast moving world, out-of-box
thinkers and doers are the greatest assets any
organisation or society can have. To a very
large extent, people ought to be assessed based
on the quality they bring to an issue, rather
than their frailties which, most times, are not
connected to the job.
True, some personal issues can have negative
effects on other areas of an individual's life,
but, its not often the case.
If a certain Mr A possesses the best computer
skills, i will use him, regardless of whatever is
said about him by most people. Provided he
does not have a criminal case.
Infact, most geniuses are mavericks. Eccentric
too. It takes a special organisation or boss to
manage, support, and utilize their skill sets, to
the advantage of society.
I have seen many physically disadvantaged
humans with extraordinary dexterity in various
fields. Better than able bodied men. Why
would i ignore them for anyone else. Wouldn't
you rather play Cobhams' ORDINARY PEOPLE
than Sky B's MA BABY?
We need to change our methods when it comes
to assessing anyone's usefulness. Sometimes, the
ideas and concept that will uplift your
business tomorrow may be in the head of that
dude you already chased away last week.

Some people are really haters from birth. Patoranking meets fatjoe and they are crying with hatred. Not everybody is born to be great and I believe those who hate for every reason hardly smell greatness.

And for all these kids on NL that don't know fatjoe, u should be grateful the Internet has no age restrictions.

Teempakguy:
you guys have problem.
Have I complained to you that I am lacking in abstract thinking?
Why are you trying to force your mentality down my throat? I said maths is not hard to me. Don't you realize that the higher I go, the older I get, and the older I get, the smarter I become, so it all balances up.

I've never had a problem doing mathematics before. Except when I listened to people like you.

Anyway, thanks for the challenge, after my first degree, I will go and major in mathematics. Then I will come back and quote you on my graduation date. Do not deactivate. See you in eight years.
I would have asked you to grow up but you already admitted to yourself that you are a kid. So, no problem. Keep up with your delusions.
EducationRe: 7 Most Difficult Courses To Study In Nigerian Universities by fernandoc(m): 3:16pm On Sep 20, 2015
Teempakguy:
Lolz.
I teach myself mathematics in my spare time. I'm currently doing some rather advanced topics for my level.

That was how people kept shouting that calculus is hard. I listened and stayed away from it, until one day when I just damned it and read it. Understood differentiation within minutes using a very bad textbook sef.

Even "complex numbers" is quite the opposite.
You think Mathematics is simple because you understood calculus and complex number using maybe Engineering Mathematics textbook. Why don't you major in it and come back to tell us how simple other advance topics you've not heard about are. Stop saying what you don't know. Mathematics requires a lot of abstract thinking and some of the courses are very tasking you will do well with a good background in secondary Mathematics but it's not simple.

See your mouth like Mathematics is not hard. You go just dey your house dey assume.
CultureRe: Skunk And Codeine: The New Trend For Nigerian Girls by fernandoc(m): 7:03am On Sep 18, 2015
The worst is that the general psychology and mental balance of a lot of youths is rapidly deteriorating. You see people behaving so unseemly and it's so sad. Some of us who really abused drugs and quit will understand better. When you can no longer count the number of friends who overdosed or went permanently crazy with your fingers you thank God for saving grace. One of my guy had serious mental and health challenge cos he wanted to outdo a 'small girl' in a mixture of one bottle of codeine and magic moment vodka. No be small problem wey em get. Every body body no be the same. Some dey show instantly and some go wait make you Nak 40+ Na that time you go grab the truth of the matter.
