LagosismyHome: If not applying together then just send her school fees and maintenance into her account for 28 days minimum.. that solves that problem and the rest for yourself and a child can be in your account Thanks |

mimilyrics: Normally no but according to an update on .Gov site ( https://www.gov.uk/guidance/financial-evidence-for-student-and-child-student-route-applicants ), a partner's statement can now be used if your partner is present in the UK or applying at the same time. You might have to screenshot this and explain in a cover letter in case the ECO missed this updated information.
The 28-day count should start from the day after the money required hit the account. If you've had it for more than 28 days, just count 28 days backwards from your online submission day. The end of the 28 days must not be older than 31 days before your application is submitted. If you've had the money in your account for about 1-3 months before your application, you can print for the while period up till your application date and leave the ECO to do the counting. Many thanks. |

Hello People,
A quick question please!
Can I sponsor my wife - she being the applicant and still travel with her - family of 3?
Then, can the count of 28 days for pof/stmt of account start from any day of the month overlapping into the new month?
Would appreciate your response. |

Hello House, I need your advise here. My family is planning to relocate to the UK via study route. My wife is the applicant Course is Social work and duration is 2yrs. Question: - How many years post study can we get as a family? - if Visa is granted, is it a must I travel with my family (plan to still hold on to my job) - Course intake is March 2021, is it too close to file an application?
Thanks in anticipation of your response. |

Morning Peeps, my application to WSU was refused on the ground of not.meeting GTE requirements. What other tested universities can you recommend for social work please? |

I applied as well to WSU. All requires docs submitted for about 2 weeks now for March intake. Yet to hear from them. Am I the only one waiting? VickayThrills 1post=96507094: Thanks again for this helpful feedback... The WSU campus for my Course is in Parramatta.
Another major challenge I'm facing at the moment is that most of the schools I've seen offering my course in regional areas and also some AL1 schools do not have PFL as their agent and I'm working with them already.
What do you advice please?... |

I got admission to study Public health at WSU. Now that it is not on the skilled occupation list. Please advise. What do I do? bligs: Public health won't give you anything other than two years post study work as it's not on the Skilled occupation list. To practise as a medical doctor, you have to write and pass the exam organise by AHPRA https://www.ahpra.gov.au/ PS: You can write the exam onshore or offshore, only two centres to write this exam in Africa, Egypt and South Africa, and atmost two seatings in a life time. Also, there's nothing like cheap school in Australia as an average Msc will cost you around 4m per semester. Apply with your kid, it is easier to get a grant in a single application than subsequent entrant. |

Mikey: Grateful to this page for sharing live experiences of people seeking visa to Australia which has guided a lot of them to greener pastures and most times it’s really hard to keep coming back here. I started following the thread from part 1 and by part 2 I was granted a study visa to WA, having put into practice almost everything I read from here, I was granted my permanent residency May 2020 and coming back to share my good-news I realised it’s already up to part 3. Whatever you are looking for is here and don’t give up, have a plan, stick to it and you’ll not be disappointed. Looking forward to sharing my citizenship news when that come through as well. Hope you all have a great day Congrats! Tell us please the situation with Students now in Australia. How are they coping? Is there hope for reopening of their border for foreign students come 2021? Are there still jobs? etc. |

Hello, what if the child is still a baby less than a year? I'm applying with my baby while my hubby stays back in Nigeria. Would that pose any hurdle? Yads97: Hi Wendy. I really don’t see a reason why your kids are accompanying you to Canada for your study and I’m sure the VO will feel thesame way. It may negatively affect your application as they will feel your intentions may not really be to study and come back when you’re done. I’d advise you submit just your study permit and travel alone first. Your spouse and kids will act as strong ties to your home country and may convince the VO that you’ll be coming back home because you can’t just abandon your family. When you’re in Canada already, then you can start thinking of how they can come over. All the best. |

AyaE: Hello Guys, my grant just came in today!!!! Thanks to everyone who has contributed on this thread one way or the other on this thread. It has helped immensely. My time line: Submitted application-31st July 2019 Conditional offer- 15th July 2019 CoE- 24th November 2019 Biometrics- 27th December 2019 Submitted Visa Application- 25th January 2020 IELTS Score- 7.0 (I had a minimum band score of 7.0 so my average was 7.0). I got a waiver from the school so I didn't need IELTS for school admission. My agent advised I write one for visa so I did. School- Flinders University Sponsor's account: My maternal uncle. Submitted 2 bank statements. One had 18m and the other was a fixed deposit account that matures every 30days. It had 13m. Course- Social work (masters) BSc- Microbiology
Submitted my credentials, letter from sponsor, proof of relationship to sponsor (uncle & Mum's NPC) and sponsor's account statement. I didn't submit payslips or my account statement sha. Challenges faced: I already had an MSc in Microbiology so applying for a second masters was what I had to prove. Plus, with Social Work being a high risk course I had to write a convincing SOP. (I can share that with anyone interested cos mehn this took me like a month to write). My work experience was also a bonus cos I work as a care assistant. Sometime in December the bank statement I used for the school admission could no longer be used cos he had to move the funds to another bank for investment reasons. He had to submit another letter to this effect. He also had to back it up with the fixed deposit account. School resumes on Monday so if anyone could help with flight and accommodation links, I'd be most grateful.
Thank God!!!!!!! Thanks for sharing this. My wife just applied for social work at Australia College of Psychology but her first degree is in Accounting. She has work experience in child and home care. We will need you to share your SOP with us to assist in this application. My email: lab_ejide@yahoo.com. Thanks |

Anon123: Mind me asking, is your wife travelling alone or all of you are travelling together ?
She needs to submit her SOA, if she doesnt have enough, what you could do is to transfer money for her flight ticket or one year stay.. just an amount to support while you still maintain being th main sponsor We are travelling together. |

Hello friends,
Kindly assist with this. Would it suffice for an applicant (my wife) to submit required docs, employment letter, payslips but WITHOUT her personal SoA?
I am the sponsor and all required docs and funds from a sponsor are available. Family of 3. Plan to travel together.
Your kind response will be appreciated. |

Anyone going to Victoria University? I'd also want to.find out the documents required from the Sponsor who is a business man but using his private account as evidence for sponsorship. |
