Nigerians and hypocrisy! Most of you here saying some people from delta state are blinded of one sort or the other for supporting ibori are as guilty as those people you accuse in the sense that they are several ibori's in your states and localities being celebrated by your kind and your people, the only difference between those you celebrated and ibori is that the latter was convicted and jailed! undecided

Ngokafor:
...This right here is the reason why even in a thousand years, when it comes to business you lots can never ever compete with the average Igboman or even hausa sef undecided..

..Imagine a grown man like you bickering about language like the indigenes owes you anything..so if you see business opportunies somewhere, you will give it up because you do not understand the languge spoken there.. and would rather prefer carrying files up and down in Lagos crying about 'minimum wage',fallen oil prices or waiting for buhari's 5k stipend..

....dont you know that Nigerians in China,Japan,Benin republic and so on simply learnt the language of the locals or indigenes for ease of communication and businesss...i am really sorry for some of you honestly..
And who is talking about competing with you or Igbos in business? I was only narrating the experiences I had while schooling in one of the federal institution in the east just to buttress the op's stance and probably factor it as maybe one of the reasons and here you are talking about me competing with your likes in business!

The easiest thing to do is just learn igbo language and stop complaining

I speak 4 languages and as a businesses man you learn the business of the land at least a bit
It is a nice thing to speak multiple languages but I believe the interest should be an exclusive preserve of whomever wants to learn and not by forcing it on them. All the same, your point is noted!
PoliticsRe: Why Are Most Igbos Towns Made Up Of 90-98% Igbos Or Native? by Festy4u(m): 2:35pm On Jan 10, 2016
if you believe that the reason why it seems igbos and Hausa live amongst themselves more is because they supposedly share a trait of speaking their native languages to strangers then I am sorry but your reasoning ability is below average
And I believe yours is excellent! Well, I have made my point. It's either you agree or disagree. And you have made your point by disagreeing. So I have heard your line of argument. Nice Sunday ahead!
PoliticsRe: Why Are Most Igbos Towns Made Up Of 90-98% Igbos Or Native? by Festy4u(m): 2:22pm On Jan 10, 2016
hogwash if you have not lived in the core north where 'ba turanchi' is the order of the day when you speak English yet it did not stop igbos from living there
Now u don't need to be harsh with words to pass a point. I only spoke from the experience I had while living in the east. If I might draw from your assertion, it might simply buttress the reason why you find more of the Igbos and the Hausas living more amongst themselves because they are guilty of such occurrences.
PoliticsRe: Why Are Most Igbos Towns Made Up Of 90-98% Igbos Or Native? by Festy4u(m): 1:58pm On Jan 10, 2016
@Op, I think your point is valid but unfortunately, many especially the indigenes of that region may not see the point you are trying to make. If I may say this, although it might appear a little weird but true. The mode of communication between the indigenes and non-indigenes within the eastern states might be one of the reasons. I say this because I happened to school in the east and each time I approached a potential indigene be it at school, the market place or the bank and asked a simple question expressing myself in English, I got a reply from them in their native language! This got me worried most of the time. Now, I'm not saying you don't speak your native languages to your folks but most definitely not to people you don't know or those you are meeting for the first time. I actually replied a guy once in my native language once he had a conversation with me in his Igbo language and he later replied that he doesn't understand what I was saying and I said to him neither do I understand what he was saying. So as minute as this argument might seem, it might be one of the reason non-indigenes shy away from settling in the eastern states. I stand to be corrected though!
PoliticsRe: EFCC Wants To Force Arrested PDP Spokesman, Metuh, To Write Statement — Fayose. by Festy4u(m): 11:09pm On Jan 08, 2016
I have never seen Nigerians so divided along party, ethnicity and religious lines as associated with this present administration. Nigerians who are suppose to rise and speak in one voice either to defend or oppose the government of the day are here antagonizing themselves because of the differences brought before them by the act/actions of the present government. What a government! undecided

Even GEJ would have said the same when he appointed his then minister. PoliticsRe: President Hassan Rouhani Calls Buhari Over Army/shiite Clash by Festy4u(m): 3:22pm On Dec 16, 2015
Shi'a Islam is just spread by Iran mainly for political reasons. Since they also claim to be Muslims they can easily penetrate a nation of majority Sunnis. Iran have been supporting El-zakzaky for over three decade and the numbers of Shiites are growing, It doesn't matter how long it takes even if it is a 100 years...Once the number have grown to a considerable number then they will attempt to overthrown the government. That is Iran only desire, To penetrate Sunnis nations and overthrow the government....Islamic revolution style. Buhari who is obviously from the Sunni Fulani tribe with it's own empire and Hegemony must have noticed this and attempt to nip them at the bud. That is the job of every empire, To protect it's hegemony over a certain region.

If I can draw from ur line of thought that "Iranian only desire is to penetrate Sunnis nations and overthrow their government-Islamic revolution style." And ur argument is dat since PMB is from the Sunnis Fulani tribe, he has to protect his own. I think d solution to d problem is simple! Nigerians then have to vote in a Christian president come 2019 so dat the Shia Muslims can concentrate on countries that are ruled by Sunnis Muslims!

In as much as I detest corruption in all forms and will earnestly hope it's brought to a halt in Nigeria, I cannot but worry for d path d nation is gradually routed! A man been allowed out of d court freely by law enforcement agents after a court preceding being whisked forcefully into a bus by d same law enforcement agents outside d court premise. Are we missing something here? Or is dis d society we have come to embrace as Nigerians? What has happened to d rule of law?
