Again, do not fret over this. When it is ready you will get a collection email.

Above claim of same day biometrics and same day collection remains an exception.

My family and I did biometric same day, all priority. I got collection email 4 days after, my family 5 working days after mine.

This also happens sometimes with visiting visas. When it goes beyond the 15 working days, then send a paid email.

We did walk in same time, did biometric immediately after the main applicant. Please, how many days more should we wait for the dependent's or will it follow a normal standard days. You need an attested court document stating he is your legal guardian. He is not your parent.

A transfer to your account is better.

I'm applying to a school now and under the option of finance, I chose "Scholarship/Sponsor", then I put Uncle/Guardian. They now request that I upload confirmation of the sponsorship. Should I go ahead and upload his bank statement of account (dated mid June) or just a letter confirming that he'll be responsible for financing my studies?

Both of the child’s parents must be in, or coming with the child to, the UK (although not with ‘visitor’ permission). Some schools may not issue CAS to begin with.

Every school's immigration and compliance team will be able to advise further. Talk to the school rep too.

Once submitted, it cannot be amended.

Now, cancellation depends on what that error is. Uploading a letter of explanation may sort out that error. If not cancel.

However, TLS refund policy please read it up. Also, If you did not use your personal dom account debit card for the application, I have read on this thread it is difficult to recover the funds.

I am still battling TLS (VI) to refund my 55 GBP (x5). Its been 6+ weeks with several reminders, and this is my own card.

Visa and IHS were refunded after 9 working days.

In a process like this, do dependents also need to declare travel history just as the primary applicant? Or does PAs grace cover dependant even if say at a point in their lives there was a refusal or a ban.

I would assume the admission team/school sent this information to you.

Your program is probably one of those that requires you to be on campus by start date and not before April 2022. 2 options

1. Defer
2. Respond to the email to get confirmation/direction.

Even if the school settles the quarantine fees for the students, what dependents?

Not read of any school that does not set same conditions on the 50%.

The school website has resources that addresses accommodation (school and private). Everywhere has opportunities for jobs, sometimes you just have to be on ground to explore especially if its outside your area of study.

1. You opted for standard. I suggest you wait the days out. People you read about are an exception not the rule. Please also paid priority and got collection more than 5 days after.

2. Leave the funds until you get a decision for everyone please.

3. Do not bother about paid email for now. It is obvious it was treated differently.

My suggestions, but No 2 is important.

My wife received collection mail yesterday and i’m yet to receive any mail as my application is still showing “Application received by DMC”, my question is can i take out some out of the funds i used as pof for her cause all the money was put in my wife’s account? 2. CAS used simply means it has been viewed or accessed by Home Office. It also means that if your visa is NOT approved you cannot use the same CAS to reapply. A new one will have to be issued.

A new CAS does not apply to AR. All these information are on every school's website.

Additionally, NOT every school notifies you that the CAS has been USED same way not ALL banks notify you your bank statement was confirmed. Neither my bank or school did.

If the date for your appointment is 10.30am on August 11, 2021, It is safe to be at the gate by 10am. If tomorrow is not your assigned date, 7-8am is okay for walk in (VI)

I picked up for my spouse and kids. Their passports came 3 days after mine.

What is stated is if you applied together but I was not asked. Handed them the letter and was handed the passports. .

Let me explain. The visa, IHS and priority fees paid are considered 'foreign' transactions. You will notice the visa fee was 501USD but you were probably charged 511 USD or so. Its the exact fee you'd pay if your card was used if you were in the UK.

It’s just an option.

You can have it in your DOM account in Nigeria then take your debit card with you, just be sure your bank does not have monthly or transaction limits. Many banks here do.

It like the usual draft you get within Nigeria, this one is in GBP or USD. Drafts are CONFIRMED cheques. Cannot 'bounce'.

Drafts are usually not too popular WITHIN Nigeria these days because of the ease of direct transfers.

PLEASE LET ME ADD. As you have stated, FX draft can only be issued from an existing dom account not naira account.

I am currently working with my cousin for January intake for social work. It good to have options as some schools take only 30 students per session and 70% quota given to UK & EU applicants.

I applied to Nottingham Trent University for Masters in Social Work last week in June for January 2022 intake. Have written to them twice to enquire about the status of application and they said its been received and under review. They're yet to give me an update on my application status still.
Someone advised me to apply for another course to have more options but I don't want another one neither do I even know which to apply for.

Any hope with NTU?
I need suggestions that can help me, please...



(On the other hand I also applied to Teesside University for same Masters in Social Work for January 2022 intake, wrote to them after about three weeks for updates. They finally sent me their decision last week that my application wasn't successful because the class is filled up)
