PoliticsRe: ADC Candidate Rejects Anambra Election Result, Says It's ‘National Embarrassment by festacman(m): 9:20pm On Nov 09, 2025
The fact is that the slogan "Nkea bu nke anyi" is ingrained in the psyche of average Anambra State citizen. APGA will always win governorship election in Anambra State unless something revolutionary happens.
CelebritiesRe: Ned Nwoko Has My Sex Tape, Manipulated Me, They’re Not ‘legally Married”- Regina by festacman(m): 1:59pm On Nov 09, 2025
I pray Regina that will be able to rearrange her life for her future. It doesn't matter how she got entangled with addictive drugs, she need to fight that habit for a stable prosperous future. She needs to work with a trusted COUNSELLOR asap to plan for life after Ned and outside of Ned.

She has tasted wealth to experience poverty or adversity of any kind. Adversity will lead her to depression, more drugs and a calamitous fall.
PoliticsRe: Trump’s Threat: It’s Time For Nigeria To Wake Up – Kukah by festacman(m):
As a Christian, I would want Bishop Kukah to speak up strongly against activities of Islamic extremist groups but again he is in Sokoto Caliphate and completely surrounded. And you can guess that he is more of an intellectual than a militant, which thankfully, some pastors are in the face of persecution.
PoliticsRe: Bandits Are On Revenge Mission But They Listen, Not Like IPOB -sheikh Gumi by festacman(m):
Federal Government should be alarmed that SHARK Gumi always defend bandits while they grow in numerical strength, amass wealth of ammunition and gain guerrilla fighting experience.

Common sense should tell the rest Nigeria that a Jihad army might be in formation. It is a red flag about impeding danger that should be tackled but, unfortunately, is ignored.

The way una dey talk sometimes, you watch too much movies. Restraining order against who? In this Nigeria? Against a serving Senator? As how na? Do you think you have justice in Nigeria or law courts? No be Hollywood be this, turn off the TV.
Get a lawyer and approach the court first to seek relief or enforcement of rights before giving up like a slave in your own country. Change your defeatist mentality.

There’s no divorce in court, they were only married traditionally. Return the bride price and the marriage has ended.

Your other points are valid.
Thanks
PoliticsRe: Identify 3 Things About This Picture by festacman(m):

You are talking with an individual who works with massive data to build various models and powerful agentic AI.

You have not been exposed to the volume of highly classified data I have worked with.

A flawed data had eliminated a whole unit of US military elite unit. Go and watch the "Osama Bin Laden" documentary on Netflix.

You guys just assume and you feel the US military is all powerful.

My last piece to you.
As AI model building expert, you ought to have known that AI models work by analyzing vast amounts of data to identify patterns and correlations, then using what they've learned to make predictions or decisions on new, unseen data without human intervention.

MT:
Once data gathered loses integrity, it loses its value, and it could be catastrophic in intel world.

US like other nations spend billions of dollars to gather intel, and the data could be flawed, making intel to be non-credible.

So, you might never know the source of data they have. Innocent family could be bombed instead of the terrorists.

That was the point I was making here.
Working with intels gives advanced information and massive advantage than working with nothing, which is like groping in the dark. Having Intel aids in planning. Integrity of Intel is a spectrum and that's why experiences and precedents smoothens analysis. You can extrapolate and interpolate.

I don't blame you. We lack data in Nigeria. We ignore data gathering. We ignore events even when they are cyclical. We work in vacuum. We plan on nothing concrete. We build without foundation. Look at where we are today.

Thanks for engaging.

The same intel that failed in Iraq when they claimed Saddam Hussein has Weapon of mass destruction which turns out to be false.

They are humans, stop seeing them like the almighty.
Human beings gather data and information, study events and news, analyse critically and draw inferences. Experiences, history and precedents help a lot. That we are poor in doing this doesn't make it a rocket science but it works.
By the way, I never insinuated that US is the almighty.

US has full understanding and razor-sharp intels on Nigeria. Believe me they know who is responsible for violence in South East.
CelebritiesRe: Ned Nwoko Gets 48-hour Ultimatum To Accept Regina Daniels’ Returned Bride Price by festacman(m):
Evey being born is entitled to a period childhood and a period of youthhood. Any one who suppresses his or her childhood or youthhood will experience gaps that will be needed to be filled and compensations must happen.

Regina a child actor sold her youthhood and youthfulness on the altar of money and bed of Ned. Unfortunately, she was more or less idle in Ned's house as she took care of her children and Ned. Now, she is experiencing turmoil and seeks freedom to express her youthhood.

