bukkylove: Was this report after the miscarriage? Because this is showing that there is pregnancy.
And to answer your question, yes, you can be pregnant with multiple fibroids, though it will cause early contraction that might want to cause miscarriage but it can be managed very well and you will carry to full term.
My advice to you is to place yourself on green vegetables and green salads at least 3 times a week. Stop sugary things and flour products, stop folic acid too.
This will help reduce the growth of the fibroid. Thank you so much for your response. The scan was before the miscarriage. After the miscarriage happened I was given a follow up appointment in a week's time. At that follow up appointment, another TVS scan was done and the doctor said the location of the fibroid is in my womb and occupying space where a baby would have been and that's what caused the miscarriage as there is no space for the baby to thrive. That if I get pregnant again it's most likely another miscarriage could happen and that the size of the fibroid is big and it's open surgery that could take it out else another method called hyparoscopy or so (don't know if I am correct) would have been used without being cut open. The size of the fibroid is 5cm. I am just very scared of surgery. Will I get pregnant after the surgery? Can I deliver a vaginal birth or it would be CS since I have already been cut open? I am sorry for my plenty questions. Thank you. |

Howyeh: Eyahhh! So sorry mama. May the good Lord give you double for the loss. As regards treating fibroids without surgery, it doesn't really work. ... are they multiple? The sizes and location also matter. Actually, I had fibroids, having tried for a while, I later opted for myomectomy, & by God's grace, I conceived just about 10weeks after surgery.
As for my younger sis, she also has fibroids, but got pregnant immediately after marriage, we were so happy as there were fears as to whether she would also experience delay just like I did.... I was always advising her against stress, bike stress most esp, truth be told, she stressed that pregnancy! ... she started bleeding later, and lost it...
We felt we were back to square one, she booked an appointment with my surgeon, after evacuation, he said to come back for surgery after 8eeeks or so. But sth just kept on telling me to let her seek a 2nd opinion.... (U know how ds ppl sometimes hastily conclude on surgery cos of d monetary benefits) So, I referred her to an old gyn, she went to see that one, and he assured her she cud fall pregnant again, and carry through. Lo and behold, shortly later, she fell preg! ....that time with close monitoring and less stress, she pulled thru, had her baby vaginally. D tumors r still dr, but she' soon start trying for #2.
In essence, if it's not in a "so bad location" & not too big, for you to have fallen preg befr, the Lord can help you to do again & carry thru. If otherwise, pls make up your your mind on surgery, close eye, open am, your babies r in ur arms.
Am few weeks to delivery of baby #2 by God's grace, having had surgery in September 2020. The Lord help u sis! Please how do I send you a private message? |

Am few weeks to delivery of baby #2 by God's grace, having had surgery in September 2020. The Lord help u sis! Thank you so much. I appreciate you. The whole thing about the fibroid is just so confusing. I already have 2 kids and my second son will be 5 years in march. There was no mention of fibroids with my 2 previous pregnancies so you can imagine my confusion now. They said the fibroids are submucosal and 3 in number. The doctor said they can't really say if it's the fibroids that caused the miscarriage and I can always try again for another baby and immediately I discover I am pregnant I should present myself to the hospital for follow up but I am so scared of trying as I do not want to experience this kind of thing again. The pain was so much. |

I want to say thanks to all mamas for your support and providing answers to my questions. The bleeding finally lead to a miscarriage. In everything I give thanks to God as HE alone knows best. Please has anyone treated fibroids without having a surgery? |

Good Evening Mamas. Remember I came on Monday to say I was seeing blood and was advised to go the hospital. I was told to do a Transvaginal scan and the result was that uterine fibroids coexist with the pregnancy of 5wks 2 days(+/- 1week). I was told to repeat scan in 2 weeks and come back to the hospital and observe bed rest and was also prescribed duphaston. Meanwhile I am still bleeding. I wasn't having pain before but this afternoon I started experiencing pain in my tummy and waist. Please mamas I need your contribution and support. I am so confused and downcast. I don't want to loose my baby. |

Bennytwin: Is the blood much? If no,it can be delayed implantation bleeding. It happens to some people like that. Comes around 6 weeks. But you can see ur gynae so you have peace of mind. No it isn't much. Just in one place in the pad. Went to the hospital and they said I should do a transvaginal scan. I am so scared now. |

Good Morning Mamas. Please I am confused and worried. I am currently 6 weeks gone. I went to pee this morning and when I wiped I saw blood. I have never experienced this in my previous pregnancies so I really don't know if this is normal. I have put a pad now. Please do I go to the hospital or what should I do? Thanks in advance. |

julieeni: Good morning mothers/mothers to be, I woke up this morning with serious body pain...My LO is a year and 4months but he will not give me breathing space except when he’s asleep and to sleep again na problem, I must sing all the songs I know, then just when I think he has slept to lie him down, sir chief will open his eye like torch... He follows me everywhere crying, I only bathe and poo when he’s asleep, to wee sef na problem, I carry him when I’m doing chores, I cant leave him behind even when I go shopping. I’ve lost so much weight, I look pale and unkept, my hair doesn’t last cos oga will drag everything out and he is not walking yet. Pls the attachment is too much I need solution before I break all my bones. My dear, welcome to my world. My DS just turned 1 year and he has not given me breathing space since he turned 7 months. He is over clingy and on top of that he allows no one else to carry him except me, his dad and the person who takes care of him while am at work. I cant even have my bath in peace because he would crawl to the bathroom and start hitting the door. Its only when he is asleep that I can have some peace. I believe its a phase that will surely pass. |

Awesomemama: I had the same scare July last year, a month after AF showed. Both urine n blood tests came out negative. It finally came in August, more than 7weeks after. B4 then I was told to just relax n return to the hosp if it doesn't come by sep. Doc said breastfeeding might be messing with my hormones. I'd advice you give it time and see a doc if it doesn't show after sometime. Ok dear. Thanks a lot for this. |
