CilicMarin: Afraid ke? Did you read the article? Smart cards would be used alongside the incident forms incase of issues, as we had in 2015..
The only problem is that, if the INEC disenfranchised some Voters on the account of smart cards, somebody would just wake up and approach the court for the cancellation of the entire election, citing the use of illegal smart cards to conduct the said Election..
So INEC is being proactive, as they don't want to be caught off guard. Your Dullard President shld have signed the amemded electoral bill, all this confusion wouldnt have set in.Let the Rigging START joor |

theoldpretender: I am not excusing the 'dullard'...infact..I regard his subsidy payment as bad economics.
I think he should remove subsidy completely (then I might consider voting for him).
But the reason why he won't is because most Nigerians prefer low fuel prices. And if Bubu really removes subsidy....price of fuel will cost N250 and above ....and there would be protests.
Bubu is paying the N800bn (MOST of which has been paid...it is the last N300bn that govt and marketers are fighting battles over)...because it is leftover from the GEJ era .....which happened because GEJ was forced to cut prices from N140 to N97 IN 2012.
Had GEJ been allowed tokeep prices at N140 BACK in 2012.....there would have been no debt.
QED. None had been paid at as when the marketers gave notice of their strike. The just got a promisory note of N236bn ealier this week. The fact remains that the DULLARD is a scam.He rode to power on the claim that subsidy does not exist.Whereas he is now paying it double. |
Politics › Re: Buhari Votes N305bn For Petrol Subsidy In N8.83tn 2019 Budget by figment232(m): 11:59am On Dec 20, 2018 |
theoldpretender: 1.Bubu made the 'not knowing comment' in the face of the scams that were happening in the sector...scams which probably won't have happened if GEJ had been allowed to remive fuel subsidy in 2012.
2.At the time fuel was increased to N145....landing cost of one liter was N132 . We were selling fuel at N87. Meaning most marketers were selling at a loss. And then there were the debts in subsdiy claims form the GEJ admin (another effect of GEJ being forced to reverse his subsidy removal in 2012). OF COURSE BUBU HAD TO REMOVE SUBSIDY PARTIALLY...or else , most marketers would have gone out of business...or therre would have been permanent scarcity.
3.What happened was partial removal. (At the same time, NNPC was made the sole importer of fuel...and subsides are now paid to NNPC...instead of to marketers as before.). As long as government still sets the price, it isn't subsidy removal. Keep that in mind.
4.We need at least 3 new refienries, in additon to Dangote...to improve domestic refining capacity. And the only way to get there...compel;tely remoive subsidy, allow markterts set their prices the way they want (like in the GSM sector)...and who knows...investors will come and do things like new refineries (since they can now refine and sell at a profit)>
(Which is why Atiku's N90 for fuel plan won't work...it would make things worse...and it means increased subsidy payments). Rubbish talk dont give any excuses for th DULLARD.Buhari is still paying Subsidy and NNPC is not the sole importers of fuel they are rather the Major importers. Why is BUBU paying that N800bn why are the afraid of the strike.Use ur head u hear! |

2. APC is afraid that Nigerians(Except die hard Zombies) have rejected them for none performance and PDP may receive more supports and crowds at campaign and this will make rigging difficult or glaring.
3 No funds for campaign and no APC governors or leaders want to waste his money on PMB as that is not a guaranty that he won't betray them latter.

WAEC will soon be issuing SSCE certificates online How to check NECO result
WAEC will soon be issuing SSCE certificates online In order to reduce the problem of abandoned certificates, the West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) is planning to deploy an Electronic Certificate Management System to facilitate the issuance of certificates.
The council’s Head, Public Affairs, Mr Demianus Ojijeogu disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday, December 13, 2018, in Lagos.
According to him, the online system will enable the council to print certificates of candidates only on request.
He said, “with this in place, it will assist the council in decongestant backlog of certificates lying fallow for several years with very few owners coming up to collect them.
“With this in place, any candidate that wants his or her result will go online to make a request and leave an address of where it would be delivered.
WAEC awards 3Â girls as best students in Nigeria
It does not matter where they wrote the examination.
“The process has reached an advanced stage and hopefully, by 2019, the mechanism would be deployed.’’
Ojijeogwu said the electronic issuance of SSCE certificates became necessary due to the slow response by candidates in collecting their certificates several years after sitting for the West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination.
He added that the exam body has been appealing to candidates to come for their certificates but their responses have been very slow.
“In 2014 alone, we placed several advertorials in some newspapers appealing with those concerned to come forward for their certificates as they are taking up too much space in our offices.
“We did need not get any meaningful response.
“Certificates as far back as 1980s are still lying fallow in our office with their owners not making attempt to come to collect them, moreover, the number will be staggering if we should put them together.
Currently, the practice has been that if certificates should stay in our custody for more than four years, the owners will be charged with a custody fees of N5,000 on collection excluding the N3,500 for the collection of such certificate.’’
The Council’s official, however, said that certificates of candidates who wrote the 2017 Nov/Dec WASSCE, Private, have since been printed and ready for collection in all the council’s offices across the country. |
