DH and kid bro were just in the next room and they could hear everything. Mumsy stayed by my head side, even though her doctor colleague kept asking her to leave. She just wouldn't buldge. All was set and someone was asked to pray. Meanwhile, I had requested for the type where I could watch things happen, but the doctor said no way! I was too curious and wouldn't let him work freely. Remember that we had some sought of relationship and I was really worried if he would be able to deliver.

So they started praying, and that was the last thing I remembered. Then I began to have all kinds of dreams that I couldn't explain. Then I would come back to the subconscious and hear myself groaning. I could hear mumsy by my head side holding my head and consoling me. Then I would zoom off to my inexplicable dreamland. Mum said that I would start groaning when the anesthesia began to wear off, and then some more would be given.

My baby was brought out and guess what? Her cord was tied into a tight nut. This was where she got her food from, and was breathing through, so how come it was tightly nutted and she was still alive?
The surgeon said in all his years of practice, he had never seen a baby survive with a nutted cord.

Secondly, her amniotic fluid was totally exhausted, yet my overcomer baby was still alive and kicking.

Then, even though she was positioned head down, she was going to come out with her face. Like, her face was supposed to face the anus, but it was facing the veejay. Natural labour would have been really stressful, and considering the nutted cord and finished amniotic fluid, who knows how long more she would have survived the stress?

Forthly, fibroids were brought out of me. As in NINE FIBRIODS! Two mighty ones and seven smaller ones. I was initially scared and suggested that they shouldn't touch the fibroids that were seen in scan cos of loss of blood like I read on this thread. Remember that my PCV was already low. Imagine more loss of blood... The doctor himself said not many doctors would agree to do both together, it was quite risky. He just trusted God to make it successful.

The doctor really took his time searching everywhere for anymore fibroids, cos scan only picked two. My dh was called in to see the fibroids while doctor was still working, and the guy almost fainted. He had to be taken out immediately. Doc then asked mum to call dad since hubby no get liver.
Dad came in, saw all the fibroids and walked out without saying a word.
Guyman had stepped into the next room and was weeping! Like real tears.
Mumsy followed him out since he didn't say a word only to meet my old man in tears. He was like, so all those things were in my daughter and she was still able to conceive? And the baby survived all the toxic environment and still came out 3.8? That he was shedding tears of joy.

Mum came back to me in the theatre and they finished up. I was shuffling between the subconscious world and the unconscious. I knew when I was being lifted back to my room. Gradually I came through. When I could talk, I simply asked dh, boy or girl? He said girl and I immediately slept back. They brought her picture to me and all I could see were pink lips.
She came out so hairy that anyone who saw her was just ogling. One said that was the reason for my consistent heartburn.
I could see dh all over her, from her skin colour to her hair and even facial features.
It really did end in praise, and my testimonies are unquantifiable.

The only thing now is, since yesterday, I'm not being allowed to even taste water till I fart. Me that was Queen of Farts in my pregnancy is using torchlight to find it now.
Baby farted one big one and I asked her to dash me.
You people should help me beg God to dash me fart so I can at least take water and feed my girl. I don't even need food, just fart...

mamas, i have had serious problem shaving down there because of my growing Tummy and back ache,i can hardly bend. I use veet hair removal but i can hardly see what in applying and mirror hasn't helped me much. i don't like keeping a bushy below and im sure hubby wont really be cool with it too.

I spoke to my friend about it and she said her hubby does the shaving whenever she's pregnant and sometimes when he wants to indulge her. in her words" after all,its his workshop so he's always welcome there to do whatever he likes."
It sounds somehow to me asking hubby to shave me,dunno how he'll react sha if i tell him but its kinda funny.

so my question is,how do you mamas shave with ur bulging tummy and whats your take about hubby doing the shaving. Pls share your opinion. Thank u in advance.

Just try tell ur hubby and am sure he would help out. U wud even be surprised that he would do an excellent job of it.

Imagine the effontery. Instead of you to hide your yourself, you decided to come up with a new story. You have forgotten so soon that Karma must come back to haunt you. U are yet to understand what you have done to yourself but in due time you will.

Mamas that truly reached out to help please dont be discouraged, you responded to cry in need you thought was genuine and for that God will always reward. Remember we are one big family and sometimes there must always be a black sheep.

Anomaly is to check baby closely
To ensure there are no deformity, developmental issues or disability and that baby is measuring as expected.
It will feel like a normal scan for you but for the sonographer, it's a more detailed scan

Present Cappo. Am doing fine. Was told to do anomaly scan before my next clinic day in 2 weeks. Am wondering, is it a different scan from the normal ultrasound scan?

It is well sis. Your baby will make a grand entry soon. From my experience, I have learned that babies can change position during labour. My baby was tranverse while I was in labour and they were already preparing for cs. but miraculously, he turned and I had VD of a baby weighing 4.5kg some 6 years ago. Please maintain a positive mindset, sit and wash cloth like our grandmas, pound yam, and do any exercise that will make baby to engage.

Waiting for a birthday mate for my daughter today.

Ok dear. Thank you. The thing with them is when u go they will give u a number. And from then till even when you are due they might never get to that number. Their process is very stressful but when u know somebody na sharp sharp.

Hmmm. Bs submitted which i thank God for everytin. Bt right nw am so depressed dat i've cried out my eyes out. Thank God we bought all delivery requirement needed by d clinic b4 d delivery nd d delivery fee ws reduced since am on scheme. Bt whn we got home we were left with just 5000 including bank acct which we hv bn managing to a point we wr left with just 500. On Wednesday while breastfeeding my lo looked at his eyes and saw he hs Jaundice did nt knw whn it started cos it did'nt shw at d clinic nd d baby cn sleep during d day, d white part of his eyes hs turned yellow. I called one of d midwife from d clinic who stays around to cm nd examine him. She cm nd if i want quick treatment i shld tk him to d clinic to be put under d light, the charge is 2500k per hour or i shld use the morning sun whc cn tk up2a week. She prescribed some drugs2 buy. Whn she left i started crying cos we dnt hv money to buy even paracetamol. No food in d house me breastfeeding baby with dizziness, with my feet shaking while walking. Today is his circumcision no money for dat, nd if d jaundice is nt cleared he cant be circumcised. Dh hs bn meeting friends sometin he destaste so much. Its still promises upon promises bn dat d country is hard. I suggested to him dt we shld go nd get d drugs on credit promising2 to pay n 2wks time. God jst touched d heart of d woman nd she gv us d drugs on credit. I've bn administering it2 him nd bringing him to d sun. There is an improvement. As am typing dis am filled tears. No means to get baby tins dt hs bn exhausted. Whn i luk at my lo i cry. Mamas i need words of encouragement, feel i shld pour out my heart to relieve me. I eat twice a day, some days jst tea nd bread. Dh will be crying like a baby, dis is a trial we shall scale throu. I hv birthed my lo alive he will stay.

so I went for the scan as my gyna recommended and it's still the same! No heartbeat and the EGA is 10wks 1day against 12wks 2days.

My gyna says to come for evacuation as soon as possible!

My question is

1. Please mamas that have gone through this procedure how much is it?

2. What and how is it done?

3.What should I expect during and after the procedure?


I want to have all the necessary details before going in for it.
