It is not about Obi contesting or not. That even helped Tinubu win.

It is not about Tinubu not getting votes in the yeast. Of course, I cannot expect Tinubu to get substantial votes in the yeast when there is an Obi on the ballot.

It is not about Obi/Igbos refusing to accept defeat. They have every right to seek redress for perceived injustices meted out on them during the elections

What then are the issues?

1. Igbos decided to toe the 1993 path by calling for elections to be annulled and calling for a military takeover.
And they still are doing so up till now.

2. Igbos vowed that Tinubu will never be sworn in as president. They wished, prayed and made every attempt to stop the inauguration.

3. Up till now, Igbos continue to be disdainful of the TInubu administration and still believe Obi will reclaim an 'imaginary' mandate.

I mean, Atiku/PDP have never for once called for the truncation of democracy because they lost the election.

Buhari lost election 3 times and did not call for the truncation of democracy.

So, if Igbos are getting the short end of the stick from TInubu in the mean time, they deserves it.

They are begging him because without him and Kwankwaso, Tinubu has lost the north.

And when you consider that Tinubu does not have the support of Southeast and Southsouth, you would realize that it practically means the end of the road for Tinubu if there is ever going to be a rerun.

When Tinubu and his Agbado corn eaters were going ballistic against Igbos, they never thought of the consequences it portended. They even said that Southeast had no electoral value all because they believed they had the north.
