PoliticsRe: Senate Sets Up Committee To Harmonize Electoral Amendment Bill by festacman(m): 4:00pm On Feb 10
This is funny because every Senator on this Harmonization committee is standing on Tinubu's mandate.

It is amusing that somebody is an incumbent, has the national APC leadership in his pocket, the majority of state governors in his corner and he claims to have performed wonders with the economy but he is still afraid of FREE and FAIR election. It doesn't add up.
Foreign AffairsRe: F.S.B Captures Shooter Of Russian General & Extradites Him From UAE (Video) by festacman(m): 4:38pm On Feb 08
If I ever embarked on this kind of national assignment, nobody is catching me alive. It is escape or suicide? Long suffering in lonely isolation cell with ill treatment is not for me.

Ugh, have you tried checking what other countries attempt to break before casting aspersions on your fellow countrymen?
Other countries are attempting to process their agro products rather than give to owners of Guinness Book of Records to process and sell back to them. Other countries are attempting to expand their microprocessor technology capacity. Other countries are attempting...

Come on. What value does Guinness Book of Records bring? What is the worth?

Music/RadioRe: How To Win The Award - Grammys CEO, Harvey Mason Jr by festacman(m):
The Grammy award decision is SUBJECTIVE. A small group of people gives you Grammy if majority of them likes your song or perhaps your face. Interestingly, none of them is fundamentally African.

And again, may be If you meet the 'whims and caprices' of some members of this Grammy 'mafia' or their associates, you get a thumb up. May be ...

This is rigged against Davido. But let him keep moving.
PoliticsRe: Anambra Community Loses Multimillion Naira, As Soludo Builds 2nd Airport by festacman(m):
Bring it on my Governor. Lagos State has Atlantic City with an airport and now Anambra State under Prof. Soludo is futuristically and strategically planning massive massive industrial park with an airport.

When completed, ndi Anambra, their business associates and investors don't have to touch down at Chinua Achebe Airport but will fly straight to the Orumba to do their business with hotels, warehouses, and other critical utilities in place.

Chinua Achebe Airport will be active and viable as it will continue to serve Onitsha, Nnewi, Idemilli and the State Capital Territory area with business activities therein.

Long live Anambra State.

PoliticsRe: President Tinubu Hold Bilateral Talks With Turkish President, Tayyip Erdogan by festacman(m):
Why was the President walking and appeared like he was dragging his feet?

And why was that outer coat a bit too big on him?

Thank God nothing serious happened.

I will sit beside Trump, look him in the eyes and ask "Why do did you go from FAFO to TACO on China tariff and on Greenland?"

Then, I will spread my hand and add "I still like you but..."

Finally, I will conclude " Think more before you tweet or speak."

Pastors live extremely well at the detriment of Nigerians.
Politicians live extremely well at the detriment of Nigerians.

PoliticsRe: MC Oluomo Delivering Speech In English At NURTW Conference (Video) by festacman(m):
musicwriter:
What shortcoming? So, inability to speak a foreign language is a shortcoming?

How many English men are able to speak Yoruba or any other African language?

I don't blame you anywhere. Chinua Achebe and Wole Soyinka are to be squarely blamed for making us mad- two people who went to school for personal gains and to make African languages unattractive to our people.
Inability to communicate in English when he intended to is a shortcoming . Just as it is shortcoming on the part of anyone who can't speak Yoruba when he or she needs to. Drop emotion. It is a big shortcoming.
PoliticsRe: MC Oluomo Delivering Speech In English At NURTW Conference (Video) by festacman(m):
Mc Oluomo no go school but credit to him, he managed to be successful in his agbero career in spite of this shortcoming.

Moreover, he has raised graduate children to bridge this gap.

He hasn't done badly.
PoliticsRe: Retired Soldiers Struggle For Food During Remembrance Day In Abuja (Photos/Video by festacman(m):
One, the truth is that they may have come early for the event and waited for long and therefore hungry.

Two, at most Nigerian events food, meant for refreshing guests are hoarded and stolen by caterers. So, if you decide to be a gentleman, you will go home hungry because the food will NEVER go round.

Most of us would struggle for food in public events. Not some of us but most of us! It is Naija thing.

PoliticsRe: Seyi Makinde Lied, He Never Consulted Me. Seat Not Rotational - Alaafin Of Oyo by festacman(m): 10:01pm On Jan 15
This dude deserves to be told that we are in 21st century. He needs to slow down.

The whole Oyo Empire fame like Kanem-Bornu Empire belong to the past as part of history. We are now in a country called Nigeria with government and elected politicians far superior to traditional rulers.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria’s Oil Output Drops 8.3% To 1.544 Million BPD by festacman(m):
For years, we have talked about diversification of the economy. But here we are still largely an oil-dependent economy.

From President Obasanjo, through Yar'adua, Jonathan, to Buhari and now Tinubu, we have had many developmental economists as ministers and advisers all to no avail.

Something is wrong with our political appointees and policymakers. They seem to hate brainstorming out of our problems with great ideas. Our leaders hate taking risks. They lack political will except to loot public money and rig elections. So sad.

We desperately need a President with a VISION and ROADMAP.
PoliticsRe: In Defense Of Oyo, History Is Not A Democracy Of Lies by festacman(m):
Alaafin and his supporters in Oyo are living in the past. They should wake from their sleep.
PoliticsRe: Alaafin Owoade : An Embodiment Of Humility by festacman(m): 1:50pm On Jan 13

PoliticsRe: Nigerian Soldiers Crush Police In Hilarious Tug-of-war-video by festacman(m):
Nigeria Police leadership is daft for accepting to do this. They should be smart enough to know that this is a "superiority" PR stunt for Nigerian Army.

Engaging in tug of war adds ZERO value to the professionalism and competence of Nigeria Police.
SportsRe: Osimhen Sends Message To Super Eagles' Fans After Algeria Match by festacman(m): 11:08pm On Jan 10
In case you don't know, this is Osimhen's way of apologising to Nigerians for that avoidable moment of madness against Lookman in full glare of the world in the Match against Mozambique.

However, his sterling and selfless performance against Algeria is enough apology.

Carry go, jagun jagun!

PoliticsRe: Every Minister Knew Fuel Subsidy Was Killing Nigeria — Kemi Adeosun by festacman(m): 9:03pm On Jan 02
Subsidy has been removed and they said state governors are getting more money. However, the reality is that our roads are still bad, our healthcare delivery hasn't improved and there is no improvement in our infrastructure.

Nothing has changed, really. Yet we pay more for fuel.

I have seen severally in Lagos, Port Harcourt and Abuja where mad men conducted Vehicular movement when there was logjam. The most interesting one to me was the Lagos own in Apapa. The mad man was so dirty with a very long and dirty dreadlock hair. Do you know that sane people actually obeyed him...... Africa na funny continent I swear especially Black Africa.......

Christianity EtcRe: Apocalypse Prophecy: Police Arrests Prophet Ebo Noah by festacman(m):
By the way, religion-gullible people are all over the world as shown by activities of religious cults even in America the free and scientific society that expect people to question stuff.

However, Africa is a special case. Even African traditional religions teach that humans can NEVER decipher the things and ways of the DIVINE and therefore should accept them without interrogation. It is a big problem.

That's the reason why In Africa, any person, no matter his state of mind, can create a facade and have many followers in tow once he throws in a large dose of religion mixed with threats of death in there.

This is really sad. Anthony Joshua loves Nigeria even when he has no strong reasons to do so. Losing his close friends like this could make him stay from Nigeria. So, so sad.
