People pressured my mum to do this and that.
She bore the pressure.

Today, (Not to sound like a perv though).
Our boy is all grown up and I love the way his legs sit on him.

Fexcarty, please, please and please do NOT take your son to any massage center either local or chiropractor. If it's not hereditary, the leg will straighten as he grows, You don't have to do NOTHING about it.

Your son looks healthy and cute, please don't play gamble with his life over something that you really can't control. I beg you. Just make sure he gets his calcium ie milk, yogurt, kale, broccoli etc

I hope it corrects itself as he grows o! So far so I and the dad are still trying to figure out if its really hereditary because we havent seen anyone on both sides with bow leg (but u know say person nor dey know finish).

FexCathy , I don't know much about bow legs but I once saw a neighbour who noticed her toddler's leg was a little curved. She told me she will massage the girl's legs. Can you try that too or call an elderly woman to do it. Did they massage his body as a little baby while bathing daily? I don't know...but I suspect these massages could have helped and could still help as he is still young and his bones still soft maybe. (No go break him leg o abeg...gently or use an expert). Grace.

My able mamas! I greet una o! Pls attached is a picture of my son's bow legs. He is 2 yrs and some months. Pls mamas with similar experience, will this correct itself as he grows older as most people say? Also what can I be giving to him to also help with it. Thank so much for ur help

Filled means animal fat was taken out and replaced with vegetable fat. It's healthy for those watching their cholesterol.

Pls mama's which adult milk is best for 1 year above? A friend of mine uses thrive signature for ages 1 to 3 and swears it's very good but I just wanna give adult milk since its OK to take from a year upwards. My son is 19 months

Mamas, am in the process of weaning my son. Day 1 has come and gone. Breasts are getting engorged gradually but av not started feeling any pain yet. My question is do I start taking pain killers now or wait till D pain comes?

mammas in the house pls my 2weeks old baby has a white tongue....I have cleaned and cleaned but it remains white.....anyone experienced this and what do I do.plus he sleeps thru the day and stays awake fussing and crying...it's so frustrating.mamas pls help

Tracysparkle, it could be milk residue but it cud also be oral Trush. If it's oral trush, no matter how u clean it won't go and it also comes in patches. My baby had it when he was abt 2 wks old too.

Am happy, kpele. Its very very annoying and fustrating. My son has had 3 episodes of this. What worked for me, I changed his soap to baby sebamed and used savlon in his bath water and also to rinse his clothes. After his bath, I rub a mixture of baby tribotan and vegas(one mama advised it here and it worked) and then agnesia powder on it. Heat aggravates it too so try to keep it airy. After its gone, it leaves spots but with time it fades out.

No need to worry, just watch him. Most pediatricians will tell u to relax and watch till he's 18months. He's still tryin to gain confidence

I just got back to warri this week and the health center around us doesnt give pcv and rotavirus immunization, they only give penta and opv. Please mamas in warri where can i get rota and pcv immunization I live on uti road around pti.

U can only get PCV and rotavirus in private hospitals not at the health centers nor govt hospitals. Group Christain Medical Centre @ Mosheshe Estate on airport road gives it, so also Lily Hospital, Capitol Hill, etc

placed it on d cooker n started turning the mixture with my omorogun. I added more water until I got a smooth consistency. do not make it thick o.
I scooped the content of the pot in his plate, added milk n viola!!!!!!!!! before I could say Jack robbinson, the plate was empty.

Many people start from about 10months but it depends on the child. Girls are typically faster than boys. With some people in "the diaspora", they wait till over 2 years before starting sef.

Do.you feel he/she is ready?,

Its called eela/nla. My baby usually has it. Dey say it happens 2 fat babies or when the baby wants to gain weight(don't know how true it is anywayz). I changed his cream to coconut oil. Then like mummy2be said, get vegas and mix with baby tribotan. It worked for my son. The red leaf too works if u are able to get it.

Hello Mamas, just thought to share this recipe gotten from Natural Delicious baby food group on facebook.

Let your baby enjoy chicken potpourri this weekend ooh (From 8 months up)

Ingredients:
1 medium sized deboned & chopped chicken (Preferably chest)
Handful of fresh green peas (or 2tbsp)
Handful scrapped, chopped carrots
Pinch of dried thyme
1 garlic clove
1 medium sized potato, chopped
Water
20cl homemade chicken stock (optional)

Method:
Simply add all ingredients except the stock and cook on low heat
Add in stock after 5 minutes if using.
When chicken is fully cooked, turn off heat and allow to cool before pureeing/mashing as it applies to your baby.
