The way my people are chanting this Abba Gida of a man, I just hope he won't disappoint them. Ganduje tried to some extent but the man isn't loved around here that much. Congrats to ABBA. I hope you live up to the expectation. |
Atiku is an elitist and these kind of people don't connect very well with the masses. I believe the major reason the man failed wasn't even because of Obi/Kwankwaso, but rather because of the disconnection he has with the average northerner. What did buhari used in hoodwinking the northern masses when he started contesting for the presidential election since 2003? It was his pro-masses ideology. Buhari presented himself as the champion of the talakawas. And well, this can't be said about Atiku. And funny enough, Atiku has uplifted more northerners( both poor and middle class ) than buhari will ever do. |
No need for the thanks. But what most northerners will want is an inclusive government whereby my people are carried along. Tinubu should open the borders and reverse this useless draconian cashless policy that Buhari introduced. We voted largely for Tinubu and I think we should be paid with kindness and development. Congrats Bola Ahmed Tinubu. May Allah guide you and help you fulfill your numerous promises. |
Funny. Atiku and PDP will transfer all their aggression on G5 gang. They will make sure the uproot whatever that is left of the G5 from PDP. Lol. The biggest fight in PDP is about to happen. |
Okay it is over. Tinubu is the new president! |
seunmsg:I thought as much because even kano didn't give anybody a million votes. Funny but I think Tinubu has won the election already. Atiku should try his luck next time that's if PDP will be foolish enough to give him their ticket |
If the Plateau results are anything to go by with, then Obi is getting himself back in the race. Fingers crossed though |
Why is buhari this way? You always want to be neutral even when some situations needs you to be in charge. Isn't he the commander in chief again? |
MikeofAfrica:There will be voters apathy. Most people won't still vote Atiku because he isn't popular with them. And the sentiments of presidency going to the South will still affect him. The rerun will just be an Avenue to rig. Meanwhile here in the North, he isn't that popular with the masses. |
seunmsg:But I strongly believe that the North will hold it for APC because the SW has shown that they are not reliable. I will be elated if the North will repay tinubu with their votes. Atiku is taking some states but with a little margin and I think that's what is important. Personally I don't pray for a rerun because is going to be a do or die affair and anything can happen. |
seunmsg:Many states are yet to submit their results to INEC even though Tinubu is clearly in the lead which is a comfortable position but the race is still open. So far the election is unpredictable! Though APC is still the favourite to win |
SaiOba:Kaduna is not Lagos. Anyway I believe the election will go to re-run |
Re run loading......... |
VoteTinubu2023:Tinubu will score highest numbers of votes while Atiku will have the majority of votes in the highest number of states. And this is what I think is happening. Though like I said, the election is still open. I'm just waiting for the results of some states to make my final conclusion |
Racoon:If it goes to a re-run which I predicted some months ago, Tinubu might edge Atiku with a little margin. Though anything can still happen and the election is still open. |
El rufai will really find it difficult in kaduna state. To be fair, the man tried but he stepped on so many toes(both the rich and the poor). I don't see APC winning kaduna State. Though they have a solid structure in the state and anything can still happen |
The North will actually be the saving grace of APC at the long run. The election looks like is going into a re-run between Atiku and Tinubu. |
Obi tried but the person who wins big between PDP and APC in the north will carry the day. So far, there isn't any clear winner between APC and PDP. PDP doing good in where no one expected them to do good while APC is also giving PDP a run for their money in some far North states. At the end of the day, party structures will win the election for their respective candidates. |
PrinceOfLagos:Really impressed. He changed the political landscape of the country. And the turnout of the Easterners was very impressive. I will respect him from now even if he loses which is a possibility |
Obi really surprised me to be honest. Respect to the man! Even if he doesn't win the election the man has put a mark on his name. |
So far LP guys are just uploading polling units that you guys are winning. You guys will be surprised when LG results starts pouring in. This election is between Atiku and Tinubu. Though am surprised with the good outing of Labour Party in the South west if the results am seeing are genuine. Guess there was voters apathy in the southwest. |
Every northern have right to vote whoever he wants between tinubu and Atiku. We don't play that politics of hate and bigotry around here. |
Funny. Only political clowns believe that Mr Obi will win the presidential election. Dude won't win a single local government in the north. This am 100% sure of. |
What is wrong with this one? There are various ways to resolve issues. Even though the policy is anti-people but openly challenging the directive of the GCFR is a call to anarchy and chaos |
APC trying to defeat the same APC. What a time! I guess the opposition will be cruising to victory. The opposition doesn't even need to campaign again because the infighting in APC has done that for them. Atiku and his PDP goons will be seriously laughing at these confused sets of incompetent leaders. What a confused government |
I don't think the G5 will have much influence in the election because most voters have decided who they will vote for. Unless they will use money to buy some voters over. And the senatorial candidates from their respective states have made things kind of difficult for them. |
The Genesis of this unnecessary hardship on the masses was just because the buhari preferred/anointed candidate didn't win the APC presidential ticket. Whatever disagreement you guys have with one another shouldn't be unleashed on innocent Nigerians. The cashless policy has crumbled many businesses and the president is adamantly stubborn to reverse the policy. Should over 200million nigerians suffer because you feel some people are going to use illicit money to buy votes? |
falcon01:The businesses are legal!!! |
falcon01:Are you okay? Many businessmen in kano rarely take their money to any bank. Some have as much as a billion in their possession. Though is a bit risky but keeping your money with you is always the best. You have easy access to it and nobody will deduct any fraudulent charges from it. |
This is the best thing to do. I tell people around me to also take whatever money they have to CBN and shouldn't listen to any governor. Losing both ways won't do good to anybody. And whatever anger you(especially some of us northerners) have for Buhari or APC should be exercised on Feb 25. |
jumper524:I can't call it hate, rather he isn't as popular with the masses like buhari is. Though I believe people usually change with time. |
Same rhetoric everyday of cabal trying to scuttle your chances. People didn't vote for cabals, we voted for Mr Buhari and is very okay if the masses call the government out because they failed the people. Cabal didn't implement silly cashless policy but buhari did. Cabal didn't cause fuel scarcity just some weeks to election but the incompetent buhari administration did. I don't know why the APC folks are trying to shift blame to some imaginary cabals! Your government disappointed the people that voted them in and I believe it will be good if the APC government accept that it failed in many areas of government. Look at the naira, look at inflation, look at insecurity, look at education, look at unemployment, look at naira scarcity, look at fuel scarcity, look at the health sector, etc.. Common!!! Tell that to the birds. And you guys are saying the APC/buhari administration shouldn't be held responsible but some imaginary cabal |
And who told you the North with go with APC?