My advice, though unsolicited, is that she should
1. Formally seek a restraining order on Ned while she fights for custody of her children.
2. Take a year out to enjoy her youth: party, club, laugh, connect with real peers, travel if she has enough money. But no drugs, please. Drugs will destroy her and vindicate Ned.
3. Sit and plan her future because after the reggae comes the blues. Decide the pathway to follow: acquiring education while going back to acting or creating quality social media content that focuses less on family drama. Or relocating to start life afresh. Or studying law in order to focus on women rights giving her experience. Avoid wasting this critical period of her life just looking beautiful. No time to waste time.
4. Plan her life independently and away from her family. By the way, her brother should get busy too.
5. Quit saying that she earned so much as a child actor as to sponsor an established politician and wealthy man Ned Nwoko for his election as a Senator. It sounds childish and nobody believes her.

Just doing the Lord's work. grin

PoliticsRe: Nigeria Ready To Work With US, Other Countries To Wipe Out Terrorists - FG by festacman(m): 5:12pm On Nov 05, 2025
Reach out to Trump and discuss with him.

The story that Trump is wholly interested in Nigeria's minerals is nonsense. If wants it badly, all he needs to to do is negotiate with our greedy politicians who are ready and willing to sell Nigeria for money and get it.
PoliticsRe: Heed The Sultan’s Call On Insecurity- Punch Editorial by festacman(m):
There is a reason why Tinubu won't do much. It is the fact that he doesn't want to mess with Fulanis. Emirs are Fulani. Top powerful politicians in strategic appointment are Fulani. Bulk of Muslim clerics are Fulani. These bandits are Fulani. The herders fighting communities in Benue, Plateau and minority non-Muslim communities in Kaduna, Zamfara, Taraba. etc are Fulani.

Look, if leaders of Fulani in Nigeria including the Sultan want this terror to stop, it will stop. It might not be automatic but it stop within a short time.

Kemetian:
What about Trump ''preserving the lives of'' AMERICAN Christians, 230,000 of whom have been gunned down in the last 5 years alone, TEN TIMES MORE than Boko Haram casualties?

''What does he really want in Nigeria?'' is what you should be asking yourself.

You have a brain.

USE IT!
Nigeria is struggling with defeating Boko haram for more than 15 years now, struggling to decimate Fulani bandits, lack political will to stop Fulani terrorists' attacks in Benue, Kogi, Jos and parts of Zaria and lack intelligence to nip the prolific new extremist groups in North Central. Yes, it made significant progress against IPOB.

The fact is if Nigeria faced the kind of security threats and problems US faces given their massive border spread and hitherto benevolent immigration disposition, the Nigeria would have crumbled.

So quit the useless comparison.
PoliticsRe: CNN: The Violence In Nigeria Is Not Limited To Christians by festacman(m):
Saying that Muslims are also killed as reason to justify the killing of Christians is criminal. It is not a competition.

The fact is that President Trump's interest is to preserve lives of Christians given that the terrorists responsible for the killings are largely Muslims.

Of course, if President Tinubu acts decisively and stem the killings, Muslims will benefit too.

You do not. SHOW a thing by expressing it as an opinion
It is just an opinion but regardless not relevant here there are several countries that have had lawyers as Science minister
It is a political job not a technical one

If Dangote was Science minister I would be delighted

The job is to put a team together give them targets and provide leadership
A Minister is a deputy of the President
With your mindset that at this point of our underdevelopement that anybody could serve as Minister in any ministry, I can conclude that setting a new agenda and direction as well as implementing critical reforms in the various sectors of our economy is still a long way.

Shell Camp in Port Harcourt was built before the War
It was occupied by Nigerian troops
The Military Hospital in Port Harcourt was built by Shell the army took it during the war
Like I said you don't know but think you know everything

My advice

Stop talking

You have nothing sensible to say#
I love intellectual bullies. Come on.

Yes, I wrote oil discovery under Gowon instead of OIL BOOM. My mistake but I didn't derail. I wanted to show that a good Economist or Finance professional could have been more visionary and enthrone a better strategic plan with the oil boom.

That is your opinion it is not in the Bible quran or constitution
Awolowo was a lawyer and one of best finance ministers ever
So, how come we discovered oil under Gowon and never had long-term plans to use it to diversify the economy. Till today, Nigerian economy is largely monocultural. Obviously, the foundation of post-regional and oil-driven economy was faulty. Certain shortsightedness wass responsible, no doubt.

Yoshimasa Hayashi
Former Science and Technology Minister

Many of you have little knowledge and zero curiosity
You are unteachable. Because you don't and won't ask questions or even think

Worst of all is in this ignorant state you are arrogant

A Minister is a political job full stop
He is there to represent the people

In most parliamentary systems you cannot become a Minister UNLESS you win an election as a legislator

ALL UK MINISTERs are legislators

Take time to process the implications of that

Anyway among most ministers around the world LLB is the commonest degree

Find out why
You dare compare UK that has long-term national strategic plan and working structures in place to Nigeria that is still in dire need of vision, direction and critical policies to drive our Science and Technology sector. Only a professional can review what is on ground, interact with fellow professionals in the ministry and come up with ways forward. I insist that a lawyer will struggle just as an engineer will struggle as Attorney General.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu Appoints Kingsley Udeh As Minister Of Science And Technology by festacman(m):
A lawyer to serve as Minister of Science and Technology? Are we serious in this country?

