You will find it hard to convince anyone on this base on the evidence of this past 4years. Buhari is as corrupt as they come.

Same goes for the North generally, they are as corrupt as any other tribe in the country, if not more, very hypocritical set of people.

Buhari is adored in the North because of his strong Islamic ideas. Atiku was rejected because he his liberal The North don't like liberal Muslims, they want people that can openly support and defend Islamic agenda like sharia law and Jihad. Buhari has over the years endeared himself to the Northerns through religion. Religion is the first language of the North, not integrity or corruption like you are suggesting.

The hatred SS and SE have for Buhari is the reason he contested three times and lost. SW was indifferent then.
SW is Buhari's buffer against SE and SS hate else he would never had won.

Why is there a reduction in number of votes from major Northern strongholds of Buhari?
Simply because many people are not really happy with things..

The fact that APC win SW is a pointer to the fact that despite the economic issues, Yoruba's still believe Buhari will take Nigeria to greater height..


SW governors are the major reason for the low margin..
They were not paying salaries and were collecting bailouts from Buhari. Buhari didn't rein them in at the right time...

Those of us who ensured PDP failed in South West are deep thinkers who know Buhari has done incredibly well considering the available resources..

With the economic issues, APC internal crises, governors owing salaries and number of SE people in Yorubaland, Yoruba people still cherish the hard way to success..

That PDP got substantial vote is a pointer that things are not yet at level we are but those who voted APC knows we are on right path

Akeredolu should never have been allowed to govern Ondo State. He’s the reason why APC lost. Boroffice is the only senator elect from Ondo, he won because he was not supported by Akeredolu. If Akeredolu had had his way and imposed his choice, APC would have lost all the three seats.

As for Oyo, the people are tired of Ajimobi. He has no business contesting for senate again but out of greed, he contested and lost. APC won the two other senate seats and majority of the house of reps seats.

Overall, APC won south west and that is what matters. If PDP had won the region like they did in 2011, Atiku would be coasting home to victory by now. We must stop this attempt to downplay south west’s contribution to APC’s victory
