Lol I have never witness an election so hotly contested like this kano governorship election.
Been following different media for the latest updates. I virtually slept on BBC Hausa just to know who is leading, and from all the reports am getting, there isn't any clear lead between APC and PDP.

Oh this is great news.
It calmed my nerves I must say. Well here in kano state, the battle is between the rural dwellers and the city folks. Ganduje is clearing the rural areas while Abba gidagida is doing very well in urban areas.

Hopefully, gandollar will be reelected but not without a bloody nose. grin

I don't think it will happen. Kwankwaso's popularity is mainly in kano state and some parts of NW. Though he is more popular than Atiku in the north. Tafawa, sardauna, murtala and of recent buhari are the only people that enjoyed cult fellowship in the entire north. I don't see anybody enjoying this cult fellowship in the north anytime soon

120% of buhari support is what that person will need. Though I still think people's morale will be low as far as "somebody" is not on the ballot.

To be honest, Nigeria elections is based on religious sentiments, region and ethnicity. True. That's why 2023 will be very interesting in the north because buhari won't be on the ballot. And that "APC sak" nonsense will end in the north. Because I have come to realized that some incompetent fraudsters take advantage of that "APC sak" and win elections with the help of buhari influence.

PDP is very bad but the north becoming a one party region should be something we should be very worried of, and I pray some corrections will be made in 2023.

Well godfatherism brought him(ganduje) in as the governor of kano state. The thing is, many kano electorates are angry over that ganduje video, I'm from kano and am also angry at ganduje. Kano state is basically the heartbeat of northern Nigeria. And to see my governor shamelessly receiving bribe is a big letdown.

Well what will be will be. I only hope for the best person that will keep moving kano state to greater heights.
