Thanks for this, I don't have much study gap as I graduated in 2019 and I am yet to be called for an interview (tomorrow will be the 2nd working day after my biometrics, I'm hoping not to be called for one though) but I'll take all this under consideration especially the part about knowing your school's area

From what I've read, the reason you could get called for an interview is if the caseworker has not been convinced that you are a genuine student through your application, one of which could be the gap between your application and previous studies, they need to know why you are choosing to go back to school after such a long time and what you have been doing since then, basically career progression. 16 years is a lot of time.

For context, you cant get PTA for your travel if you buy a one way ticket.You and your partner can access 8000 pounds at CBN rate, that being said you also have justification to buy one way if you choose to, you program allows you work for two years after study and technically you cant get any return ticket for that duration(3 years). ponder on your options

Morocco is on the red list, the lay over in Morocco automatically means you'll have to pay £1700 pounds to quarantine when you get to the UK.

This has been thrashed out before.
To repeat, the word "dependant" used in the UK visa context, does not mean someone who is financially dependent on the primary visa applicant. It means someone whose visa application is connected to/associated with that of the primary applicant.

In other words, your husband is your dependant for the purposes of this visa application, and it has nothing to do with who is funding who.

I submitted my application in the morning and printed my statement in the afternoon of the same day (28th of July) for assisted service/ upload at TLS.

Statement was for a period of 29 days (29th June to 28th July) with the first transaction been a debit on the 30th of June with a last transaction also a debit on the 28th of July.

Should I be worried that I have a statement which closing balance reads on the same day of my application submission?

Or should I present same statement used to obtain CAS which was for 28days (28th June to 26th July) with first transaction on the 30th of June and last transaction on the 26th of July, both debits.

Kindly note that account is a Nigerian Dorm in GBP

Hello, thank you for all your contributions. Please I have 2 questions;

1. I did my TB test with IOM in June with my old passport (which will expire in August), but I have a new passport now with a different number (obviously) which still states my previous passport number. Do I need to apply for a re-issue of my TB Test Certificate with the new passport number?

2. My school requires POF before they can issue CAS, I have my 28 days Proof of fund to cover my living expenses, plus my tuition balance (I'm paying 75% of my tuition as deposit) but the total sum in this account doesn't cover my dependant's living expenses, only mine. Can I use a different POF to apply for CAS and use a different one when I'm applying for Visa?
