PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari has reappointed the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Boss Mustapha and the former Chief of Staff Abba Kyari.
The two appointments according to the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, took effect from May 29, 2019.

But what if someone gain admission at the age of 28, it's obvious that he/she will exceed the statutory age for NYSC before graduation, does it mean that the person can never be appointed for any political office even though he/she is properly qualified for the job?

In 2011, PDP zoned the speakership position to SW, but ur political lord (TINUBU) and his ACN had to collaborate with other reps members to scuttle it in favour of TAMBUWAL from the NW region. So, do you blame PDP for that?

The ruling APC said it does not deserve any blame for not zoning the position of Senate President or Deputy Senate President to the South-East.

Rather it said the South-East should blame itself for queuing behind Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the PDP in the just concluded general elections.

The party was reacting to the outburst of Orji Uzor Kalu, who said that unless the APC makes him the Deputy Senate President of the 9th Senate, he will fight to become the Senate President.

Yekini Nabena, Deputy National Publicity Secretary of APC, in a chat with Daily Independent said while nobody is stopping Kalu from contesting for the position of Senate President, the reality is that he cannot win since the zoning arrangement didn’t favour him.

According to him, rather than getting angry with APC leadership, Kalu should blame his people in the South-East for putting all their eggs in one basket by rejecting President Muhammadu Buhari and casting over 90 percent of their votes for Atiku.

“That shouldn’t be a problem. He can contest for the position of Senate President. But the issue is, can he win? Nobody is stopping him from contesting. Igbo people always play themselves out. So, Kalu cannot blame APC.

“He should blame his own people from the South-East. He should blame them because they don’t know how to play politics. They play politics like a one-way thing. They all voted for Atiku in the presidential election. So, now that Atiku lost, who will help people like Orji Kalu? 99.9 percent of them followed Atiku.

“So, what is Kalu crying for? He should go back to his people and educate them on how politics is played especially at the national level. They should play 50-50. If this one didn’t work, the other can work.

“So, Orji Uzor Kalu must go back to his people and educate them because he himself is not worthy to be Senate President or Deputy Senate President. So, if he wants to contest, he can do so. Nobody is stopping him. But I know that he cannot win”, he said.

The few that voted for them, what would be their reward?

As a southerner/Easterner, I believe in justice.

APC should limit NASS offices to the West and the North that have majority APC supporters. The south and East cannot reap where they didn't sow. Politics is about give and take.

While the East and South keep playing infantile politics and shooting themselves in the leg, Atiku will reward them

The people that voted for APC in those regions, what would now be their own reward?

My major concern here is, I'm yet to hear from the national leadership of AAC concerning Rivers elections ; are they not supporting their candidates here? Or maybe, they don't support illegality? Is only "busy body" APC, crying more than the bereaved.

Is better late than never; that particular road has been a death trap

The fact is that, even if APC participated in the governorship election, they wouldn't find it so easy, not to talk of this unknown guy and his party

If everyone would support a particular candidate, it means, there is no democracy where people makes their choices. I didn't vote for Buhari and will never vote for him; I have no regret and I don't care. I am from Rivers state.

The argument is that, Lulu Briggs was still a member of APC as of the time they (ACCORD PARTY) conducted their own primaries, so he's never a member of ACCORD PARTY. And they replaced the man's name with Lulu Briggs without his consent.

The day PDP runs an honest campaign devoid of lies, blackmail, curses and religious division, thats the day they will stand a chance. The amount of fake news PDP fanboys like Reno, FFK, etc were peddling was really unfortunate. Even if one didnt want to vote Buhari, we were left with no choice.