Science and Technology are critical fields that need a knowledgeable and experienced professional to drive the VISION of the President. Unfortunately, a vision doesn't seem to exist so anything goes.
PoliticsRe: Why Donald Trump Named Nigeria ‘disgraced Country’ – ADC by festacman(m): 7:03pm On Nov 02, 2025
Babatundehy:
The decline was rapid, and it keeps happening, decades pass and Nigeria keeps going backwards, the days of old are way better than the present, every Nigerian would love to go back to the past, the most painful understanding of this is that come 10 years the Nigeria of today could be a prayer request for those unfortunate to be around by then.
Nigeria was no joke, Nigeria had leaders who had honour, vision, integrity, those who led by example, now what we have are insatiable looters, consuming all the country has, like a very giant ape who somehow has the black hole for a stomach.
No shame, not a speck of patriotism, no love for a better Nigeria and Nigerians, all they're about is power and the right to further sink the country by making sure they have their hands in its treasury permanently. Should a rich, powerful and popular man whose mother and kins are dirty street beggars not be ashamed? The president fixes his health in another country, a sign of well equipped and staffed hospitals across our own country, he installs solar panels in his abode because his nation has power issues, the politicians buy SUVs so as not to understand the regular man's feel of the bad roads, their children school abroad, It shows how much they trust and believe in our "overly" funded public educational institutions.
The problem of Nigeria is not cultural or has anything to do with religion, it is simply a lack of honour among the population, tribalism, religion, are just songs on the lips of paid actors or very unintelligent folks who cannot see the actual picture, the elite play with this rhetoric, and use it on their very loyal preys, an embezzler in the north drinks whiskey with a fellow looter from the south, how does a struggling citizen from a lineage that has never had basic comfort like an air conditioner, or even an habitable space fitting for a human being, begin to think the statesman who recites verses from the holy books, from his village, should remain in office and keep eating out the state?
Deep!

PoliticsRe: Why Donald Trump Named Nigeria ‘disgraced Country’ – ADC by festacman(m):
The word "disgraced" was used in describing Nigeria because we are supposed to be the leaders of Africa and God equipped us with wealth and manpower to do so in order to become worthy peer of /ally to other great nations like US, Russia. China, etc. on behalf of black race. We failed Africa and now EU and US fund and own African Union.

We failed because our leaders mismanaged our resources and subsequently, we fell in love with visionless leaders and corrupt politicians due to religion, ethnicity and stomach infrastructure.

We have gone from a wealthy and powerful giant of Africa who fought the Western powers to a standstill and freed South Africa from apartheid to a small poor country that is known mainly for thieving leaders, scam, drugs and borrowing to fund day to day governance.

Nigerian citizens are poor and hungry. Our army can't win a war against ragtag militia like Boko haram and our intelligence agencies can't stop proliferation of extreme Islamic groups in North Central. Our leaders, state governors and legislators are busy stealing public money and living large. No clear cut plan to lift the country up.

We have disgraced ourselves. We are a disgrace. We are in dire of need visionary leaders for redemption.
PoliticsRe: Lagos Is Yoruba United States — Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu by festacman(m):
This is a grand plot spearheaded by non indigenous Lagos Yoruba for them to dominate indigenous Lagos Yoruba in their own state.

The only one moment a true Lagos indigene was elected the Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, it was swiftly revised and even some indigenous traditional rulers who supported the move were sanctioned and later forgiven when they kowtowed once again in total submission.

Why is Badagry treated like an orphan in Lagos State? When will a true Lagos Indigene: an Awori, an Egun, an indigenous Egba or Ijebu become Lagos State Governor instead of people from other states? Funso William, Musuliu Obanikoro, Jimi Agbaje, etc. were all frustrated. Why should non indigenous Yoruba have access to opportunities in both their true State of Origin and Lagos while Lagos Indigenes eat crumbs in their own state. So many questions.

God never sleeps.

Don't you have Students Union Government to follow this up? What happened to spirit of SUG Aluta that makes university authority sit up?

But it is funny and lame how someone is complaining of how university authority is cheating students and some of NLers here are blaming him for not living off campus. It the same attitude with interrogating government on their policies. Some will raise an issue against the government, other people will either trivialise it or derail it with useless remarks.

We have become so tolerant to our oppressors.
EducationRe: Private Universities Vs Federal Universities; Which Truly Offers Better Value? by festacman(m): 10:20pm On Oct 27, 2025
Private universities offers nothing wonderful apart from big tuition that most Nigerians use to differentiate themselves class-wise like "I better pass my neighbour" mentality.

Most painful thing is that private universities have made young Nigerians docile by discouraging the spirit of aluta that functional SUG plant in students as they pass through the University. Now, to protest against government policies na hard work.
