We only need accomodation for my wife + a toddler - for now.

Biometrics - 1st April Standard, Self upload. (omited birth cert for one of the kids. But was able to add this at the VAC. Paid for assisted service for the kid)
Passport collection mail - 14 April
DHL delivery - 15 April
Visa was actually granted - 9th April.

University requested my hubby's TB certificate, account statement and conducted a zoom interview.

Documents submitted:

Student -
Passport, Degree, Waec, Marriage, TB certificates, Account statement, old passport with visa.

Dependants partner -
Degree, TB, Marriage certificates, passport and account statement.

Children each -
Account statement, TB, birth certificates, passport, and Consent letters.

We all used the same account statement.

We really thank the Most High God for His mercies.
I thank all who answered my questions especially Justwise and Cutieb.

Morning Peeps! @Justwise & others who have successfully secured their visa, kindly help check my account attached stmt particularly the Total debit vs. Total credit. Does total debit/credit matter even when you have the right total balance? Will it be an issue considering the fact that expected balance in account at submission is N19,500,000.

Please help as I do not want to make any stupid mistake. hope to submit in 2 days.

Plan to apply in 2 weeks. Which one comes first before application? Biometric or IHS payment?

Is not necessary but some people do include it. If you check your email, the IHS receipt payment will be there. As long as you paid the right amount for your IHS, nothing to worry about.

Excuse my ignorance guys. Is NHS fees part of expected proof of fund for Visa application or a different fund entirely?

In that sector, get the right skillset and stop complaining. Send your CV and let me reccomend and advise you on what to do to make employers look for you. You are in the UK. This is not Nigeria.

You don't even need to go to your police HQ.
The central records are at Alagbon, Lagos, and its the people there who issue police clearances.
Ask around, you can get someone's contact details (or check the Canada thread here on Nairaland), then you just fill the form, fingerprint and scan and send it and a passport photograph by email and they'll send back the PC to you.
I got one that way a couple of years back, 7k or so.

For latest resumption date, is better she check with her University but I believe she won't have any issue base on that.
For her Police Clearance certificate, I will advise her to get the form, fill it properly and go to Police Headquarter in Alagbon, Lagos state so as to avoid any delays or story. Mostly the Police report is out within 5 days.

The classes already started in March 1. So she was required to pay 50% so she can get CAS and enrol at once. But ordinarily, you 1k GBP to get CAS and pay 50% of fee at enrolment.

April is very okay to apply for visa. Ukvi is aware that students take lectures online due to covid19... As long as your wife is receiving lectures, you are good.

Spent 10k about 3yrs ago to get pcc. I did it at alagbon, ikoyi. I believe the price varies, I don’t know about ogun state.

How did you end up paying full tuition. I also have unconditional for SHU and they told me to pay 1k as deposit to get my CAS. Pls explain cos I dey fear ooo. Sept intake

Hello Fam,

My wife has just been enrolled after paying the tuition fee and can now join the class online. CAS was issued yesterday...

Issues:
The class started 2 week ago but we just want to start counting the 28days 'cos we didnt realise the CAS will require us to pay the balance of the full tuition fee for 2years. 28th day will take us to around April 17. Planned for priority.
The question is will there be issue with UKVI in getting Visa considering the late application.

She is going for a medical course, it's required she has Police clearance certificate. Can I apply for it in my State (Ogun) and how much does it cost?

It is required that you have your first degree in related discipline or job experience in lieu.
